Coffee Shops near Sylvan Lake

“Quick service... I just wish I didn't have to ask for the receipt every time I go to any McDonald's or any fast food restaurant.

Wow... It was $5.50 just for a sausage egg McMuffin just the sandwich not the meal, wow that's a lot.“

“Great coffee and very kind owners! baklava was amazing and the dubai chocolate iced coffee was perfect!“

“They are made the BEST way. Nice staff and quick service!“

“Frank and the entire Chazzano staff are always ready to serve their freshly roasted coffee and they offer a great selection of beans to take home. We also liked the selection of teas. There’s no better way to start your day!! Love the new Berkley location.“

“We loved L. A. Cafe. Great food and drinks, and they had many vegetarian options which was appreciated! I absolutely adore the atmosphere inside, and all the tie-dye items they have for sale! I can't wait to come back, I only wish they were open for longer that way I could make it in more! 😊“

“Very good cafe, nics place“

“Just discovered this neighborhood gem. Fresh & made with intention. Immediately skyrocketed to the #1 spot for my weekend mornings.“

“Love this place. Always great food and service. To the lady that left her purse there for how long?Six weeks? Honchos should have charged you a storage fee. You can't blame others for your lack of responsibility. You are slandering their business for something YOU did. How would you feel if someone slandered your husband's ophthalmology business over something he didn't do?“

“Great coffee, ice cream, sandwiches, and bagels. Friendly, personable staff. A cozy spot to sit and relax or work for a bit. Farmington Hills’ version of “Cheers.”“

“wonderful staff and great service!“

“This location is always so upbeat and cheery! The staff is so positive, knowledgable and kind! The bowls are always deliciously chocked full of goodness! I ordered the coco berry bowl. The coconut base has a great creamy texture and the fruit is always super fresh!“

“I had such a wonderful first experience at Qahwah House. From the moment I walked in around 7:30 am, Haider was incredibly welcoming, energetic, and attentive. He took the time to learn what I liked, offered excellent recommendations, and made me a coffee that was absolutely delicious and exactly how I like it. I got an iced brown sugar shaken espresso and finished it almost immediately, lol. If you like sweet coffee, I highly recommend it.

Haider even surprised me with a complimentary sample of the pistachio milk cake since it was my first visit, and it was amazing. The kindness and exceptional service truly made my morning. Qahwah House has definitely gained a new regular.“

“Cafe Origins is an absolute gem! The coffee is rich, fresh, and perfectly brewed, and the food quality is top-notch. The ambiance is warm and welcoming—great for catching up with friends or getting some work done. What really stands out is the friendly and attentive staff who make you feel right at home every time. If you’re looking for a cozy café with great vibes and excellent coffee, Cafe Origins is the place to be. Highly recommend!“

“If you are a Kpop fan and love with the Korean culture then this is the place for you! It’s one of the few places in Michigan where we Kpop fans can gather and connect with each other! I was just there and the cafe allowed Kpop fans of ASTRO to do a vigil memorial for the death of Moonbin! I wanted to do something to say my goodbyes to the artist and I seriously appreciated that they provided that space for people to do that and other Kpop events! Plus the food is always very yummy too! ✌🏻😉💜🫰🏻🇰🇷“

“Was driving through Grand Blanc, and just happened to this place. Ordered a rada’a, a light roast coffee with cardamom and ginger. Loved it, I’ll definitely be back!“

“Yummy beverages (Butter Bear is so good!) Super friendly staff & great service 👍“

“I love this place sooo much!!! Every time I come in here the girls make my day, they are all so kind and deliver amazing service. They are consistent with their drinks, especially their matcha. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves a nice little iced latte or matcha.“

“nice people, great coffee!“

“Lula's is a very casual cafe. The food was excellent, great taste, freshness and presentation. We went here for brunch and had a sandwich with side greens.
I also had a hot chocolate which was delicious!!
I was not aware of this place until my friend suggested it.“

“Today Christmas Day this Starbucks was jammed and standing room only and the AMAZING staff showed the best teamwork I have ever seen to craft and deliver delicious drinks to all! Merry Christmas to the amazing staff!!“

“Hudson’s is seriously one of my favorite spots. Everything I’ve had there is absolutely delicious, and their drinks are always so good without being overly sweet. I love that they offer Elmhurst almond milk and homemade syrup, which makes such a difference.

The customer service is amazing every single time, and I also really appreciate that they have healthier drink options in the refrigerator section and healthy food/snack options. I’ve brought my kids in a few times and always feel like I can count on Hudson’s for something delicious that also feels like a better choice. Such a great place. I’ll definitely keep coming back!“

“Teuta Birmingham delivers absolutely outstanding quality and service\. “We actually live closer to another location but will drive a little farther to come to this location. The staff is super friendly and helpful, always making sure you get the best deal. We love free shot Friday so much that it’s our 2 toddlers favorite phrases! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Great place to stop for morning coffee and breakfast, everyone at this Starbucks is wonderful especially Chris the manager. What a great experience not just one or two times but I love starting my day with excellent coffee and breakfast and fantastic people.“

“Paris Baguette never disappoints, and their Strawberry Matcha Cake is a absolute masterpiece! The bakery was clean, welcoming, and beautifully stocked as always. The cake itself has the perfect balance of flavors. The three layers of matcha sponge cake offer a rich, authentic green tea taste that pairs beautifully with the light, refreshing strawberry soft cream and fresh strawberries. It is wonderful to have a reliable franchise that consistently delivers such high-quality, beautiful, and delicious pastries“

“We had such a wonderful experience! Ivanna was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. She helped us choose the best options and made sure we had everything we needed. The desserts were absolutely delicious! We are very grateful and will definitely be back!“

“Shout out to the guy operating the drive thru today around 11am. The friendliest person I have meet in awhile for retail. You really made my day today!“

“This location is 5 stars all around! Its always very busy when I go but they get through the line promptly and efficiently. All the workers are so nice and sweet regardless of how busy it is which honestly is hard to find nowadays. The drinks are delicious as well!“

“My half caf almond milk cruise latte was delicious! Place has good vibes too. And if you have an account @MichiganGrowler next door you can earn points at both!“

“The staff here is so welcoming!
# 1 on my list for my favorite Pumpkin Spice Latte. It tastes right and they make it correctly. I have been to many Starbucks. Very few stores make it the same. Thanks ! 😊 14 mile and Decker rd.
In Novi.“

“Pleasantly surprised to find this great pastry shop in Keego Harbor. Not sure when this opened but the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. We just wanted a little dessert after dinner and got the small chocolate mousse cake. It was simply fabulous. Looking at the wide selection of pastries, croissants and desserts; we will definitely be back to try more things. Great indoor and out seating areas.“

“If you want your coffee made right this is the place.. Ask for Melanie great service with a great smile..“

“Love this place☺️ love the all the teas, my guy loves the coffee.“

“The young people working at this store have so much energy and are so quick to their task. They are patient with customers and make sure to smile , I’m a regular everyday! The atmosphere at this bakery is not like another, the food is top tier.“

“As an Actor and Filmmaker, I tend to hold a lot of meetings at Starbucks on Sashabaw Rd in Independence Township, MI as it's 25 seconds from I-75 and easy to find, but the latest remodel has reduced the available seating considerably and I'm rethinking Starbucks as a destination. It's nice that there are more power outlets to plug devices in, but fewer chairs make this added convenience counterintuitive. Not a fan of having to sit outside so I'm considering alternative, well-known locations. I think Tim Hortons may be a bit more hospitable to guests.“

“Every time I come in here I always have a great experience. The staff are very professional and friendly. And I must say they're caramel frappe is way better than Mcdonald's! I may have found my new spot for a caramel frappe. Also their breakfast sandwich when I opened it up it looked a little small at first. I went to open it up and found out it packs one hell of a punch! Well done ladies. I think I found my new Hot Spot!😎😂 Thanks to Mila for always being professional and service with a smile. Loved the attention to detail with her outfits too!“

“I would just like to say, whoever makes my ice brown sugar oat, shaken espresso. You deserve the biggest kiss. I’d rather Starbucks I go to does not make it properly and normally it is very watered down and disgusting. However, you guys exceeded my expectations. I’ve never been disappointed by this location! My order is prepared Quick, the workers always make sure to greet me every time I walk in or acknowledge me. Thank u for making my mornings!!“

“Everyone who was scheduled this morning needs a true applause from management. They were friendly, professional and working fast during a very busy morning rush. The workers making the drinks and food had such great flow I was impressed, and the girl managing the online orders was keeping track effectively, guy in window was polite. Great job, I came in and got my order fast !“

“Best Coffee in White Lake 😍“

“I had the most amazing dark roast medium coffee with French vanilla syrup cream and sugar made to perfection this coffee was so good that I actually wanted to hug the person who prepared this coffee for me thank you so much for starting my morning off and an excellent way I go to the Dunkin’ Donuts all the time on telegraph and 96 and the customer service is horrible“

“I love Starbucks, but I really love this location; it is the only Starbucks Reserve in the area AND I am hooked on the Hazelnut Bianco Latte both hot and iced.“

“This is by far one of the best Tim Hortons I’ve been to! Everything is always fresh, the coffee is so good, and they always get my order right. The staff is really nice and the service is fast even when they’re busy. You can definitely tell they care about the quality of what they’re serving. I’ll go out of my way to come to this location!“

“The steak and eggs and the pear, goat cheese toast is perfection! Great atmosphere.“

“The atmosphere here is absolutely uplifting. The employees are always kind and respectful! The lobby is always clean and welcoming for everyone.“

“This review is for the Royal Oak Roast only. The road is full of as*holes , the world going to sh*t more and more. The people in charge care not at all and we are on a very possible path to doom. Why not stop in at Royal Oak Roast? It’s a comfy place with great people watching. The coffee is wonderful and refills are a dollar. So many different coffee choices in all styles, including espresso over over Weiss vanilla ice cream!!! The kitchen, yes I said kitchen has scrumptious food that is presented beautifully with the seasonal selections. All this sound good? Well that’s not even the best part. It’s the staff. It’s a varied collection of kind, hard working people that make you feel welcomed and are always working hard to get your order out to you. Leave the stress behind and relax here with friends and future friends. You will be glad you came“

“Best staff, coffee and donuts!!!❤️“
