The owner has gone to great expense in her expert choices of grinding and brewing equipment, coffee beans, flavorings, etc. The atmosphere, like the staff, is warm and inviting. Even when busy, the wait is surprisingly short! “I had such a wonderful first experience at Qahwah House. From the moment I walked in around 7:30 am, Haider was incredibly welcoming, energetic, and attentive. He took the time to learn what I liked, offered excellent recommendations, and made me a coffee that was absolutely delicious and exactly how I like it. I got an iced brown sugar shaken espresso and finished it almost immediately, lol. If you like sweet coffee, I highly recommend it.

Haider even surprised me with a complimentary sample of the pistachio milk cake since it was my first visit, and it was amazing. The kindness and exceptional service truly made my morning. Qahwah House has definitely gained a new regular.“

“Ok so I work in wixom and the Starbucks I usually go to (on Beck road) is closed so I started going to the one in new Hudson and LET ME TELL YOU how much I love this location. To make things better, my favorite barista from the location on Beck, Rachel, is now working at this location. TO TOP IT ALL OFF, this pure hearted woman bought my coffee and wrote me a cute fricking note on my cup. I live nowhere near this location and although I work a few miles away, I will come to this location as long as I feel boujee and need my cold brew, which will probably be forever. The iced espresso was strong and fresh. Won’t be sleeping tonight! Love it.

The peanut butter overload hand scoop was delicious 11/10.

The vanilla shake was good but too runny, tasted a bit more plain than a rich flavor but definitely like true vanilla.

The pup cup was definitely good as the dog ate every single ounce of it.

“I have been coming to this location for a few years now. I go out of my way to make sure this is the only location I get my drinks/food from. I absolutely love the staff! They are so friendly and always seem to work well together. Nicole has been here for a while and she remembers me from a year ago when I was pregnant and always getting donuts! I love when we can have a quick minute to chat, “how are the kids” as she’s handing me my beverages or snacks. This location always makes me feel welcomed and at home!“

The food was delicious as well, you can tell the food is made with great care and high quality ingredients. I got The Balkan Reserve meal and was very satisfied with my order. The meat was fresh, juicy and well seasoned. As well as the bread, dips, and sides all fresh and well made. You can tell there is a great deal of pride from the cooks who prepare it

“Pleasantly surprised to find this great pastry shop in Keego Harbor. Not sure when this opened but the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. We just wanted a little dessert after dinner and got the small chocolate mousse cake. It was simply fabulous. Looking at the wide selection of pastries, croissants and desserts; we will definitely be back to try more things. Great indoor and out seating areas.“

“As an Actor and Filmmaker, I tend to hold a lot of meetings at Starbucks on Sashabaw Rd in Independence Township, MI as it's 25 seconds from I-75 and easy to find, but the latest remodel has reduced the available seating considerably and I'm rethinking Starbucks as a destination. It's nice that there are more power outlets to plug devices in, but fewer chairs make this added convenience counterintuitive. Not a fan of having to sit outside so I'm considering alternative, well-known locations. I think Tim Hortons may be a bit more hospitable to guests.“

“I had such a great experience at Tim Hortons this morning that I had to share. I went through the drive-thru for a coffee and a bagel and, being half asleep, I drove off with my coffee and completely forgot my bagel. As I was exiting the parking lot, I happened to look over and saw the employee running outside trying to get my attention so he could give me the bagel I left behind.

He easily could have just let me go and assumed I’d come back, but instead he went out of his way to make sure I got my food. That level of customer service and kindness doesn’t happen often anymore, and it really made my morning. Thank you for going the extra mile!!“

“Went through the drive-thru to get coffee for my sister who has been dealing with morning sickness. Realized after I got the coffee that she can’t do whip cream and prefers oat milk now. The baristas were very kind and patient. They remade the coffee and didn’t charge us even though I wanted to pay. Been here several times, but today you went over and beyond. “They make the best Frappucinos at this location but i just think its ridiculous that they close 30 minutes before they are actually supposed to close so they can clean the blender. Normally you close at your advertised time and then clean up to go home. Just change your hours if you want to stop taking orders 30 min before you close. Please dont post that you are open till 8 if you stop taking orders at 730. this is a new thing by the way because i used to walk in after 730 and be able to order. other than that their drinks are the best here.“

I believe her name is Cheryl, she's normally at the window in the morning, she is always working hard, helping new people, and making sure people get their stuff as quickly as possible. “We stopped in to get a bagel and it was ordered lightly toasted with light butter. When we got out to the car the bag had grease stains all over it and I immediately took the wrapped bagels out of the bag and they were floating in Greece. The person who toasted and buttered them apparently has a very weird idea of what light butter is. They were almost too greasy to eat. Neither my husband nor I could finish them“
