“I happened to be in the area on paczki day. The shelves were bare, but they were making the delicious pastry as fast as they could. The store is the size of a shoebox and the parking is minimal, but you go there to takeout. I've been here many times in the past, and the donuts are the best around! The employees were pleasant and cheerful despite the huge demand on that day.“
“With many cafes and coffee shops in the vicinity, one must stand out in order to win the local business. CFE does EXACTLY that! I was so incredibly impressed with CFE. The historical setting of the coffee shop has modern decor touches while keeping the building’s classical charm. Upon walking in a was greeted by truly smiling, happy staff! There is seriously nothing better! I told them I was new to the shop and wondered what they offered. The young man politely showed me their simple classic menu, seasonal specials, and the beautiful pastries and cakes. He let me know that all of the pastries were house made (except for one, which was made at a local bakery). I ordered a Cozy Chai Latte from the seasonal menu. The staff member encouraged me to pick a seat and he would bring it to my table. Such a nice touch. All pricing was very reasonable. My goodness, I have never had such a delicious cup of anything in my life. Warm, flavorful, frothy, and served in a REAL MUG! I’m sure they have disposable takeout mugs for those on the go, but I did appreciate a legitimate mug while I enjoyed catching up with a friend. An array of sweeteners and coffee accessories are available at a self-service station, along with a lemon water dispenser. The interior of the store was clean, attractively decorated, and spacious. There are many cozy options for seating - couches, armchairs, big tables, small tables, and outdoor options for the warm weather. I loved how the semi-separation of areas/rooms in the shop allowed for some more privacy. Plus, bar seating is available near the barista. The single unisex bathroom was spacious and clean, and well stocked. It is a typical bathroom but still decorated and maintained. The attached parking lot is a big benefit, too. No need to walk from the municipal lots downtown! Plenty of parking is available in the dirt lot. A low-grade, accessible ramp is present from the lot to the entryway. As I anticipated, the friendly staff said goodbye to us on our way out, flashing big smiles all around. The hospitality here made me want to write this review even more - these people care about the establishment and I wish for them to know that it didn’t go unnoticed. I will absolutely be sharing this establishment with anyone I know in the market for an elevated coffee house, with staff who are happy to be there and delectable beverages made with care (all while paying lower-than-Seattle-Based-Coffee-Company’s prices). “This coffee shop is amazing! I got the hot chocolate and it was amazing. So chocolaty and smooth. It’s hard to find a perfectly fitting lid on cups, but white pine did it. Finally, this place has the character of a 200 year old cozy cabin feel with modern amenities you are looking for.Overall, would recommend!“
“Aesthetic cafe in Lake Orion with great vibes and friendly baristas. Offers a wide selection of iced or hot coffees/teas and specialty/seasonal drinks as well as baked goods and prepackaged snacks. We ordered the chocolate chip sconookie (cross between a scone and a cookie) that was worth breaking any diets for, and the cafe con miel and Americano. Both drinks were excellent. I would've loved to see a couple of savory items on the pastry menu but we were happy with what we ended up. I now know why this is a favorite spot for my teens and their friends when they want a place to hang out or study.Parking: Street parking in front of the building and around downtown Lake Orion and lot behind the building with access to two entrances“
“I went here on a Sunday morning with a gal pal. We both enjoyed our mocha lattes. I had one made with regular milk, no whipped cream. She got one with skim milk and whipped cream. The cinnamon bagel with cream cheese was pretty good, too. The service was good. However, I wouldn't recommend this place if you're in a hurry.“
“This restaurant has grown to become a favorite of ours - especially the salads! However, on multiple occasions they have been out of the queso dip. That is by far the best appetizer. Please keep this available all days of the week! I will say instead we tried the salchipapas and they were surprisingly really good, specifically the Peruvian chili sauce.Edited! I feel I have to edit this as we have not faced the issue of the queso being out in a long time. Also, Sandy rocked as our waitress tonight, going the extra mile is always appreciated and remembered by guests.“

“This place is really neat! My boyfriend and I stopped in to grab some coffee, and we were not disappointed! Staff was super friendly and helpful, coffee was DELICIOUS! I had a panda mocha Frappuccino with an extra shot (so good! perfect amount sweetness and coffee flavor) and my boyfriend had an iced macchiato, which he said was delicious too (it was, but I like my coffee sweeter haha). The inside of the store itself was really cute; lots of space to hangout and relax. I definitely recommend stopping in if you're in or near the Legacy Center looking for some coffee or a snack ?“

I had a customer fav - the bacon jalapeño. I also enjoyed a cafe miel “the bees knees” and matcha. Rebecca was very helpful while taking my order and I was able to pay over the phone.The next morning I was able to get my order and it was ready on time. The only downside was the lobby was not open and I had to go through the drive thru. My order was large and did not fit nicely through my car window. I had to get out of my car and place it in the backseat.“

“My Mom and I go to this Starbucks location three times a week right before she goes to dialysis near by. A couple of the ladies recognize us, remember our order and are always very pleasant. I wish I knew their names, I’d love to give them a shout out and I’ll edit this review once I get their names. One of them recognized us by voice after many months of the COVID shut down in 2020 which blew my mind. That’s a very busy location and for her to remember us like that and say she missed seeing us blew our minds. The other employees are nice too. It’s a good crew!My only complaint is too much ice in my mango dragonfruit lemonade when I ask for very light ice. It’s still a 1/4-1/2 the venti cup which is a lot. Especially when you pay so much for the drink.“

“I love the order ahead option on the app. There's limited parking and the drive through line is usually long, but if you can find a parking spot and just run in to grab your order, it's so quick and easy. My only complaint is they packaged the cake pops with the breakfast sandwiches and the pops melted... My kids were bummed. But always consistently delicious food, drinks and coffee.Parking: I wish there were more spaces, there were none available in the lot.“
