“Took forever for this establishment to open but I'm happy it's finally open. Went up on the BOGO day and it was packed but they got everyone in and out in a timely manner. All food is perfectly made , tastes amazing, and light. Place is very clean , presentation is appealing and clean the place is small but has a special character to reflect Darbunah (iraqi word for alley) that is old and authentic

Prices very reasonable, the food quality and portion sizes are great

The mixed plate is variety of finger food with fried tomatos

Makhlama eggs ground beef and sauteed vegies

Mumbar, was clean and light, but I prefer it with spices that the northern iraqi cuisine is famous for.

Kibda was amazing (liver with sauteed vegies and spices

Misabaha , yogurt eggplant chickpeas and spices

Bagela bil dihen , is dried fava beans slow cooked boiled, mixed with Khubuz (flat bread) soaked in the fava bean broth, then mixed with spices, topped with Iraqi style scrambled eggs and drizzled with hot gea

Kahi and geemer was our desert and geemar which is cream, was perfectly made , kahi is a version of croissant“
