Parking: The parking here can be tricky the parking lot is really small so you either have to fight for a spot or park at one of the trip malls nearby and walk over which isn't too far.

Kid-friendliness: Kids like it here, and I've seen kids sports teams go here.

Wheelchair accessibility: Difficult if you are in a wheelchair. I've seen people in the electric wheel chairs struggle to get through. The furniture is large and not easy to push out of the way for someone whose mobility is different.“

“I absolutely love this place. I always make it there on a Friday night, for obvious reasons, LOL! The bartenders are a joy to be around, and really bring the atmosphere together. The beers are cheap, and the food is decent for bar food (I normally get the buffalo wrap or the steak bites). Mostly an older crowd, but everyone is there to have a good time and that’s what I always have! Can’t go wrong with a bucket of beer.“

“Anybody reading this, my mamaw was the barmaid there beginning in the 60s. Annie Ruth Ladd. They also lived above the bar for some time. My mother told me that she vividly remembers looking out the window and seeing the National guard going down Jefferson into Detroit. At that time, she was 9 years old. My mother grew up to work in the bar. Her name is Roseann or Rosie. I spent lots of my youth there, playing quarter machines. Rosie Also worked Square Deal. Y'all probably knew my papaw too his name was Jim Ray Boatwright and he was known in River Rouge as being one of the Town drunks lol God rest his soulCan't wait to stop in and reminisce!Also, if anybody knew my family or can share stories, please let me know. I went back to redeem them and my experience was totally different. I was helped and my order taker was very sweet. My food tasted AMAZING.!!!!!!!! Definitely happy I went back.
