The professionalism of our server, Angela, was superior. The staff, managed by Michelle, was professional and courteous! Whether you choose to order seafood or one of the delicious meat entrees, you’ll be so pleased!!!

Parking: There are about 20 parking spots, that are very close to the front of the restaurant, as well as the option of valet parking (most evenings). The “overflow” spots are conveniently located and nearby, as well.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are handicap spots up front and valet parking available most evenings. The doorways and pathways in the restaurant are ample to accommodate a wheelchair or walker.“

“Always great food, drinks and service! The atmosphere is clubby and upscale. This time I had the Hyde Park Chicken Sandwich and the others in our group had salmon or salad. Everything came out together. The hot food was piping hot. Our waiter was exceptional. The food was universally delicious…. We all had great meals! A huge bonus, the drinks were sooo good, with generous pours, served in beautiful glassware. This place is always a winner and we plan every visit to Somerset around a meal at J. Alexander’s!“

“Ordered a carry out for my wife that just had surgery! She also has a gluten and egg allergy, the staff was very helpful in determining the food was free of these allergens. BTW, the chicken fettuccine Alfredo was awesome and the noodles were some of the best we have had!

“Love this restaurant! We travel from Windsor Ontario to eat here because of the great food and drink. However the best part of Troy Yard House is the staff. Namely Sara who works the bar. She is simply amazing. I marvel at how she commands the bar yet encages with each of her customers. We have been here several times and attend based on Sar's schedule. We truly appreciate her as well the other staff who make this a GREAT place to be!“

“My wife and Enjoy the customer service every time I hate I don’t remember our waitress name she was awesome, she knew the menu, she came over to us every time on time, she was great! This is my wife’s favorite she love the Ribeyes well done, Ocean Prime never miss with her stakes. That olive oil truffle popcorn should Be sold in stores, I never had popcorn this good ever and it’s to live for!!!“

“We held our private event in the enclosed patio at Firebird in Troy. The patio was heated and decorated to look like a lodge. All of our guests felt like they were in a homey environment. The food and the service was impeccable. Our guests were so pleased at the attention to detail and the promptness of the serving staff. The event manager, Jenna, made the entire planning process easy and stress free. She helped us set up our buffet menu and was there day of assisting in decorating and making sure everything was in order. I would highly recommend hosting a private event here and plan to do so myself for future events!“

“My family has eaten here several times. Service has always been exceptional. You came to my rescue when our Thanksgiving plans fell through and my out of town guests needed a place to have dinner. “Our server, Diane, has been with NM for years and always is very attentive and helpful! Love the food and details this restaurant offers. It is like being at a high end hotel, but reasonable. Tablecloths and fabric napkins. The demitasse cups of consommé and house made popovers with strawberry butter are an amazing beginning! I ordered a Maurice salad with the best dressing, served on the side. The variety in the large menu offers salmon, chicken, tacos and much more....elegantly served. Several desserts offered too, though we did not want dessert. Loved my cappuccino too! Highly recommend this hidden away spot on the top floor of Neiman Marcus. Full bar.“

“Once you make it past the gauntlet of teens and kids selling packaged snacks at the door, the array of scents at the perfume counter, and shoppers out with their children, you can find on Nordstrom’s 3rd floor a cafe with a view of the other side of the shopping center and the skywalk. Service was good and so was the food, but things get hectic, loud, and slow with an increase of customers. Highly recommend the cheddar chive biscuit warmed.“
