“We needed to find a place to eat after my son's competition and this was right across the street. They had been wanting to go for some time now and it didn't disappoint. The atmosphere is fun and the service was very good, the waitress knew alot about the menu and was very helpful for us first timers. The food came out fast and was delicious. “Main Street has become our favorite place to eat in Romeo. The filet is out of this world and cooked perfectly, they did a better job than most high end places I have been to recently and the presentation is spot on. The soups are always amazing and the salads are my absolute favorite, I love how they chop them. The quality and portion fit the prices here. We have never had a bad meal. The tater tot appetizer and potstickers are two of my favorite appetizers. Last night the tater tots were a little over loaded with onions but still delicious. Our waitress we had last night is always the sweetest and very attentive, didn't catch her name but her grandma's recipe for their bread pudding is one of the desserts. Normally I take pictures of the food but had my phone away to enjoy a dinner with the kids.“

“I went to the one in Troy, for over a decade. Re: Rochester, I had some extraordinary chicken fajitas, pizza's is decent, pastas is okay, but more importantly, it's a rare place in Oakland county where you can have a variety of dishes and they're all pretty much down the pipe. Burgers are extremely good, and the staff is friendly with lots of smiles and good eye candy (cute staff), lots of TV's, and the lights aren't obnoxious, what more do you want?“
“I have been here a few times. The food is mostly good, but unfortunately there is a handful of items to avoid. I think itd be wise to make menu changes and focus on what they do well. “I actually had some time to myself in the afternoon on Easter and stopped here for a quick bite and drank. I was floored at how well everything ran on a busy holiday. The service was extremely friendly and all over any requests I had. The food and drinks were great and the restaurant just appeared to run like a well-oiled machine. Most restaurants are short staffed on major holidays, whereas Grand Tavern appeared to have it all figured out ahead of time.I had visited a couple times to watch NCAA tournament games and I've noticed that things here have really improved over the last couple months. Food orders come out quicker than ever and the staff is very attentive. The owners hired a new manager called Netty a couple months ago that I've met and had some friendly banter with, and she is absolutely brilliant at what she does. Extremely friendly and very service oriented. Whatever they're paying her is not enough.Obviously I'll continue to be a regular customer to Grand Tavern while it continues to impress.“
“Stopped in with 5 coworkers after other plans fell thru. Just wanted some decent food and cold drinks. We got so much more. The food was very good. The service was excellent. Hannah was amazing. When she found out it was my birthday she said was going to do something special for me. Her and the bartender came back with a platter of delicous cakes for the table complete with sparklers and happy birthday sign. Finished up with a round of shots and a beer for me, on the house. The group was disappointed our previous plans got canceled, but Hannah and the team made up for it. It made my bday night! My only regret is it's too far from home to be a regular stop. It was Saturday night and although there were only 4 tables occupied, it was more than she could handle. It took several minutes to get our drinks and the appetizer never came out unfortunately. The dinners were a sufficient size and not bad. The cod was moist & decent, but the "beer batter" was not as good as I had hoped. The fries were good though. Service was slower than we liked, but again, the waitress was friendly and apologized. All and all, an ok meal, in a good location with fair prices.“
