“On behalf of the Jewish War Veteran (JWV) Post 510, we would like to express our gratitude to Phil, owner of New York Bagel of West Bloomfield, for the hospitality of his team for allowing our Post Members to use his place for our annual Poppy Sale.
The entire staff at New York Bagel are to be commented on their superior customer service. Alicia, Teresa, Gunnar, Brett, Lilian,Thalia & Isabella, plus the others that worked the other days we were there. They could not do enough to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. And the customers that donated to our Poppy sale were just as wonderful.
Thank you again to everyone for allowing us the use of your property for our annual Poppy Sale.

“OG West Bloomfield staple. Some of the Best Baklawa aka “baklava”, you’ll experience in the state of Michigan. Sister location to the original + much bigger location in Dearborn. Highly recommend for delicious pastries, ice cream, and other sweet goodies.

I personally think the novelty of it isn’t that bad. Sure, it’s not for everyone. Easy solution…stop complaining and don’t frequent. Plenty of others will.

The coffee is not bad, but is mediocre. I found the service to be great. At the end of the day, service is the single most important aspect of any business. I mean, your product can’t suck, but even if it’s mediocre (edible or drinkable), the service will be remembered more.“

“This is the closest Biggby location to me and I’ve been coming here for years. Every time I’ve stopped in, I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my order to be ready. This is great, because I can come here when I’m on the go in between stops, even on a time crunch. The baristas always make my order just the way I like it and they are all so kind and friendly.“

“My favorite location. Staff knows who I am. They are always informative when I ask about the new drinks and food items. Always greeted when I come in. No matter how busy. Great awesome staff. The manager Allie totally rocks.

Parking: It's inside a plaza right down the street from the local high School and other very busy businesses. So it's always busy during the school time. But when the kids are on a break it's great. Wide open.

Kid-friendliness: There's always a mom there with her kids. Getting them cake pops. While they grab their fix.

“If you are a Kpop fan and love with the Korean culture then this is the place for you! It’s one of the few places in Michigan where we Kpop fans can gather and connect with each other! I was just there and the cafe allowed Kpop fans of ASTRO to do a vigil memorial for the death of Moonbin! I wanted to do something to say my goodbyes to the artist and I seriously appreciated that they provided that space for people to do that and other Kpop events! Plus the food is always very yummy too! ✌🏻😉💜🫰🏻🇰🇷“

“I loved the Detroit location but it's almost an hour drive away. They expanded to open on Orchard Lake Road near West Bloomfield/Keego. This location has all the same bakery goods, cafe setting, and throws in free parking. It's like having an authentic French bakery in my backyard. I am going to have to pace myself, everything is delicious but the croissants and coffee are excellent.“

“I hope the right people see this, I go here almost everyday for coffee, before the pandemic and I continue to go now. I have watched them struggle with employees come and go. I believe her name is Cheryl, she's normally at the window in the morning, she is always working hard, helping new people, and making sure people get their stuff as quickly as possible. I hope that the workers that have stuck around, working extra hours, and dealing with rude impatient customers are taken care of. Given raises, praise, and let known they are appreciated.
