“A very friendly bar that we have loved to go to for probably the last 10 12 years. The owner is a great gal and the clientele are always friendly. Schafers always feels like at at home bar. We have no problem driving from Portland Westphalia to have a cold beer or a drink it's certainly worth it. I have met so many wonderful people here over the years. We do not mind that they don't have food because we always run down to Diana's and get subs and Schafer's doesn't care if you eat them there.“

“Bowling, restaurant, full bar and a private room for events. We held our family Christmas party here, large room with circle tables and a dance floor. Everyone is helpful and we had a great evening and enjoyed a game of bowling after with our kids. Is a great place for a birthday party.“

“We aren’t from Portland but make the drive because we love the atmosphere. Crystal is amazing with kids and whenever we ask our two kids where they want to eat they go just to see her. The outdoor area overlooking the river is really nice too!“

“We stopped in while passing through town and we are so glad we did. The beer selection had something for everyone! We shared a flight and each beer was better than the last. The staff was fun, friendly, and knowledgeable, and the brewery itself was so laid back and had such a cool vibe. We ended up ordering a snack which was also amazing. Can’t recommend this brewery enough. We will make a point to visit next time we are nearby.“

“South Riley Tavern & Grill is definitely a diamond in the rough. This hole in the wall has some of the best food that I have tasted in a long time. I give it a 10/10 for food, service, and atmosphere. It is definitely my new go to place to eat!“

“There was One waitress inside later at night but she was amazing. This is located inside the flying J off of exit 81. Cinnamon crepes and sausage links were excellent. Hashbrowns on both plates were overcooked so a little work on that timing is needed. Very clean and seems safe for a truck stop. Well lit area around restaurant.“
