“Have gone to this place a few times within a few months and have loved it each time. Our first time, more notably, was met with an incredible experience in hospitality and service. The food was amazing, and (contrary to some people on here apparently) adequately portioned. The kind man who made our delicious drinks even brought us napkins and water cups without hesitation. “Have been living in the area for a few years and it is always hopping every time I drive by. Decided to stop there yesterday with my husband. They had an overwhelming selection to choose from. Almost too many options my husband said. They had flurries, ice cream, shakes, frozen yogurt, frozen drinks, frozen coffee, and even physical ice cream packages. They had so many flavors as well. I personally loved how many options they had. I got the frozen yogurt with salted caramel and my husband got strawberry shortcake flurry. There was actual strawberry shortcake in the flurry! They came quickly and the proportions were great. I can see why where are always busy. My hubby now says we should go there every Sunday. 😂 I recommend! You will never run out of things to try!“

“We had our wedding shower at Guernsey Restaurant last weekend & could not have asked for a better experience! We had 35 people and the waitresses were on top of everything the entire time. I’m not sure if this was planned or if she just did it, but one of the waitresses was almost entirely dedicated to me as the bride, making sure I was never without a drink, being there for anything that was needed, they were wonderful! The food was amazing and of course the ice cream is the best around, but the service was what made it truly special!“

“Tried this for the first time after the closing of press and scoop (sad). It is nice to have a local ice cream joint back.

The iced espresso was strong and fresh. Won’t be sleeping tonight! Love it.

The peanut butter overload hand scoop was delicious 11/10.

The vanilla shake was good but too runny, tasted a bit more plain than a rich flavor but definitely like true vanilla.

The pup cup was definitely good as the dog ate every single ounce of it.

Friendly, reasonably quick in the evening when we stopped, and hope to try some of the other flavors soon.“

“We took our toddlers here for ice cream tonight and had a wonderful experience. The staff was so kind, that alone will make this a favorite family outing place for us. The ice cream was delicious. My toddlers LOVED their Superman ice cream and the Nutella/kinder sundae I had was amazing. I love the details of the cafe: there are multiple areas for cute pictures. One seating area has sprinkles wall paper. Another area is entirely pink. My oldest son loved the comfy couch area to eat his ice cream. It is a very kid/family friendly cafe. We were told that the coffee section is opening soon, which I am very excited to hear. We will definitely come back soon.“

“Where Browndog really stands out is their ice cream. I think it’s the more popular half of their business. I’ve gone multiple times throughout the last decade or so and always liked some of the interesting flavors they’ve had. When they first opened they had a spicy chocolate flavor but I didn’t see it this most recent time.

This was my first time eating a meal at Browndog. I wouldn’t say it’s anything particularly special. The prices, flavor, and service are all pretty average.“

We have been coming here for years. Almost on an annual schedule.

Great service. Happy workers. Great food. They make all their food great. The cones are made perfectly. Really. Such dedication to making the cone perfect. Everyone is always happy coming here.

How can anyone not like ice cream.

The customer service was incredibly kind and generous from the start. I always judge a Chinese place by the crab rangoons and egg rolls first, and both were clearly homemade—fresh, crispy, and very well done. The real standout, though, was the orange chicken. Hands down the best I’ve ever had. Every bite was slightly different, perfectly balanced, and unbelievably comforting—the kind of food that feels like it was made with real care, almost like grandma’s cooking.“

I don’t usually leave reviews, but the Cold Stone in Commerce absolutely deserves some love. From the moment I walked in, the service was next-level. The staff was friendly, upbeat, and genuinely cared about making sure I left happy. You can feel the positive energy the second you walk through the door—they greet you with a smile, ask questions about your order, and make you feel like more than just a customer. Now let’s talk about the cake batter ice cream… WOW. This is hands down my favorite flavor, and Cold Stone has absolutely perfected it. It’s rich, smooth, and tastes exactly like fresh cake batter—but even better. I paired it with cookie dough and rainbow sprinkles, and it honestly felt like I was eating dessert in heaven. The texture is always perfect, and the way they mix in your toppings right on the cold stone is pure magic. I’ve been to other Cold Stone locations before, but this one in commerce takes the crown. Clean store, fast service, and they actually take the time to get your order just right. If you’re craving ice cream and want the best of the best, this is the only place to go. Don’t walk—RUN to this Cold Stone. You won’t be disappointed.“

“First time at this location. My usual go to is a Dark Chocolate ice cream with strawberries, Brownie bites, Hot Fudge with pecans. Ice cream was great but Service not so much. The guy who took my order was really impatient and rushed me through it though the store was basically empty.“

“Typically, we have a positive experience at the Culver’s in South Lyon. HOWEVER, after placing a simple drive thru order, we waited 25 minutes for the food. There were at least six other cars waiting for their orders as well. THEN, in checking the order before I drove away, I noticed the order was incomplete so went through the drive thru again. Took the manager two trips to our car BEFORE we had everything we ordered. For the delay and missing items, the manager shared two blue poker like chips and he said these are for your troubles today “boss” and walked away. It’ll be a while before we return!“

“One of the best drive-through experiences I’ve ever had. I pulled in after a long day of work, hungry as hell and honestly not sure what I wanted. The guy helping me immediately said, “Don’t worry, I got you,” walked me through everything, recommended the spicy fries with cherry peppers, and absolutely nailed it.

Quick, friendly, funny, and genuinely great service. He made the whole experience effortless. I literally sat in my car afterward thinking, “That might be the best drive-through experience I’ve ever had.”

Give this man some recognition. He was awesome.“
