“Olga's is the best restaurant in the state of Michigan...I will pillow fight anyone who disagrees with that. Olga's is a Michigan tradition and I have been eating at Olga's since I was 5 yrs old in 1991...32 years of Olgie Greatness in ma belly! You must get an Orange Cream Cooler when you go...its an Olga's Tradition! If you don't like oranges and cream, then you should get a lemonade because you are not worthy of an Orange Cream Cooler. Olga's prices in 1991 were as high as they are today, which means they were pre-adjusting to todays current inflation 32 years ago...did they know something? I love Olgies...I want it as I type this.Parking: 50 spots“
“I ordered chicken mendi takeout for a gathering that I had in my house. This has been the best mendi I have tried so far in Michigan. The manager hamzah was very helpful, kind, and reachable, the chef was amazing as well. 10/10, highly recommended. They give you first-class service.“
“Pita To Go is my favorite place to go for clean food. They do not use extra additives which is great for a person with allergies. It’s delicious, well priced, and of good quality. Fast and friendly service.Dietary restrictions: This is a “no itch, no burn” zone. Those with food allergies understand. This is safe food. No hidden additives.“
“My husband and I came here for the first time and the food was amazing! My husband is on a low sodium diet and they catered to his needs! We felt comfortable eating in this establishment... It's small but quaint! Gotta check them out!!❤️Dietary restrictions: They were accommodating my husband's low sodium diet“
“I love baba ghanoush with a fiery passion. This place had great baba ghanoush! Delicious lamb falling off the bone. And fantastic shawarma chicken AND beef! Don’t like the looks fool you, this place is rocking. The service was fantastic, all of the staff was incredibly friendly and made extra sure we were satisfied with our food. I WILL be coming back for sure.“
“Place was right by the masjid we went to pray at and we were hungry. The sister who helped us order recommended the chicken shawarma and the Kefta wrap. Both were amazing and freshly made to perfection. The wraps were toasted in a panini press - allowing the contents of the wrap to be transported in a a vehicle that is of optimal structural integrity - directly in to your mouth.I definitely recommend you come show this place some love - great people and great food.“
“We wanted to check out a place without looking at reviews or doing any research and we chose Alex's. Even with two toddlers, everyone was very accommodating and polite, always making sure plates were set where little hands can't throw them, taking away things as we needed, and giving us extra garlic and pita multiple times without even needing to be asked. The service was above top notch and the food was amazing. Definitely will be returning!Parking: Roughly 15 spots plus other parking lots near by.Kid-friendliness: Staff was very accommodating towards the littles we brought.“
“Z Shawarma is hands down my top pick for shawarma in the city so far. Their chicken shawarma sandwich is on a whole other level. The marination they use is simply divine, resulting in chicken that's tender, crispy, and bursting with flavor! And when you add in their garlic sauce and pickles, it's a winning combination that's hard to beat.“
“Get the lemon oregano chicken kabob... everything is delicious here; fattoush, lentil soup and fresh made juice bar. We just ate here again on 12-24-23 and had shish tawook our favorite, lamb kebob, imjadra, salad and the lamb vegetable soup.... everything was so delicious ?. We come here on the way to our flight and also on the return flight ✈️....Vegetarian options: I get the salad, lentil soup and imjadra dish. They have 3 other dishes to choose from that are also delicious ?I just ate here again on 4-14-24 and it was so good to have a delicious meal before heading to the airport. I also brought some boxes and packed half to eat on the plane ✈️... Great way to eat good food on the flight“
“This place has been hiding right in front of my face for the longest time and I finally stopped in and got shawarma and the only thing I'm upset about is that I didn't stop here earlier fresh veggies and seasoned to perfection definitely will be returning!“
“We're semi-regulars here, as there's limited local options. We always have good service from wait staff. The food is usually 'good', not great. Excellent coffee-not motor-oil dark like most diners. I personally love the encrusted French toast. The cost of the food is high, but not outrageous. The restrooms need some attention. Lastly, like many local diners are starting to do--expect to get the gouge for using your credit card to pay. Which for @ 80% of Americans, that's how we conduct sales transactions anymore. Annoying beyond description, dare I state the obvious?: the credit card processing cost is ALREADY built into the pricing structure for the food here. Hence the prices. Gouging the customers who use a credit card to pay for their meal with an additional 3-4% is outlandish. Why doesn't the owner offer a 'cash discount' of 3-4%, and forego the credit card fee instead? Overall, I recommend going here. I like it, but I don't love it. The personal service of several of the long-term waitresses alone is worth the visit.“
“Amazing Vegetarian food. Tried Falafal sandwiches and Hummus. Great price and taste. Much better sandwiches than a few middle eastern restaurants in Dearborn Warren Ave area. Highly recommend. Clean safe Little dine in area with amole parking. Nothing fancy but the food makes up for it.Vegetarian options: Multiple vegetarian options“
“My recent visit to Kaceli’s Family Restaurant was a delightful journey into the classic flavors of fish and chips. The restaurant's cozy and welcoming atmosphere set the perfect stage for a satisfying meal. I enjoyed fish and chips, and they were a delicious rendition of this timeless dish. The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, paired with golden fries that added to the overall satisfaction. Kaceli’s Family Restaurant's commitment to delivering quality and classic dishes was evident in every bite. The friendly service and the inviting ambiance added to the overall positive experience. Whether you're a fan of fish and chips or simply seeking a taste of comfort food, Kaceli’s Family Restaurant is a must-visit. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to savor more of their delicious offerings!“
“It's one of my favorite places to eat when I'm in Detroit, but I haven't been there in too long. Was almost like coming back, I'm home. It's been too long, there are some differences, some still same. But it's just as good, if not better, than I remember. Our waitress was amazing! All the staff I interacted with were.“
“Really good food and you get plenty. Smiling staff and hot and quick service. We drive up from the Toledo area and are always pleased with the food. Hummus is so smooth and fresh. Garlic is on point. Fresh cooked bread and cheese bread is good. Zesty Lamb Gaballah with hummus is so good. Lamb chops are good. No complaints.“
