“Place was right by the masjid we went to pray at and we were hungry.The sister who helped us order recommended the chicken shawarma and the Kefta wrap. Both were amazing and freshly made to perfection.The wraps were toasted in a panini press - allowing the contents of the wrap to be transported in a a vehicle that is of optimal structural integrity - directly in to your mouth.I definitely recommend you come show this place some love - great people and great food.“
“We wanted to check out a place without looking at reviews or doing any research and we chose Alex's. Even with two toddlers, everyone was very accommodating and polite, always making sure plates were set where little hands can't throw them, taking away things as we needed, and giving us extra garlic and pita multiple times without even needing to be asked. The service was above top notch and the food was amazing. The marination they use is simply divine, resulting in chicken that's tender, crispy, and bursting with flavor! We just ate here again on 12-24-23 and had shish tawook our favorite, lamb kebob, imjadra, salad and the lamb vegetable soup.... everything was so delicious ?. We come here on the way to our flight and also on the return flight ✈️....Vegetarian options: I get the salad, lentil soup and imjadra dish. They have 3 other dishes to choose from that are also delicious ?I just ate here again on 4-14-24 and it was so good to have a delicious meal before heading to the airport. “We're semi-regulars here, as there's limited local options. We always have good service from wait staff. The food is usually 'good', not great. Excellent coffee-not motor-oil dark like most diners. I personally love the encrusted French toast. The cost of the food is high, but not outrageous. The restrooms need some attention. Lastly, like many local diners are starting to do--expect to get the gouge for using your credit card to pay. Which for @ 80% of Americans, that's how we conduct sales transactions anymore. Annoying beyond description, dare I state the obvious?: the credit card processing cost is ALREADY built into the pricing structure for the food here. Hence the prices. Gouging the customers who use a credit card to pay for their meal with an additional 3-4% is outlandish. Why doesn't the owner offer a 'cash discount' of 3-4%, and forego the credit card fee instead? Overall, I recommend going here. I like it, but I don't love it. The personal service of several of the long-term waitresses alone is worth the visit.“
