“I went there for lunch and it was a pleasant experience. The service was exceptionally friendly. The type of service that you just don't get these days. The sandwich I ordered was delicious and packed with fresh, crisp veggies and freshly mashed avocado. I will definitely be going back. Highly recommended.“

“Had to wait to be seated and wait a while for the good as well, normally I would be upset but IT WAS DEFINITELY WORTH THE WAIT!Every single dish we ordered was a 10/10 you can tell the chef back there really takes their time because the food was very impressive! I had the steak frites the flavors were amazing and my daughter had the pizza which I highly recommend.Server was kind and generous especially with my hangry kids. The cherry on top was the live music playing. Would definitely recommend to check out.“

“We celebrated my daughter's graduation at Salt & Pepper yesterday and had a thoroughly wonderful time. It was the busiest day of the year and the host staff made it possible for us to get a table in a reasonable time. Our server was helpful and attentive, the food was fantastic. Every member of the party enjoyed their meal with no complaints - including burgers, carne asada, salads, and prime rib dip. It was a perfect day to sit out on their patio and we enjoyed the atmosphere and cool breeze. Cannot wait to return!!“

“Wonderful ice cream. It was a nice rainy day so almost no one was there. Only negative is the entrance is a little dangerous on a fast curve. Also there is a lot to take in for a first timer. Lots of names for things with descriptions so expect to be reading for a min to find what you want. Small and clean golf course next to the building. It's a nice steadily busy place in the warmer months for a reason it's a nice stop.“

“AMAZING. This was hands down the best food on my recent trip to Michigan. Despite going during the tulip festival, we were seated right away! The menu has a ton of vegetarian and gluten free offerings. I got a mushroom gyro, which was mouth-watering !!!! I tried my sister's farro bowl and that was warm and cozy good too! Very filling meals ! Our waitress was sweet and friendly. And that space was very cool too! I would DEFINITELY recommend !!“

Despite the crowd, we got seated in about 20 min.We ordered a Mediterranean skillet bowl and twilight French toast full size. The food was amazing- the skillet was healthy, nutritious and delicious. The texture of French toast was between toast and cake- very special and creamy.Recommended for someone who loves Sunday brunch “

“While in town visiting family at Thanksgiving, we visited the Kerstmarkt at the Civic Center. It was pretty cold, and before walking up 8th Street, we wanted to warm up and grab a quick bite. That's when we stumbled on this place.It is just east of the market, so it's a prime location to pick up a breakfast pastry or drink before shopping downtown. It had just opened, so we were the only customers. The place is pristine and bright and huge with several tables on one side.My mom and I shared a pecan sticky bun thing, and it was warm and delicious. Don't be fooled by the plate in the photo - it's actually a sturdy, reusable plate made to look like a paper plate. They also provide forks and cups for water.There were so many items to choose from, I'll have to go back and try some more.“

“We were in town and decided to give this a try, we've had dragons milk in a bottle before so figured we would try this place out. This is THE LARGEST brewery/ or restaurant I have ever been inside. It was clean, not busy, but the weather was beautiful outside so we sat on the patio. The locals were very kind and chatty. The elote dip was bomb- rich with that cream cheese- who could resist- we couldn't we ate the entire thing although it was a large portion. In the flight I got a cherry limeade, kombucha, smores dragon milk 11%-it's hot, and a floralish beer. I didn't love any of them really, but I think I finished the cherry lime and kombucha first. The smores dragon milk burned my throat- I can't handle that high of abv. If I came back it would be for the dip.“

“We've ordered pizza from here over the years and it has never disappointed. The deep dish pizzas are worth the extra wait! Be sure to plan ahead when ordering. We usually get it to go as it usually works better for us. Seating can be limited but is expanded in the summer. Great pizza in downtown Holland!“

“In love with this restaurant and the owner. She is so sweet and I always get the best service and the food is amazing. She has gluten free options and vegan options (also regular options for non vegans). I come here as much as I can with my family because of the service and the gluten free options they have. Also the plants and the smell of coffee is amazing so I would come here to study and eat everyday if I could. 10/10 recommend for anyone!“

“4.8 starsDelicious frozen treat?this was paid by weight so you could get a bit of everything. I mixed pistachio gelato with raspberry melon frozen yogurt. I didn’t taste strong pistachio flavor in gelato but the texture was very smooth. Raspberry watermelon was sour and sweet so I liked it better.There was a small outdoor area where you can enjoy the treat with some sunshine and breeze. So recommended you get one sweet treat when visiting downtown Holland.“

I heard about the restaurant through co-workers, and when I finally made it, I was not disappointed.The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly and the food is delicious. I typically come for lunch as I work close by. First time at Mizu, I had a ramen bowl for lunch. It was absolutely massive. I was unable to finish it, but it was so good that I actually forced myself to clear the bowl. I've also had the Hot Stone Bibimbap, which is currently my favorite dish.I recently came for dinner with my husband and son and it was worth the 35 minute drive. My husband had the bibimbap with tofu, I had the spicy, soft tofu stew, and my son had the teriyaki chicken and steamed dumplings. My husband is picky and when we finished, he said - "we found a new spot". So I'm guessing he enjoyed his meal.As I type this, all I can think about is how I should have made the 35 - ish minute drive, instead of eat at home.I did forget to mention, that sushi is very popular here. I have not had it as I'm trying to go through the hot dishes first, but during dinner, the sushi boat seemed to be very very popular.Vegetarian options: Many dishes allow you to choose your protein. Tofu is on the list.Parking: It's in downtown Holland, the area in general is known for how difficult it is to find parking. There are spots on the street as well as parking lots behind the buildings. You just have to be patient or time your meal accordingly.“

“Stopped here on a roadtrip up through Michigan and stopped AGAIN on our way back because it was so good. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful even during busy spurts. Perhaps the best chocolate pecan pie I've ever had. Apple cider donuts were perfect- not too sweet. Cider was refreshing on a hot day. The sandwiches were fantastic and the chips they came with were tasty, too!“

Get a dessert while you're at it.The inside is a bit odd and strangely laid out but there's lots of seating. The staff are super friendly. There's a large parking lot. I think the place is well priced. I would eat this multiple times a week if I lived in the area.“
