The beef is seasoned perfectly, but the bread is really what sets it apart. it's kind of like a garlic bread without all the garlic and butter, yet it is perfect! We're from St. Louis and can never find good BBQ away from home (except Texas). I'm so glad we found this place. Truly excellent flavors, perfectly cooked meats. And the sides are to die for.
Not to mention it being in a location that's very worth visiting.

“one of my favorite places in Minnesota! the surf and turf (Kalbi + tuna poke) was absolutely to die for, with so much Kalbi for the price! even the macaroni salad on the side was amazing.

“My 94 year-old “boyfriend” and I eat lunch at the Coon Rapids Texas Roadhouse almost every Sunday. is a tradition. We both enjoy – – especially especially if we get Dan as our server. He spoils us rotten, and his attention to detail is beyond measure. As my friend says every week, “we have never gotten a bad meal here.““

“BBQ and Hotpot: I went here when they first opened, hotpot was alright. Broth was nothing too special. Tasted like instant package. Bbq was good and flavorful. Meet quality was meh. For the price point and quality of meet, my friends and I chose not to come back. Unsure if it has improved now.
Service: good and friendly
Bun Rieu: The broth was good and tasted authentic. However, the noodles broke apart a lot. It was a great portion for $9.99 on a Sunday, and I love that there’s no extra charge for asking for extra broth. Unfortunately, the blood jelly had no flavor. Its texture was very unusual; it seemed like they added extra gelatin to the mix, resulting in an inauthentic texture for the blood jelly.
Mochinut: havent had the chance to try, but they rotate flavors each day. They look delicious though. Will definitely come back to try“

“Had been waiting for this location to open back up. This is not a traditional setup but is an amazing concept. It is setup like a cafeteria. First you pick box, platter, or bowl then select your meat, before moving to side selection, and finally paying. Everything is boxed in front of you. While the menu choices are paired down, there is still a great selection of meats, sides, and desserts. I don't know if you could have dessert as a side option at a regular Famous Dave's but this one does allow that, which is a nice choice if you want a meat, side, and dessert. As far as prices, they are comparable. Without a drink, you could spend $10-20 a person. Potions sizes are good and for things like the ribs, you can pick 4, 6, or 12 sections. This location also still has the Family Feasts, which is a great option when you want to feed a few people.“
