“I stopped in today because books are my jam and I was so pleasantly surprised. The shop is so lovely and clean. It has a beautiful atmosphere! I spent half an hour chatting it up with the owner who is a lovely human and we exchanged biz cards and I signed up to volunteer for story time. The best is that the book I finally decided on was the one recommended by the owner after she got to know me. It's a safe space and I highly recommend you go there today to get your book fix!“
“We ordered their sampler platter, which was said to be enough for two. It is a good size to try their food, but not enough to be fully full. We also had the Mac bites. Overall, the food was good and flavorful. The staff was helpful on the phone with questions regarding their menu. The restaurant itself was small. There were six tables that seated 2-4 people. Overall, a good place to get wings, ribs, and other BBQ sides locally.“
“I've been here multiple times throughout my life, the bathrooms are always clean and the food is amazing. I got a sirloin, and got catfish to go after our meal. Our servers were amazing, and ontop of everything despite having such a big group of people.The steak was cooked perfectly to my request, and the fried catfish I ate as leftovers was even more amazing, almost like it melts in the mouth. Delicious, will always come here if I'm craving steak.Parking: The whole first row is for handicapped users, which is an amazing design in comparison to other places. Typically you'll see only 2-4 spots in every other space, but the whole row infront of the front door is right there :))“
“We came here tonight for my dad's 69th birthday. We really enjoyed the food and the service. The pork ribs and wings were especially great, and our server was awesome. The fat cap on the pork rips gave a solid bacon vibe, and they were still very juicy. I will definitely be returning.“
“Hmmm… pretty good. Ribfest offerings were aplenty and the pricing was quite fair. I really liked the mac n chz. However the ribs themselves were very small and therefore dry. The pickled things on the side were an absolute withered joke. Got all three sauces and they all tasted the same (seriously? No white BBQ??) I much prefer the juicy ribs from Boomin. But Boomin and Animales both used frozen corn in their elote salads. Serious question, do you guys think the public is braindead? My first bite was literally still-thawing corn with Parmesan flavor. “My group of 3 stop in before seeing a show last night. We all got they royal burger, which I really liked, i loved the fact the chips they came with were tortilla chips. I really like tortilla chips.The fried cheese curds were really good too.The did forget to bring us our cheese curds, but brought them out right away when we brought it to their attention.Drink wise, I got a cider (I don't like beer personally) which was from number twelve next door. It was as I expected, I liked it. Wasn't too dry or too sweet.My friend got the midas and he said it wasn't bad, but not really his favorite. My sister in law got bi-frost bridge, which she did like a lot.Service was pretty good, the two guys behind the bar were really nice and helpful.I liked the interior set up, I tend to like open floor concepts. “I was so hungry that I forgot to take a picture of the Swiss and mushroom burger that I ordered. It is very much male-centered here so if you don't mind that, come on thru. They have a lot of choices for fries, which is always exciting. We got the pretzel with the beer cheese and I don't know how I feel about the sauce. The pretzel was delicious though. “I travel, so much, but i felt i should post. My parents and I have been patronizing this place for "decades." We used to snowmobile to it back in the day.It is locationed in the middle of a very nice urban area and off the interstate. It's location is not only very unique, but I think a gold mine or hidden gem as you will not find a establishment like this hardly ever. I encourage viewers to go to their website.Their broasted chicken IS unbeatable and is renowned throughout the city. Just ask.This place is wonderful as they offer "good music live bands" on Friday and Saturday nights at 9pm.Nice large patio area with a playground and 2 volleyball courts.Matt was my server tonight, and as usual/expected...Wonderful!“
“I tried the beef fat noodle dish. The crunchy noodles are so good, and then they soak up the savory sauce. I will be craving this dish for some time. Service was excellent, place was clean. The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating was its spendy. $18 for lunch.Parking: If it’s busy, you can park in the next lot.“
