“We had a dinner party for 33 people in this wonderful place on Saturday night celebrating the marriage of my son and his new bride. The manager Stephanie was so wonderful to work with knowing we would be taking up almost half the restaurant. I highly recommend this place.“

“My mom and I stopped in for lunch and we were greeted immediately and chose a table to sit at. I chose their spiciest burger (the name escapes me) and my mom chose the pepperoni pizza. Both were delicious, but if you don't like things too spicy, ask them to put the spicy sauce on the side for your burger. It was a lot of heat, but still so good! Atmosphere was calm and relatively quiet as there were only a few customers at the bar and surrounding tables during our visit. Our server was also bartending, and he was very attentive. I'd definitely stop back in whenever I happen to be on that side of the cities!“

Great service from the host, server, and manager.
Food came out quickly and was prepared as requested. The tremendous 12 was still as good as I remembered.

“Just found this gem. First thing we noticed was the great service at the bar; always good but Noah is exceptional, he is super fast and very nice. No matter how busy. He sees you the minute you sit and is there to get your order asap! Very fast, friendly and professional. Thankyou Noah :) And the food…LOVE IT. Haven’t had a lot of items but the pasta w chicken is the best. It has a special tasty. I keep saying I will try something else but get that every time. Wings and potstickers are excellent also. Variety of sauces YUM. Service has been on the spot every time. Holly was our server a couple times and she is a pro….really appreciate her and always glad she’s our server if possible. “This place is legit top restaurants in msp, why??? Because they have talent and imagination. Any one can buy great ingredients and high end products, but can you make sidewalk grass , spruce pine , lingcod , wildrice and strawberry taste good ?(Not a real dish just something off top of my head) That's talented and worth talking about , the folks here have talent. “I wanted to take a moment to shout out an amazing restuarant located in minneapolis called Nolos Kitchen & Bar! As most of you know by now my girls and I had planned to fly out to california for my bachelorette party and winded up with a cancelled flight first thing in the morning at 4am thanks to microsoft. after we arrived to the airport and stood in line for 4 hours we were told that the next flight wasn’t available for another 24hours at 6 am the next day. We decided to go get breakfast while we figured out our next move and what we were supposed to do for the next 24 hours. We arrived to Nolos in pretty low spirits but that was quickly turned around when we met our waitress. Not only was the food PHENOMENAL, but they went as far as to make us my favorite cocktail (which wasn’t even on the menu!) As we sat and enjoyed our breakfast we talked about where we should go/what we should do/ and about how tired we were because we were only running on a couple of hours of sleep. We were at the point of even contemplating piling back into the car to take a nap when our sweetheart of a waitress approached us and informed us that they had a basement bar that didn’t open until 5 pm that night. She proceeded to tell us that since the basement bar didn’t open till later the owner offered us their full basement as a safe haven for the day for us to get some sleep/ hang out in until we were ready for our next move. The basement had a lounge room for all my girls to pile in and get a few hours of sleep as well as whenever we wanted a drink or snack we could go right up stairs and order as needed. AS WELL as it was fully stocked with arcade games and a photo booth to keep us occupied.Ontop of everything they even covered 50% of our food and drink tabs😭 Nolo’s genuinely saved us that day- and i could never be more thankful that we walked into that restaurant that morning. We were met with nothing but kindess and generosity. If you want to go somewhere with kind people , AMAZING food, fun cocktails , and overall an amazing atmosphere I would HIGHLY reccomend Nolos Kitchen & Bar in minneapolis. I promise you won’t be dissapointed ! Thank you NOLO's Kitchen staff for going above and beyond !!!!“

“I was in town at an educational event and a friend recommended we meet here for dinner. Well it was so close to my hotel that and the menu looked amazing so I went for breakfast after landing. I am sad I only had time to eat here twice. Breakfast I sat alone at the bar and there was live music - so great. The bartender Ness gave me great recommendations and I’ve never had a better breakfast in my life. Huevos Rancheros, Virgin Bloody Mary, and a side Lemon Ricotta pancake (thanks Ness, I DEF needed to try it) Dinner time I was still full from breakfast (even though I couldn’t eat it all - portions were great) so our server Adam helped me decide which dessert I would have. The caramel pecan roll was out of this world! The atmosphere was top notch, love that it’s employee owned and just had such a great, uplifting and cool vibe. I told my daughter this morning that if I ever came across a dirt cheap flight to Minneapolis- I’d go JUST to eat here again. Flawless….“

“We come here frequently with a large group of 10-15 people. On multiple occasions we’ve had Lexi as a server and I can’t say enough good things about her. She is so incredibly kind and does an absolutely fantastic job taking care of our group. Her personality is bubbly and vibrant. She has the service down to a science. Our drinks stay full. Our food is out all together, hot, and delivered in a timely manner. She gets all our bills taken care of smoothly. We’ve taken our group to other restaurants in the area and they seem visibly and audibly annoyed by us being there. I get it, we’re a big group at the end of the night. It can’t be easy. But Lexi makes us feel so welcome. She is an incredible asset to the team at The Lowry. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you to The Lowry and a huge thank you to Lexi!“

“It's an all-around charming place for breakfast. They seemed a little short-staffed, but our server was good. My friend had the corned beef hash, and I had the falafel. The falafel was delicious, with a tzatziki that was really great. I got the fries on the side, which were crisp and tasty. Happily, they had decaf already brewed. Outdoor seating would have been perfect except for some friendly wasps. We opted for an indoor table. Would love to come back here for dinner sometime.“

“Everything about this place was a delight! It was a beautiful day so we sat outside on the patio, but the inside has a really nice vibe. The food was delicious, with lots of gluten free and vegan options. I had the oatmeal latte and it was tasty with just the right amount of flavoring that still allowed the espresso to shine through. We were there for breakfast so can't speak to the dinner menu, but the quiche was fantastic!

They also have a free, shaded parking lot.“
