“My favorite restaurant! The Oscar walleye is to die for!“

“Dinner was FANTASTIC!! We had a lovely meal and had an amazing server - shout out to Lauren. She even put in the kids meals as appetizers to come out first, without us asking, which was amazing. I highly recommend the salmon & au gratin potatoes. We used to come here all the time when we lived just down the street, but we moved across the cities and haven’t been back in a while. It was a great experience and we’ll definitely make the drive to come back. Atmosphere was beautiful; the warm lights inside are so cheery.“

“I am gluten intolerant. I accidentally ordered a dish that contained gravy. The staff not only happily had me order a different dish but they were also kind enough to remove the cost of the plate! “Celebrated 2 Birthday’s and the food was fabulous. Started with a Blooming Onion which was very good. Shrimp skewers on seasoned rice was excellent along with fresh green broccoli and a salad which I took home. Portions are big. Enough for a second meal.And a complimentary ice cream sundae. Fresh made rolls were excellent as well. Service was superb. Fun place to celebrate any occasion The other 3 people at our table enjoyed the shrimp, 6 oz filet and salmon. Will definitely be returning. Very attentive staff!“

“We had a reservation for dinner for 6:15pm. Didn’t have to wait much longer upon arriving to be seated which was nice considering we had three hungry children with us. Our waitress was very attentive. The menu was beautiful and had many great choices to choose from, ranging from affordable eating to on the higher end. Because our friends were treating us for dinner, we went somewhere in the middle and three of us in my family, ordered three French dips. When it came out, mine was just meh. The only thing that made it taste good was the au jus. I took the meat off the bun and dipped it in the au jus (I’m doing low carb) but honestly, I was still insanely hungry after we ate since there was way more bun than meat on the sandwich. The meat was overcooked and had I ordered an actual prime rib, it would have been rare or medium rare, whereas the meat here was more like medium well… the calamari was good. However, some pieces I had were pieces of breading with nothing in it.“

“I wanted to come here after a long time since my last visit. Mostly because I was eager to have their sea scallops Benedict again, which has always seemed like such a unique yet fitting dish. We came here on a Friday night over the holidays, without a reservation, hoping to get a spot at the bar.

Even though they were super busy, it was very easy getting a table because the host let us know about first come first serve tables in the bar. But that wasn’t the only great service, since our server, Keith, was super informative, helpful, and personable. Brian also got every dish out of the way as soon as we were done.

Just about everything we ordered was delicious and well worth the visit. The food also came out fast. The only thing we didn’t finish or take home was the calamari. With everything being so well executed, I was hoping the calamari would follow suit, but I would skip it in the future.

I still think they should be in the conversation for best steakhouse in the twin cities.

“We had fried eggs with applewood bacon, crispy hashbrowns and they substituted a mixed green salad for the English muffin. It was delicious and appreciate the gluten free substitution.

Surprisingly delicious fresh orange juice! very good lattes and exceptional service.
