“I haven't been here for years, and it's as good as I remember. Great atmosphere, good food at a fair price, and friendly service. I enjoy sitting out on the patio overlooking the lake. The service is usually a little slower out of the patio, but the views and beautiful weather can make it worth it. We tried a variety of things, and everyone enjoyed their meal.

They have a good amount of parking and clean bathrooms. The dock and kids play area are a nice touch for families. We saw the fire pit out of the patio also, which would be really enjoyable in the evenings. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area.“

“Penny's Diner is supposed to be a 24/7 restaurant open to the public according to it's advertising. Lately Penny's Diner in Glenwood MN has been turning customers away after 9 PM. I don't believe this is a very good business practice and has lost Penny's diner 3 customers and probably more that have not left reviews. This used to be a good place for good food late at night.“

“What a fun and relaxing restaurant experience . Also we noticed a boat docked belonging to the restaurant. The boat looked like it was rented for a birthday party. We sat outside on tables and the place was very busy inside but not that many people outside. There are lots of different rooms and it's a large restaurant. It's a casual place and menu not super fancy either. We had a very large bacon cheeseburger pizza. The crust tasted very good and many good toppings, bacon, onions and pickles. The waitress was very nice and worked quickly though the place was busy.“

“Brotherhood MC stopped at the Muddy Boot for a food on our annual Vets run. They put on a pizza buffet that everyone enjoyed greatly. Fast friendly service and more than welcoming for our group of almost 70 riders. It definitely was a hit with the riders thanks again!“

“We hadn’t been here couple years but the new owners have done wonderful job remodeling inside and out. We were very impressed with food and service . We will be back more often again .“
