“Amian has always been good but under their new ownership has gotten even better. The quality of the dishes is superb, the portions are very large, and really reasonable prices. The American Chinese dishes are great and surprisingly they have a very good pad thai. Looking forward to trying more dishes and happy to have them so close!“

“A absolute gem of a restaurant in White Bear Lake. In town visiting family & so enjoyed our first time here last night. Very cool & well designed with a great vibe, beautiful bar area where you can comfortably dine also. Which is aso the main diningroom with views of the kitchen & Chefs creations. “I thought i would give this a try as I was in the area on a Friday night. The casino is small but offers quite a bit of card games for those who enjoy poker, black jack, pai gao and several others. When you first walk in, the bar area and restaurant greet you, I grabbed a seat at the bar and was quickly offered a water and menu. I ordered a club sandwich and fries($10), my sandwich arrived pretty quickly and was delicious. the club is large and filling, and the fries were tasty. If you are looking for a good value in the Forest Lake area, it's hard to pass up Trout Air Tavern but it does come with whole Casino vibe.“

“I just have to share my experience at The Doghouse Bar & Grill! I visited back in November to watch The HYPE, and wow, what an amazing venue. It was hands down one of the best spots I’ve been to, and I can’t thank the staff enough for making it such a memorable time. I was in town celebrating my last week up north before heading off to the National American Miss nationals, and let me tell you, being there was a huge stress reliever during a time that’s normally pretty hectic for me. Nationals can be a lot to manage, and being at The Doghouse helped take my mind off the nerves and truly enjoy the moment. From the moment I walked in, the staff and everyone around made me feel so welcomed. There’s something about a place that has a warm, friendly atmosphere, and The Doghouse absolutely has that. It’s not just about the great food, drinks, and entertainment—it’s about the people too. They were all incredibly kind and made my experience that much better. It’s definitely a spot that holds a special place in my heart now! As Miss Wisconsin Covergirl, I’m thrilled to be back in April. Note to other patrons:
Bringing a large group to breakfast on the busiest day of the week? Call ahead and reserve a table. Panicking the high school age hostess because you brought a group of 11, which was shortly followed by a group of 6, to a popular busy breakfast place and didn’t plan ahead… not their fault. Being seated after 1-top and 2-tops… normal. They only have so many big tables. Don’t flip out at the young girl trying to find you a table because someone eating by themselves was seated before your entire group had a free table. Accept YOUR bad planning and wait til they can accommodate you.
