“We recently got married (October 2024) and Lake Elmo Inn catererd our wedding. It was absolutely AMAZING! We had the prime rib carving station and the walleye as well as the duck soup and salad. Our guests are still talking about the food. We decided to upgrade to the "LEI Experience" which means each of your guests get a warm hand towel, an intermezzo sorbet, and a chocolate covered strawberry!!! We were over the moon with the service on the night of the wedding and all our communication with LEI throughout the process. Special shoutout to Kayla G. who was the most patient, professional, and kind event manager! She answered every single one of my (many) questions and she did so with a smile! On the night of the wedding, we were SO impressed with how fast the servers were able to get to each of our guest tables and keep the flow going. It was seamless, seriously. We cannot recommend Lake Elmo Inn Catering enough. They've total pro's and just know that you'll be in good hands. “The other night we were headed to a friend‘s house and were in need of some dessert to bring along. My husband and I didn’t realize that Saint Croix Baking Company closed at 5 PM and it was already nearly 4:50 as we were making our way to the shop. I called and spoke with a woman named Olivia. She could not have been more helpful or delightful to speak with. She was more than happy to assist us with getting some desserts and said she would be around a little bit after close, wrapping things up at the shop and not to worry about arriving after 5 PM. She had our order boxed up and met us at the door when we arrived a few minutes after close. Good customer service is so hard to find these days! Olivia was not only friendly, she seemed genuinely excited to help us and wasn’t put out by our last-minute request whatsoever. Wonderful job, Olivia! “We had a party of six and it was a great evening. The food was top notch and the service was some of the best we ever had. We ate in Fine Dining but there are other venues at the Atom House. We were there on 2/28, not the busiest time for a restaurant located on the St Croix but for a celebratory occasion it was perfect.“

“We are by no means regulars, but my husband and I always stop when we make our way from the Twin Cities to Hudson - it’s a perfect date-night spot with pages of incredible cocktails. Tonight however, we stopped in as a family with our kiddos and parents, and were nervous as we weren’t sure how things would go with a toddler and a baby. “Usually good experience unless its packed. It gets a little confusing then. The smaller cookies are better to me because they tend to be a little more on the done side. If you enjoy slightly under cooked cookies you'd like the bigger size. They are pricy though so I only go once in a while.“

We came in while exploring our pub pass locations both this and last year and they don't disappoint! It's a nice area with a bit of a lake view from inside. Outside seating with games and stuff.
The passion fruit seltzer was amazingly flavorful and the pizza (we got the combo) was pricey but good. Nice and crispy with a good amount of toppings and cheese. Had a lovely time!“

Being only a hop, skip, & a jump away certainly makes it convenient, but convenience alone doesn’t make a place a favorite. It’s the atmosphere, the food, the drinks, the people, and that comfortable neighborhood feeling that makes Wildwood special. There’s something to be said for having a place close to home where you can walk through the door, settle in, and simply enjoy each other’s company.

We have spent enough time here that Wildwood has quietly become part of our little corner of the world—and that means something to us.

My heart sank bc that day everything was going wrong with all the door dash orders I had. Long story but props to that guy for accommodating to the order and he offered me a small ice cream dish. He’s a real one and should keep him around/ raise.“

“There are very few restaurants that I really want eat at regularly, but Mississippi Pub is one of those. The consistency of the menu is part of that… I know that the wings will be crispy and hot. I know that the brunch items will be savory and plentiful. But the atmosphere is the other. This is NOT fast food! Come to enjoy a cocktail (or an excellent mocktail), the view of the river, and leisurely enjoy the experience. If you’re in a hurry, I’m sure there’s a fast food restaurant you can choose instead 😂“
