“Traveling through area and craving a burger. Not much else around so I thought I'd give Longhorns a try. Ordering process was super simple, food was ready in 10 minutes, but it was after the dinner rush. Driving up to the place definitely gives you that small town feel, same when you first walk in. Everyone inside was having a good time, and seemed super friendly. I got the Tex Mex burger with fries. Jalapeños on burger gave it a good kick, fries were hot and crispy. If you are looking for a very casual, tasty meal. This place is for you.“

“First time there and we got the Colossal Pretzel and a crispy chicken sandwich. The chicken was crispy and juicy and the pretzel was amazing. Good food good atmosphere. Looking forward to our next visit and would definitely recommend if you are in the area.“

“We chose to have our rehearsal dinner for our wedding at Hillcrest and we truly enjoyed having their party room as a space to celebrate and enjoy dinner together before the big day. They were super helpful with lots of delicious food options to choose from and the food was really tasty to fill us up after rehearsal. They were also great to allow me to stop by earlier in the day to drop off some personal items that I wanted to use as a surprise for our guests that night at the dinner and allowing me to come early for that helped me feel prepared for the surprise and super excited for it too. Thank you for a delicious dinner and for taking great care of us and our family and friends. I highly recommend you check them out for breakfast too or your next party needs!“

“V's is a great little place in Winsted (they also have a location in Darwin, though I haven't been to that location). The owner is a very accommodating lady and works hard to have a great place for people to dine. There is not too much parking as it's all street parking, but it's not too far to walk if you need to park on the street. There is a small gravel lot in the back. When you walk in, you are greeting with friendly staff (give them a break if it's busy) and are seated quickly assuming the not overly large dining room isn't full. During the nicer months, there is some outdoor seating. The setting is a comfortable, country diner with nice images of local barns. Their specialty is broasted chicken which is quite good. Various other comfort food dishes are on the menu as well as burgers and such. Shakes and various desserts are available too. A nice little place to check out if in the area.“

“Good atmosphere, great food but very loud and staff isn't great. We stopped In on a Friday night after the dinner rush. Wait staff walked by our table several times with No acknowledgement. I finally got up and went and got menus for us. Finally a server stopped to grab drink orders. My dates order was a tall that came in a glass not much bigger than juice size. I ordered a Bloody Mary that was barely pink. It was spicy (great!) but was like vodka and water with olives. I sent it back for mixer or tomato juice. No silverware, no napkins. We had to ask for both. Our food was good. Taco salad, flat bread pizza- both excellent. The lasagna is outstanding. I've never really had anything bad here, but the service is often mediocre at best.“

“I've driven by this place for years and have never tried it. We finally got a chance to try it and we're pleasantly surprised. It's a nice diner with friendly staff and some unique spins on food. Good fresh food at a fair price. I couldn't decide if I wanted breakfast food or their beef commercial that they say people come far and wide for. Then I saw the Loaded Breakfast Commercial. It wasn't very photogenic, but it was tasty! Definitely come hungry if you're going to try this. Both meals were good size. The pancakes are the kids order.We'll remember to stop on our way through in the future.“
