“We were here for dinner over the weekend and everything about this place was phenomenal we tried multiple things off of the to share or not portion of the menu and loved every bit of it. The whole grilled fish our waitress mentioned rotates depending on what is available fresh and it was cooked to Perfection and probably our favorite thing all weekend. The cocktail menu is unique and everything that we had the opportunity to try was delicious I highly recommend doing the cocktail flight to anybody who doesn't have a favorite spirit. Staff was incredibly friendly and knew what they were talking about if you had questions. To those looking at going here reservations are a must!!!! Great atmosphere as well“

“We were in town from Duluth for a family gathering and were so grateful to have found this place! The heated outdoor space and attention to dog detail was amazing. It was also so festively decorated. The burgers were delicious and our dog Hank was in pup paradise with his own chicken and rice pup meal and allllll the pets. Our server Walt provided top notch service and was so genuinely enjoyable, kind and attentive. Lori also deserves a shout out for all the love and pets she gave Hank. Made his day. We will definitely be back! (Hank clearly licked his bowl clean and then kept trying to go back inside when we were trying to leave 😆)“

“So happy to see Dark Horse open and vibrant again! We couldn’t choose what to get, so we ordered an extra entree so we didn’t miss out. The chicken sandwich is a must, the mushroom burger was the perfect comfort food, and the meatballs/pasta was the perfect entree to make sure we had leftovers. If you like a creamy Caesar dressing, you’re going to LOVE that as well.

Very cool & well designed with a great vibe, beautiful bar area where you can comfortably dine also. Which is aso the main diningroom with views of the kitchen & Chefs creations. Ive been getting this corn on a cob ladt 40 plus years and so greatful for tjus option at the fair.
Only thing I can think of for improvement is to offer outside the fair and in winter months/not just late summer“

“It's an all-around charming place for breakfast. They seemed a little short-staffed, but our server was good. My friend had the corned beef hash, and I had the falafel. The falafel was delicious, with a tzatziki that was really great. I got the fries on the side, which were crisp and tasty. Happily, they had decaf already brewed. Outdoor seating would have been perfect except for some friendly wasps. We opted for an indoor table. Would love to come back here for dinner sometime.“

“I was staying in the University of Minnesota and this place was a life saver when I did not want to eat in the dining hall. Their falafel sandwich was genuinely some of the best falafel I have ever had and their fries were undoubtedly the best fries I have ever had. The service was super quick and we got our food in under 10 minutes consistently. The staff was super friendly and the restaurant had a great atmosphere to it. Would strongly recommend if you are in the area!“
