“So I have drove by here at least 100 times in the last 2-3 months. I have wondered, I have mentioned it to the boyfriend, and I always kept going cause they looked so busy. Tonight we stopped!! It was so worth it, I thought I had ordered something other than what I got, (I did order what I got) but they offered to get me what I wanted to order, I'm so glad I said no I will eat this, (the Carnita Torta) it was amazing and so filling. I can not wait to try something else. Let me mention as well it was within an hour of closing and we were welcomed in as if they just opened. (That is so impressive these days.) Everyone was so kind and welcoming. The price was right, the food was amazing, and the service was so welcoming I felt like I had been going there for years, come to find out they just opened this past May 2022. Panchos really reminded me of a place I went to while in Cabo... Keep up the great work. We will be back sooner than you think cause they are open for breakfast too. If you haven't tried Panchos yet, stop what you are doing and go! Go for Breackfast, lunch or dinner! You will not be disappointed.“

“Excellent food and service! We ordered torta de pollo (chicken sandwich) and veggie burrito, both were delicious. Javier, the boss (el patron), took the time to chat with us. He told us they have a variety of original house salsas with different degrees of heat to choose from, we tried 2 and they were both very tasty. Everything had a true Mexican flavor! Very clean, it was full of Mexican and Latinamerican customers on a Sunday afternoon. It is a small restaurant inside a supermaket with a great team and genuine Mexican food. “Finding a late-night taco option for our wedding was way harder than I expected! After months of calls and emails with tons of taco trucks and taco bars, we finally found Lulu’s Salsa—and they ended up being an amazing choice!

I have Celiac disease, so finding someone who could accommodate gluten-free needs was a top priority. Lulu’s Salsa worked with us to make sure everything was safe for me to eat, which I so appreciated.

I stopped by one day after work to try some tacos, planning to just grab one chicken and one beef taco to share with my husband. While I was there, I saw a birria quesadilla on the menu and decided to grab that too. Lulu’s Salsa actually covered the tacos as a trial, which was such a thoughtful gesture! We also got to sample all their salsas—everything was absolutely delicious. Truly 10/10 tacos!

For our wedding, we went with ground beef and shredded chicken tacos (with all the toppings included), plus trays of Spanish rice, chips, and guacamole. We ordered 150 tacos total, and the pricing was incredible—all of that for under $700! Every other vendor we got quotes from was between $900 and $1,600, so this was such a win for us.

The only hiccup was on the day-of timing. We had planned for tacos to arrive at 9:00 p.m., but they didn’t get there until around 9:36 p.m. I had guests asking where the tacos were, and I ended up having to step off the dance floor to call and check in. It all worked out in the end, but I’d recommend they ask for a “day-of contact” for future weddings so someone other than the bride or groom can handle those details.

Overall, though, Lulu’s Salsa was wonderful to work with, and their food was outstanding. If you’re looking for delicious, affordable tacos for your event—especially if you have dietary restrictions—they’re 100% worth checking out! 🌮💃“

“We were visiting from St Louis & stopped in one afternoon for a drink & guacamole. The guac is homemade; SO delicious & with homemade chips! We decided to return the next day for lunch. This time we had the tacos. Again, plentiful meat with the most delicious tasteful toppings. We were fortunate to have the same waiter, Tony. He’s definitely an asset to the restaurant. “I wish it was a star point system to review. I usually love britos burrito. The location on Nicollet is really convenient for me. I would probably give it three stars. I always ask for one scoop of rice and they always give me extra. I ask for a little bit of corn and they put a heaping scoop on the one thing that really frustrates me is that when I ask for extra cheese, they put a pinch on and if I ask for more, they get angry and tell me that I’m going to have to pay for it. The service leaves a lot to be desired, but the pricing is good, which is why it is three stars and not five.“

“Love this place! I always have a shredded beef dish of some sort. I know it's homemade as a couple of times I have found a bay leaf inside my burrito or taco. Good thing I always add a bit of salsa to my stuff and check. I love sitting at the bar and trying the 3 different salsas that are available as a help yourself buffet style along with delicious chips. Love the margaritas but now I am spoiled, I tried one with Milagro silver tequila on the rocks. It is excellent! The Columbia Heights locale is my favorite, and I have tried each of the others! I have yet to try the patio in the summertime, so I can't tell you about it. The stained glass windows are amazing! Busy bustling place! I love it! And the staff is excellent! If I want to change an option on the menu, the staff is very accommodating. I would give this place 5 stars! I always take family and friends to La Casita Mexican Restaurant - Columbia Heights, MN when they come to visit!“

“The most authentic food in the area and its delicious. unfortunwtly the last couple of times they have screwed us over with the bill. last time they charged me $10.00 for an horchata. tonight I ordered a pozole $16.99 and classic plate $17.99 =34.98 plus 2.91 from taxes should of been$37.89 but they charged me $42.82. It not a lot but it simply shouldn't happen“

Moving to WI, we struggled to find the same. We finally found an authentic mexican restaurant. The food was so good & the staff was friendly & attentive. We went to Qdoba last minute and they catered our order for our son's grad party! Crystal was the manager on duty! Her and the staff were so kind and helpful! What they did was a true blessing! They are right next door to michoacana, where your kids’ minds will be blown when they seen the technicolor array of dessert options.“
