“We had a large party and were seated upstairs. It was over 90° outside and very hot in the area. Fans didn't help much. We were given water but had to finally ask for ice. The food was delicious and the staff were very cordial, helpful and accommodating.“

“As usual, Lola does not disappoint. We were a party of 4 with a 7 PM reservation. We arrived grossly early (25 minutes) and could not be seated because the restaurant was so busy on a Monday evening! Service, as usual, was prompt and friendly. The food was excellent across the board. We especially liked the seasonal starter, caccio a pepe sweet corn. We had the Calabrian cauliflower, the kale salad and three pizza shared among 4 of us. We left with the inner smile, indicating food made with love and joy, that identifies a five star experience. Since Anna Kim has closed her other restaurants we hope that Lola will keep going. It keeps the standard for pizza in the Twin Cities high and delicious.“

Loved the casual atmosphere outdoors with some shade to sit—you can’t dine in essentially as all seating is outdoors which myself and coworkers appreciated .A nice lunch break from the typical work environment. “Very cool spot! Had great reviews so stopped in for dinner with the family. We had the cheesy bread with marinara which was good. We also ordered the grilled vegetables appetizer that we enjoyed.

Then my wife and daughter ordered a pizza with tomatoes, feta cheese, harissa and fennel sausage which they really enjoyed. My son is a basic pizza kid so we split a pepperoni pizza which we also enjoyed. We all liked the coal fired approach which reminded us of some of the places we enjoyed when we lived in CT (New Haven).

Service is going to get its own section here in the write up because it was exceptional! We had an Asian guy (apologies I can't recall his name) who took care of us who was fantastic! Positive attitude, super upbeat and friendly. Very helpful with menu suggestions and beer suggestions as well. Very attentive, refills were timely, never had any long stretches where he disappeared (and they were PACKED). Really stayed on top of everything and provided a great experience overall.

“I came here for the first time last week and I am so happy I decided to dine. The staff was absolutely phenomenal. Cyrus our waitstaff was very attentive, knowledgeable and outgoing. He explained everything in depth and provided recommendation based on our interest. He inquired about our dietary restrictions as well which made his recommendations even more personable. I ordered the sweet potatoe korokke, maitake karaage and the mentaiko lumache. My partner ordered the pork gyoza and the squid ink peppardelle. Everything we ordered arrived prompt and was absolutely phenomenal! The sweet potatoe korokke and the maitake karaage was my favorite due to the flavour, presentation as well as the texture. I enjoy crunchy yet flavourful dishes. I also LOVED the mentaiko lumache, it was very creamy and light. I would absolutely return as this is one of my favorite restaurants. Highly recommend due to service and the quality of the food.“

“We've been to Lynette a few times now and always leave happy. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. The restaurant is kid-friendly but it's also a great date night spot. A few standouts for us have been the pizzas, carrots, hummus, dry rub wings, fries, and the apple crisp, which was one of the best desserts we've had in recent memory.“

“My wife and I have been to La Mesa a handful of times and have never been disappointed( including our second date, its a great date spot). La mesa is a hidden gem tucked away in the neighborhood with a great outdoor space in the summer. In my opinion, they have some of the best pizza in the city The corn pizza is my favorite and the weekly special last week was slow roasted pork and chimichurri sauce which was delicious. Great place, good service, and nice atmosphere and would recommend to anyone looking for a fun date night or something different than a bar and grill. I just recommend to a co worker and she really enjoyed it!“

“This was our first experience at Tono and we were pleasantly surprise:) the large Caesar salad was enough for 3 of us and we had some left over still. The cheesecake was as big as my head, definitely going to have leftovers. The truffle fries were tasty and the pizza was pretty good too. The Spicy Tono and the regular pepperoni pizza look pretty much the same but the taste was the tell. The spicy is less spicy than you’d expect. The price wasn’t too bad either. Our family of 4 ate for around $80 bucks. The volume inside the restaurant was rather loud and busy… it was during peak hours soooo they get a pass on that“
