“As out of towners, we weren’t sure about this place based on outside and location. But wow! The inside is gorgeous, every food item was delicious (we split a buffalo chicken wrap, French dip, tots and cup of soup). Our waitress Jackie was awesome! “The point of this place is to get drunk and socialize, and you can absolutely accomplish that here. They've ruined the atmosphere with the stage they added a few years back for bands. I know the intention was good, but bands could fit a smaller footprint without the stage, and it's a single room that absolutely does not need elevation. We played there for years, and having room for people to dance made the experience wonderful. Those days are gone.“

“We held our company Christmas Party at their beautiful restaurant and had such a great time! The staff were so attentive and wonderful to interact with throughout the whole evening! We ordered an array of food and our employees couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic the prime rib and KFC (Korean fried cauliflower) were! The talk around the shop about this event and the delicious food went on for days! We all had such a great experience from start to finish. They made it so easy to plan, set up, host and tear down. We would highly recommend anyone looking to host a party to come here! Now if you are just looking for a bite to eat for a date night or family night out, they also have you covered. No matter what plans you have this is the spot to be! A huge thanks to Lake and Irving for all they did for us and a massive thank you to Chris the chef! I tipped him $30 and then the manager yelled at me for shorting the tab. $50 in cash had gone missing from the table as the Excelsior Man giggled at me. I tipped him $30 more and left. Don't go to Moe's Char House!“

“Found this place while oh holidays. It is fantastic, the food is beautiful and the servers are so friendly. There is something for all the family. My kids loved playing in the arcade and my husband was in his element with all the sport. I loved the cocktails. Being from Ireland it was lovely to meet a fellow Irish man Darren, I think his name was. We had a fantastic time and will be back on our next trip.“

They were out of this world and perfectly balanced with salty, sweet and a little smokiness from the bacon! I had the orange Suzette pancakes and they were pure perfection!“

We were impressed with the generous pour she was served. I ordered steak bites for the first time. She ordered the chicken stir fry - a long time favorite. She was served a very generous amount, i.e., the largest ever. She loved her entree and I was happy with mine as well. Friday's are often busy and it was very busy yesterday. The noise level was unpleasantly high making conversation a challenge. We will be avoiding Friday dinners at Maynard's in the spring, summer and fall. We were pleased to see the lot across the street now opened for parking at a cost of $2.00. 🤗“

“Great place to meet and hang out with friends. Casual atmosphere. Patio seating is a favorite. They really do have excellent burgers. They do have a great selection of beer however, it would be excellent if they had hard cider on tap. You do have the option of buying a bottle of your favorite wine at the attached liquor store and enjoying it for a corking fee. The staff is long-standing and ever friendly. Haskell's will always remain a favorite.

“We had a group of six and a child eat at LARS for dinner and breakfast, and both times we had Brook as our server. Brook went above and beyond for our group. Always checking to make sure that we had everything that we needed, and we were always well taken care of. For dinner, we had a birthday that we were celebrating, and Brook surprised her with cake and ice cream. For breakfast, he knew we were about to drive home, and he made sure the kids had to go snacks and juices for the ride. Food was great, but service was exceptional. Will definitely back!“

“Our waiter Joshua was very attentive making sure our waters were full and that wee got a refill on chips when we needed.

The food we orders was the Cuban sandwich , a steak taco, and a shrimp taco. The Cuban was very delicious the meat was juicy and had a great taste to it and even though it was very juice the bread didn't get soggy! Both types of tacos were good the shells did fall apart easily though.
With ordering the chips and salsa they brought out three different salsas for every heat preference they brought out a hot, mild, and medium. I really enjoyed the spicy salsa and the mild wasn't the biggest fan of the medium!“

Only negative I can think of is that 4 onion rings is a $4 upcharge - kinda steep but I'll let it slide because it was just that good.“

“Went there for brunch and got a seat right away since they were not busy. There's not a lot on the menu, but that makes it easier to choose something to eat. Food arrived fairly quickly, but I think that partly relates to there not being many people to serve at the time. I had the thick cut French toast, and it was one of the best French toasts I have had in a while. Big pieces of bread, with strawberries and walnuts, made for a good time. The price was a little more than expected of French toast, but for how much they give you and the taste, I think it is worth it as a treat once in a while. Would defiantly eat here again.“

“My mom and I stopped in for lunch and we were greeted immediately and chose a table to sit at. I chose their spiciest burger (the name escapes me) and my mom chose the pepperoni pizza. Both were delicious, but if you don't like things too spicy, ask them to put the spicy sauce on the side for your burger. It was a lot of heat, but still so good! Atmosphere was calm and relatively quiet as there were only a few customers at the bar and surrounding tables during our visit. Our server was also bartending, and he was very attentive. I'd definitely stop back in whenever I happen to be on that side of the cities!“
