“For our company’s employee appreciation party, we booked a cruise on the Belle Vista, and it was wonderful! The crew was very kind, professional and attentive and the food was amazing. We are beyond impressed with how smoothly everything went from the initial booking to the day of the cruise. Morgan worked with us diligently to book the cruise and did a fantastic job recommending which boat would best fit our group and helped with selecting our food choices. We can’t thank all the staff at Al and Almas enough, from the cooks that prepared our food, to the many behind-the-scenes staff, and the incredible crew that made our day so special. We highly recommend Al and Almas for any event and can’t wait to plan our next cruise.“

“We had a great meal last night at the Lake Room. The bar area was packed, but the dining room was less so (nice for noise). We shared appetizers (deviled eggs and chicken skewers) which were both excellent. Entrees were also very good - bone-in pork chop and shrimp and grits. Wednesdays are 1/2 off bottles of wine night, so we enjoyed an excellent red. Service was great. We love this place!“

“We’ve been to Iron Tap a few times and it never disappoints! Today we went to celebrate my son’s heavenly 3rd birthday. Initially we were okay and my daughter seemed fine but within a few minutes she decided she didn’t want to be there… the owner (or really awesome and amazing bartender) came to our rescue and offered us dinosaurs and another area to sit so my 1.5 year old could move and not bug anyone. She didn’t know us or our situation, just saw an overstimulated mother. I wish there was more I could do, because you made our celebration so special. Thank you!“

“Great Irish/American comfort food on the menu. Irish Rolls were great, Shepherd Pie, and Meatloaf all done so well. Met Chef James at Twins game and made a special short 20 minute trip out from our downtown hotel. Food was worth the trip, staff was absolutely great and friendly. We brought our pup with us, plenty of outdoor sidewalk and patio seating, and a water dish provided. Will be back again.“

“Breakfast was fantastic! Meatlovers Omlette with hasbrowns. The omlette was LOADED! First time here and will be back again for sure! Service was FANTASTIC! My wife was very happy with the service and the food as well. Thank you! Not sure how you spell it, but Uhn was awesome and really fast at her job!“

“I walked over to The King’s House for lunch while getting my motorcycle tuned up at Davis Motorsports just down the street. I got one of their specials, the taco salad with chicken. It was among the best taco salads I’ve had. I especially enjoyed the burst of flavor from the fresh cherry tomatoes generously embedded in the salad. The shell is clearly home made, as is the unique sauce. The seasoning and herbs on the chicken were also perfect. Everything was very fresh. The presentation was excellent. Their ice tea is clearly brewed fresh too. I went ahead and had a mojito for desert and found it well crafted and refreshing on a July afternoon.

My server was professional and personable.

The place wasn’t very busy at lunch time. But I got the impression their busy time is evenings. Tables are nicely spaced. They have outdoor dining. Ample free parking in their dedicated lot. I enjoyed their playlist as I ate - a diverse mix of mostly alternative soft rock. I was pleased that they didn’t have any distracting TVs in the restaurant.

Everything is accessible to wheelchairs.

Kid-friendliness: Wooden tables and chairs, concrete floor - nothing fancy about the space - but everything is clean and comfortable. It would be an welcoming place to bring the whole family.

“Great place tucked into downtown Wayzata! It was our first time there and we will definitely be back. A little spendy, but there are lower-priced items, and for authentic Italian food, you can't beat it. The service was fabulous - our server was very attentive and very helpful with the menu. When we had questions about the wine, the bartender brought over the wines we were considering and explained each one thoroughly. After our dinner, we went out to the patio to sit by the fire and finish our wine. It was the perfect end to a wonderful meal! I would recommend this place if you're looking for a nice quiet evening with authentic Italian food!“

“Honestly our experience couldn't have been better. We arrived early and were offered complimentary Prosecco while we waited. A small thing, but a nice touch. Old fashioned was a 10. Food was inventive, aesthetic and cooked to perfection. Server was attentive and informed. Really nice job to all involved!“

“Food was AMAZING, service was AMAZING.

I had the pulled pork barbecue sandwich which I don't regret getting, one of the best I have ever had. The other people I was with got the chicken loaded burrito, and they absolutely loved it.

Our server Chris, was Awesome. He would check in regularly, refill our drinks, and ask if we needed anything.

10/10 would absolutely love to come here again.“
