“Milly’s is an absolute gem in Minneapolis! The wine selection is impressive, with a great variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options that catered perfectly to our group. The food, especially the charcuterie boards, was delicious and beautifully presented. Don’t miss out on the French onion soup! Our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. A special shoutout to Timothy, the sommelier, who was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us pick the perfect pairings for our meal. And the owner, Brandon, was so welcoming and personable, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!“

“We stumbled onto this place by picking it at random from google. We sat at the bar and had great recommendations from the servers / mixologists. We had a very enjoyable meal. Highly recommend finishing the meal with a fresh baked cookie 😀“

“This was my first wine tasting experience and I must say it did not disappoint! The atmosphere is excellent, and I definitely plan on coming back when there is love music. Staff was extremely kind and knowledgeable. Tried the "Making America Drunk Again" flight and really enjoyed both the Cabernet Sauvignon and the Pinot Noir.“

“Best pasta in the Twin Cities?????? Cavatelli with Rabbit Sugo was marvelous. We swapped and tried each others and I was equally floored by all of them. Wonderful service. Our server was friendly and helpful. Delicious drinks and cheesecake for dessert (ate immediately, not pictured). Absolutely will come back- hopefully soon!“

“-Vinai MN- My friend and I wanted to try Chef Yia's restaurant due to being homesick and wanting hmong food. We were met with such great service and sat where we could see the work area. Chef Yia was so kind and started us off with a complimentary appetizer, rice Curry balls. We ordered and the food came so fast. As soon as I took a bite, my eyes started to get teary because it tasted like food from home. I started fanning myself to not cry which Chef Yia saw and asked if the food was too spicy. We then started to explain that we were not from MN and were feeling a bit homesick and how the food reminded us of home. Chef Yia then said, here let's do this. He returned with a pot of beef soup that consisted of mushrooms, bamboo shoots, beef and green onion and white rice and shared that this dish was one of those dishes that we would eat at gathering and events. We we so shocked and so at loss with his kindness and compassion. We both took a bite and immediately lighted up. It tasted like my mom's cooking 💓. As we were nearing the end of our meal, Chef Yia told us not to stuff ourselves too full and surprised us with a complimentary dessert which further awed us. We were so lost at words for Chef Yia's kindness, generosity and comfort. We chose the Lava Cake and it was soooo good! I normally don't like sweets but we devoured this 😋. 1000/10 would recommend.“

“We had a fantastic date night at Joan’s! Highly recommend! The food was incredible. Perfect pacing, portions, wine pairings, and the flavors have you closing your eyes to experience each bite. “Some odd industrial music choices and higher volume when packed didn't impede my enjoyment of our absolutely delicious drinks, gnocchi, halibut, or steak. Service and food were lovely throughout, just be prepared to have to shout a bit to converse~“

“We went here 6 years ago and enjoyed the food. Came back in February 2025, right before it was scheduled to close, and the food was pretty bad. Not sure if the quality digressed or our personal standards increased. Either way, sad it’s gone but the food wasn’t anything that will be missed.“

“We went to the capital Grille to celebrate our anniversary. Our waiter was Carlos, who was amazing. Very thoughtful and professional. The food we had was outstanding. They gave us a very nice treat and some champagne for free at the end in celebration of our anniversary. Overall, an excellent experience as usual. “

“Nice little hole in the wall spot on Central Ave. Busy street makes for easy access by foot, but not car. So it’ll appeal to some but maybe not all. Drinks were great! The apricot old fashioned was phenomenal. Didn’t get food because there wasn’t much of a menu, but smaller items to snack on. Not really a dinner spot but definitely a romantic date spot with great drinks and service. $4 Hamms for HH is excellent.
Parking: If you are a driver, park on side streets and walk.“

“It was awesome! The service was great! Staff went out of their way to accommodate all 11 of us! Everyone that works there seemed happy and ready to help! I graded a 4 on food..only because out of PERSONAL preference I didn't like my food, BUT someone else at our table had the same thing and LOVED IT! And a 3 for atmosphere because it was a bit loud and hard to visit ..but again that's a personal preference...Would we go back?MOST DEFINITELY“

“Not a bad place overall. I had a Chicken sandwich with pesto, and it was pretty good. Decent amount of food and pretty good quality overall. Nice outdoor seating area and it seems like it would be an excellent place to grab a work lunch with one or two people.“

“You know I don't always go to steakhouses all the time, but I might have to change that after visiting Ruth's. Chris. Honestly, the food is just so good. The prices are definitely eye-watering, but it's definitely to be expected. Plenty of people around you are celebrating something so you can tell it's definitely a restaurant that most people are visiting for special occasions. Honestly, I prefer their food over 6 Smith and even Manny's.
The steaks here are always perfectly cooked, seasoned just right, and absolutely delicious. 10/10
If you're reading this review, just don't even think about second-guessing yourself. Just go.“

“Ordered a classic Rachel and side salad. Sandwich filling was plentiful and came with side of 1000 island fir dipping but was a little on the dry side. Side salad was standard not outstanding but fresh. Spent a minute with table mates guessing the purple ingredient which was onion not a beet.“
