“First timers today. Would highly recommend! Tried the hot honey dill and chicken bacon ranch, both amazing! Also picked up a ton of frozen that were also on sale. Excited to try the eggs Benedict, am a breakfast pizza love and eggs Benedict. Never seen this combo before, but looking forward to it. “This is my favorite pizza!!! Their pizza is CONSISTENTLY perfection! Great sauce, toppings and the perfect amount of cheese. Their crust is tender with a little crunch on the ends. I appreciate that is NEVER tough ( like when the extra crust thrown back and rerolled with more flour and gets tough) it is always just right. Then there are the owners and staff, fantastic customer service and so friendly!! You walk into this well kept place and are greeted with a smile. “HEADS UP VEGETARIANS!!! If you order a plain cheese pizza with wild rice on it, or a "hog in the bog with no sausage", the wild rice still has sausage mixed in. I have no idea why. It's not indicated as such on the website and several employees *do not know* that the wild rice comes with sausage mixed in and cannot be included separately as vegetarian. This is my one and only complaint and it breaks my heart because everything else is awesome but this lack of communication around seemingly vegetarian-safe ingredients is quite frankly a health risk.“

“Second day gluten free tried Minnesota thin crust with sausage and pineapple. And a chocolate chip cookie for dessert. The pizza was so good. Just as good as Ronallys or Savoy. The cookie was amazing too. Warm crispy on the outside and soft inside. I had no idea gluten free could be just as tasty as wheat based pizza and cookies.

“I literally used to live here 3-4 days a week during lunch. I can't say enough for the nonchalance of the staff on my 2nd/3rd weekly visit. No sarcastic "welcome back", just nice friendly staff and quick, consistent service.

Some days, I swear the chef(s) was/ (were) testing me and adding a little more bubble to the crust. If it was intentional? Who's to say. But I noticed. The culinary reprieve with a only slightly (dare I say microscopically) more complex crust gave me the drive I needed to make those rare, yet memorable, 3rd weekly visits.

“Low key, laid back, relaxed atmosphere. Staff is friendly, though there are few staff. We have gone there numerous times. Pretty good food. This was our 1st time not ordering a pizza. Salad was good. Meatball sandwich was not bad but not great. We enjoy coming here. Older crowd with fun music, meat raffle and Bingo nights.

“Loved the place. Just captures the essence of what an Italian-American eatery/shop would be expected to feel like. Food was great. Cafeteria style service so it was pretty quick. Fun atmosphere (music, decor, etc.). Fun little shop with bakery and butcher and candy/chocolates. Would go again.“

“Ordered pizza for my sons 3rd birthday. Arrived early and they were very nice, everything we needed was given to me. Pizza was great. Ordered a Caesar salad and it came with olive and tomatoes. I’m not complaining because I like both but just curious if this is the norm. Never have been given a Caesar salad with tomatoes and black olives. Over all would def order from them again. Staff was wonderful. Food was equally wonderful.“

“I am a transplant from Chicago for over ten years and I have lived in several different parts of the city which allowed me to have tried so many different pizza places. There are some decent spots until I discovered Rocco's. Most people in Chicago eat thin or a medium crust. Yes deep dish pizza is eaten too but not as the go too. Rocco's thin crust is best pizza that I have had and definably a true Chicago pizza. I believe its the sauce which brings me back to my roots. Please try it and you wont be disappointed. Rocco's is outstanding. 2 last notes. I did not rate atmosphere because it is take out place. Last they list a Chicago style pizza which sounds very different. I was told it has the sauce on top of cheese. So it must be deep dish but the menu has both listed on the menu. So I do not want to confuse anyone. I am highly recommending just the standard thin crust which really tastes like how a Chicago pizza should be. Yummy!!!! It's a solid TEN.“
