Besides, it's in Osseo which also seems like it's stuck in the 80's with the houses in the community being built in the 50's or older“

“Every table was full at lunchtime on a Friday and I'm not surprised. The food and service were outstanding.I had a Founders porter and a DJ burger (customized). They let me special order to turn that DJ burger into a Plaza burger a la Annie's in Dinkytown - that's sourcream, raw onion, and pumpernickel. It was delicious, memorable! The porter paired perfectly with the burger. I got fries and they were great too. The place was full but our service was very good. The prices were even reasonable, $13 +/- for a sandwich.“

“We have been to Pints & Paddle several times since it has opened and tonight we hosted a large group of clients & friends, most who have never been there. We went for trivia with Trivia Mafia and it was so much fun. Great food, great service (Spencer in the kitchen was awesome and very accommodating to a couple special needs we had with our group). Our waitress even split appetizers on the checks and was perfect for providing the best experience possible.Food was ok, just wish there were more offerings. Hat's off!Speaking of dishes, the bison tartare was increibly good, but we were blown away by the flavor of the duck ragu in the Torchietti. We had it made gluten-free to accommodate my wife's dietary needs, and the pasta was still delicious! We didn't stop there, adding an order of the pork chop for me and Alaskan halibut for my wife. The flavor profile on the pork chop dish was insanely big, bold, and wonderful. It was such a contrast to the halibut, which was also wonderful but much more delicate. Both were great. We were stuffed. There was no room for dessert, but since we had let it be known we were out celebrating a special event, we were not to leave without a wonderful little celebration treat. It was much appreciated!Our seating was at the Chef's Counter, and it couldn't have been more perfect. It gave us witness to all the incredible work going on in the kitchen as well as all the dishes that were getting prepped. TheDietary restrictions: My wife is gluten-free, and not only do they accommodate this with some of their dishes they go above and beyond to communicate between the waiter and kitchen about the dietary needs. This shows up starting with bread basket modifications, moves into extra tasting bites supplied to us from the head chef, and follows through to all our entrees and special desserts. Phenomenal staff coordination and cooperation.“

“I was planning a bachelor party and looked up top rated gentleman’s clubs in downtown Minneapolis. Ricks was the first club to pop up, so we made a reservation and decided to try it out. It was really just a deep fried pork chop on a bun. “You walk in into a small yet inviting waiting area with a small bar. If you got the pre drink package, you get a small menu of crafted cocktails or you can ask the bartender to make your own. After your introductory drink, they take you to the dining area which is a U shaped are with the kitchen in the center. You get an amazing experience from start to finish with 7 to 11 courses; you won't leave hungry. The wine pairing is carefully selected for a perfect match to each dish. The food is TOP NOTCH. They way the flavors come together in your pallet is really an experience you need to have for yourself.“

“My expectations were probably too high walking in. The food was good, not as outstanding or as interesting as I would have thought. The grilled sea salt oyster on the way in was tasty. They brought us well prepared chicken, some sushi small bite, and other things I can't remember a month later that were enjoyable. The cake was dry and not worth the calories (or cost). The dietary restriction I indicated was missed but they were able to adjust in the moment. The atmosphere was lovely upstairs. We ate in the covered outdoor area at a shared table.“

“Omg this is a must do!!! They have an Italian Giglio feature right now that is just so awesome. We booked a reservation about a month out which you have to do as it books out quick! You do need to pay in advance which I don't love but also makes sense and makes it easier at the end of the night. We were in the upper part of the restaurant and we just had a blast. Not only was the food fabulous, the service is quick, witty and top notch plus they have events and small moments throughout the evening to make it fun. We did trivia during dinner but they also had music playing and interactive food stations. For this feature the mozzarella and cacio e Pepe from the cheese wheels are to die for. “My wife and I came in on Monday before a show at the Fillmore. We had happy hour drinks and appetizers, along with entrees and dessert. Everything was wonderful. Hannah was great and if I remember correctly, Christian was the bartender. He made us very well balanced cocktails for 3 hours. My last drink was the chili rum punch. I pulled Hannah aside to get the ratios for the cocktail it was that good. I was taken back when she said it wasn't as popular as some of the other cocktails. That's a perfect patio cocktail and one that I'll try to recreate with my staff for this spring/summer. The only thing I will reccomend or suggest and it's maybe just a preference. For the crab cake appetizer, instead of placing the crab cake on top of the jalapeno tartar sauce,(which was delicious). Think about placing the sauce on the side and not underneath. It just seemed like there was way more tartar than needed. But like I previously stated, could just be my preference.“

“We recently “discovered” this long-time local favorite in Northeast Minneapolis. It’s the first dog-friendly restaurant we’ve been to. Dogs - and other pets - are welcome, and they even have a dog menu. They also have the most impressive urinals I’ve seen. ?“

“Whiskey was fantastic, and I didn't think it was overpriced, as many have claimed. It's the same at any other whiskey or scotch bar, and Gori even allows you to do half pours, which is very nice. Aside from straight whiskey, the Old Fashion was one of the best I've had, very unique and balanced. They do add an extra 20% charge, but they didn't even give us the option of tipping, so that's your tip. Environment is very small but wonderful. I would live there if I were rich.“

“Okay well as you see I rated this 4 stars and there is multiple reasons for that. I rated this lower but really it's a 4.5. And that's only because the noise... whenever I go eat there it is so unbelievably loud and I can't hear anyone talking to me so unless you go there in the morning it is really loud. But other than that the food is great and especially the breakfast food the Service is great and the waiters are really friendly one waitresses name is Mickey and she is like a family friend at this point so if you go there in the morning there is a 40% chance you will get her. “This was a nice surprise. We were looking for a spot to grab dinner before a concert and ended up eating and staying for drinks for a couple of hours. The drinks Dave made us were fantastic. The food was very good. Overall a great spot to stop at for food in the area. Between the great conversation with Willie one of the managers, and Dave behind the bar, it was a great experience and I know this will be where I go next time I'm up in Minneapolis.“

There is no reason why the bartender shouldn't hustle just cuz it's slow. They were nice enough, but come on person. Pep in step would be nice. The bar carries Pryes Royal Peach, which I love. A shot of Casamigos reposado was $15. Which is insanely steep, considering it cost less at the music venue I work at. I normally get Casadores, because it's not sweet, but Casamigos is an ok substitute. So, believe me when I say I know the average cost of this shot around town. Three other items I purchased were reasonably priced. But this $15 shot was just straight up insane. Whoever is doing the pricing needs to go out and do some scouting and check prices on stuff at other bars. That one is too much, especially cuz you're not a giant venue, stadium, or the airport. That being said, nice spot. Great patio. Would %100 recommend checking it out on your next NE bar crawl.“

“This is one of our go-to restaurants in the North Loop! Their food is amazing, the chicken sandwich is to die for, and the Thr3 Jack burger is just as good as Parlour! The cocktails are delicious, and the atmosphere is cozy, yet cool. Highly recommend to anyone, especially if it's warm enough to sit on the patio at the bar.Parking: There is a parking ramp right next door, as well as street parking throughout the whole neighborhood.“

There's no cook. No servers. Just a couple of friendly bartenders slinging cheap drinks and, I sh-- you not, the best freaking burgers in Minneapolis. They also have chicken sandwiches and pizzas, and I'm sure they're delicious. But the perfectly seasoned, perfectly griddled smash burgers are really where it's at. The atmosphere is divey and friendly. Lots of regulars coming in and out, nice patio area, etc. Everything is very clean, but there are no frills. If you love places like that as much as I do, do yourself a favor and head to NEYC now.“

“Super fun watering hole . Great bar tenders that make you feel welcomed and make strong drinks. ( kinda like the famous CHEERS ! ). Gets busy so get there early ! “A hidden gem can be found inside the Marriott Hotel in Brooklyn Park. The food and service here are top notch! We ordered the wings and requested the Tennessee hot sauce. The sauce had a nice kick and was perfect for our liking! The Brussels sprouts were crispy, and the flavors were unique and delicious. I'm not usually a fan of blue cheese, but the combination of all the seasonings was one of the best Brussels sprouts I've ever had! The ribeye was seasoned and cooked perfectly. “I'd been here before but it was a long time ago. A colleague mentioned the wings were so good so we came just for that.Sadly I was not impressed. Just a matter of preference I suppose. I like my wings SUPER crispy - no rubbery skin for me please. I asked for well done. What I got was very well done in spots with rubbery skin everywhere else and very little sauce. Decent enough flavor but I probably wouldn't order them next time. Everything else was fantastic - ambiance, service - absolutely my kind of place.There is a free parking ramp behind the bar which is awesome because there are 2 other bars right there and the street parking fills up fast during prime time.“

While the truffle flavor in the burger was a bit subdued for my taste, I still enjoyed the meal. It’s rare to find sweet potato fries these days, and it was a delightful addition. I would suggest introducing a special house dip, perhaps a blend of mayonnaise and ketchup, which pairs excellently with sweet potato fries.“

“Newly remodeled. Ordered the everything pizza (it was just ok), fish and chips were great, and so were the fried mushrooms. Overall, the food was good. We arrived at a peak time and got the last 2 available seats at 6 pm on a Friday (and the last parking spot in the lot). The bartender/server was very attentive and friendly. The fish and mushrooms were excellent and obviously made fresh to order. Being so busy, there was a lag or a bit of a kitchen miscommunication on food being ready, we waited 45 minutes, so a drink was given on the house - very nice. They were having a meat raffle, which was easy to participate in because the person handling it came to our table. The ceiling is high, so the acoustics made it a bit of a challenge to hear my friend talking, so we had to lean in to hear each other. I'd for sure go back because it's in such a convenient spot, and their tap beer selection was pretty good with something for everyone.“

“We were in town for a basketball tournament & a local recommended The Barrel House. There is a lack of parking so we almost didn't go in because there were cars parked everywhere. I called & they said there was no wait. We went into the dining room door first & you basically walk right into people eating, ha! So we turned around and went to the door further down which was the bar side. Worked out great being that's where we'd want to sit anyway! It was seat yourself & we were promptly greeted after sitting down. Our server was very personable. The food arrived quickly. She brought out mine & my husband's & said my sons pancake was almost done but she didn't want our food to get cold. I really appreciated that. When the pancake came out it was still steaming, delicious! We all really enjoyed our food. I had a sausage omlette with hash browns and my husband had a skillet. We will be back!“

We ordered the buffalo chicken eggrolls which were delicious, and the edamame which were good but had a bit too much soy sauce. I had a buffalo chicken salad.
