“Everything we’ve had from Nixta is just so good. More than once we’ve said “this is the best ______ I’ve ever had” about various menu items. Cant recommend enough.“

“Delicious fresh Mexican food, very good quality, better than Chipotle, family owned, dairy free guac, Mario (owner) originally made me some on-the-house cream cheese filled donuts, but I told him I'm vegan so he immediately went back and made me some buñeulo/churro chips with a raspberry dipping sauce. That is GREAT service that he in no way had to do, he is just that nice of a guy! The kids working there were very friendly as well and seem to enjoy their jobs and working for Mario. I wish there were more locations of this in the metro, but that makes it a treat to come out to Medina. I'd never heard of this place, and had passed by it many times before finally stopping in and I highly recommend it! You can get made to order vegan taco, burrito, nacho, and bowl options. Go, you will not be disappointed. Burrito Corner for the win 🌯😋!!!“

“An out of the way gem tucked into the corner of a tiny strip mall in Spring Lake Park, Mn. Very authentic decor with all the bells and whistles of a true Mexican restaurant. I've only had their taco plate because it's what i love. The fresh vegetables garnishes, the rice and refried beans make for an eye pleasing and taste bud loving delicious delight. Many locals find their way there at lunch time so it's a happy buzzing crowd that loves their great dishes. I'm glad I found this treasure and will indeed be back for more!“

I needed a screwdriver to alter my idling screw on my classic truck and he was more than happy to assist. Carne asada burrito is tops.“

“I happened upon this food truck while shopping in the area and am so glad I did! Without knowing, I caught them right at close but they were still so kind and accommodating. I ordered their al pastor tacos which had amazing flavor!!! My son loved them too and he's a hard critic! I could turn up the heat even more with the salsa they provided. “I tried Que Taco for the first time..the location in New Hope off of Bass Lake Road. The handmade tortillas are excellent and the Pozole as one of the best I have had...very authentic. It was so good we went back the next day to try the chilaquiles and machete. All very good!“

“I orginally ordered two grilled chicken tacos and one shredded beef taco, then I was still hungry so I ordered three additional grilled chicken tacos. The chicken meat was not very flavorful or hot, and the chicken meat seemed a bit chewy and tuff. The shredded beef taco was extremely greasy and gross. I only ate what i ordered that was served to out of respect and because I was extremely hungry. I ordered a ice water with a lemon with my meal, so there was no charge for that. Although when the bill came I was in shock to get a bill for $36 for six tacos with absolutely nothing else. I brought it to another staff members attention and he did a slight adjustment on my bill to make it $32 although that is still ridiculous for six tacos. I will never give this restaurant any business ever again and I am going to recommend all my colleagues,friends and associates don't give them any business either.“

“It has been a while since coming here under the new Ownership. I am glad I chose to reinvestgate. I ordered the Sothern fried steak, which came with hash browns and toast with coffee and water. The steak and gravy was one of the best I have ever had. The hash browns were good yet could have been browned a little more. The coffee was rich and did the job. Our Server was prompt and tentative. Great attitude. The price was an expected value, especially with the Senior discount. I am already planning a return trip to try some of their South American cuisine. I recommend giving this quiet place a try.“

Our experience was very good, food was top notch, service was great, and location was nice with lots of parking close by. This restaurant was also very respectful to our group as we has a severe dog with and the restaurant staff were very welcoming... However a naboring older couple dint approve of the dog but only gave us the stink eye the hour we were there. Keep up the great work!!!!!!!“

We were visiting our son who recently moved into Excelsior & Grand across the street from Lago Tacos and after a long flight it was just a short walk to what is now our favorite Mexican restaurant. We had a wonderful lunch and great conversation & laughter with Sarah...she made our visit that much nicer! The Chips and Queso as an appetizer were spot on and the Spicy Grilled Chicken Tacos were cooked to perfection and very filling. We also ordered the Chop Salad with Shrimp which was amazing with perfectly prepared shrimp and great flavor. We will be visiting our son in a couple of months and will definitely be stopping into Lago Tacos for a meal. 10 out of 10 stars...thank you Sarah. See you soon. L, John & Jean“

“stopped today on the way home from the grocery store. what a lucky stop. my partner and I shared 3 taco El pastor. they were amazing. they came with rice and beans which were also amazing. the El pastor was savory with a mild spice, the beans were soft and cooked to perfection. the rice was also cooked perfect, soft, fluffy and had a wonderful savory flavor. we paid around 12 dollar for the whole meal which fed the 2 of us. keep in mind I don't eat much so if your lady eats more you may need to get an extra taco. however the price for the quality and service was exceptional and we will be back.“

“I’m in the middle of eating my burrito but I had to make this review now. I relocated to the area in early 2020 from Nevada and since have been unable to find Mexican food that was comparable…until tonight. Picked this spot because it was the closet Mexican restaurant on the way home and it wasn’t a chain restaurant or fast food. This burrito is so good. It tasted like home and that was a really good feeling. This area is home now and this location will really help add to the feeling! If it isn’t clear, I will ABSOLUTELY be back and recommend it to everyone.“
