“We enjoy coming to JJs for Bingo and food and drinks. It’s usually busy on Bingo days, but we get there early and can get a table and order food and drinks before the first number is called. The service is good even though the place is super busy, and prices are reasonable. The waitresses are very upbeat, laugh at my husband’s jokes and refill our drinks without us having to ask. My husband’s favorites are the lasagna or chicken potpie. I usually have the Caesar salad with salmon and it has been good, although once or twice the salmon was slightly overcooked. The last time I thought I’d try something different and ordered the turkey melt and was sorely disappointed. I was looking forward to a slightly greasy sautéed sandwich with gooey cheese oozing out, stuffed with turkey. Instead the sandwich I received was like dry toast, with two slices of cheese stuck to it and a skimpy amount of turkey. I ate the turkey and peeled the cheese off, but it was very underwhelming. Please learn how to make a proper melt sandwich or take it off the menu. I won’t be ordering it again. Not giving a terrible rating, because this has been the only bad experience in over two years, but I just had to let you know the sandwich was terrible. Thanks.“

The rules are clear on the packet #5 that you must call bingo loud enough for the bingo employees to hear you(not your table or the people around you) rule #6 says You must call bingo on the last number called.The last number is valid until the letter of the next ball is called. This organization did not honor the rules that they have in place. They honored a bingo from the number before. The caller even called the gambling manager who gave the ok to pay the winner who did NOT have the bingo on the last number. It's a shame that this organization doesn't follow the their own bingo rules and I won't recommend or be back be back until things change“

“The point of this place is to get drunk and socialize, and you can absolutely accomplish that here. They've ruined the atmosphere with the stage they added a few years back for bands. I know the intention was good, but bands could fit a smaller footprint without the stage, and it's a single room that absolutely does not need elevation. We played there for years, and having room for people to dance made the experience wonderful. Those days are gone.“

“So I have been having a craving for lobster mac for a few months. Come to find out this place has it. We have never been here so I was leary going here to have lobster mac. Boy was I surprised. It was very good. Hot, tasty and plenty of lobster. I will be back not only for the food but the beer was good as well. Our waitress Amanda was spot on. “Found this place while oh holidays. It is fantastic, the food is beautiful and the servers are so friendly. There is something for all the family. My kids loved playing in the arcade and my husband was in his element with all the sport. I loved the cocktails. Being from Ireland it was lovely to meet a fellow Irish man Darren, I think his name was. We had a fantastic time and will be back on our next trip.“

“Our first time here. Our server was amazing and the food came out fast and was good. Our only complaint was how rude and condescending one of the hostess was. Sydney was extremely rude multiple times to me and my mom. I was more upset of how she talked to my mom. Her name was Sydney and we were not the only one she was rude to. “I have been to Pub 42 many times either by myself or with a party up adds of 6 people. The atmosphere is inviting and friendly. We have had the pleasure of having Riley and Iza as our servers on many occasions and I can’t stress how kind and accommodating both of them are, I have celiac disease and they are knowledgeable about the ingredients and the process of the food so that I am safe when eating there. Including the double checking and making sure that my food is gluten free, and with very limited chance of cross contamination. Both do a great job of making sure the food is good and arrives at an appropriate time, while being friendly and kind and connecting with us as patrons. I would recommend pub 42 to anyone and everyone and tell them to request being seated in either Riley or Iza’s section to guarantee them the best of service available.“

Both were delicious, but if you don't like things too spicy, ask them to put the spicy sauce on the side for your burger. It was a lot of heat, but still so good! Atmosphere was calm and relatively quiet as there were only a few customers at the bar and surrounding tables during our visit. Our server was also bartending, and he was very attentive. I'd definitely stop back in whenever I happen to be on that side of the cities!“

“I took my nephew and his roommate to the Thanksgiving buffett today. The holiday decorations were very festive and pretty. The food was delicious, the drinks were reasonably priced, and I enjoyed the experience. The 21 year olds were full and happy when we left. I would go back for a similar offering in the future.“

I understand the comments about the guy at the desk, but don’t let that stop you; it’s such a quick interaction. If you’re looking for somewhere fancy and updated, this probably isn’t the place for you. I would recommend this bowling alley, we’ll be back.“
