“It was very busy. Only 3 servers. They definitely needed more. People also needing help at the counter and pastry case. So our server was stretched very thin. Took awhile to get our drinks and then a mistake was made on my husband's main. He offered us free dessert for the error. He never refilled my Arnie Palmer. He did refill our water. It took forever to get the bill and a take home box. The food is always excellent so I know we will go back. The desserts we took home and were so decadent and delicious. Just picked a bad night I guess.”

“Ordered delivery for the first time (normally we dine in). The gentleman on the phone was pleasant & friendly. Food was delivered right on time. Pizza was great & was hot. Very flavorful! Salad was good & plenty of it. Definitely would order for delivery again!”

“Always enjoy the juicy chicken tenders from Nashville Coop. First time visiting their food truck since 2020. Still as good as I remember with the same quality as their brick and mortar locations. All kinds of spicy levels are covered here so it’s something everyone can enjoy. So far I’ve tried MN Nice, Mini Coop, Coop, and Growlin’, all solid choices depending on my mood. The Texas toast, dipping sauce, fries, and pickles all elevate the chicken tenders.”

“Coolest atmosphere. Consistently delicious food (delivery, takeout or in-house!). Excellent staff. We've mostly been enjoying our Lucé at home the past few years, but had a teen visiting and wanted to give them the full Lucé experience. I made a reservation requesting a booth because of hearing loss and sensory sensitivities in our family. We were given a booth back in the corner and we haven't had an evening out that was so pleasant as a family in years! Staff was excellent - for us and the family at the next table with a high-energy toddler who had a spill that was cleaned by cheerful staff who assured the family it was no problem. We used to be that family, so I appreciated this! Everything was clean and the restaurant looks to be in great condition. The artichoke dip was the best ever (I swear we marvel this every time we have it). We tried two new pizza types - the Classic and Wild Mushroom - both were excellent, though Athena and The Lucé will still be our go-to choices. The greek salad was high quality and very fresh. The slice of cheese pizza we took home to our youngest was good (as always - it's the picky little dude's favorite pizza!) Another word on staff - We appreciated our host and server's clear communication; I'm unsure if they did this because of awareness of our noted hearing issue, but thanks to that and the booth placement, I don't think any of us had to ask for repeats. Thank you Luce for honoring the booth request and being consistent with excellent food and service - it made a world of difference for our whole family! ("Tubular" as our visiting teen said)”

“Not the same as Joy’s original but new ownership has updated the space beautifully and it’s immaculately clean. I’m sure our present hard economic times are to blame for the less-than-perfect review that Joy always earned. I was disappointed but not enough to not return. I’m sad it’s no longer the true Joy’s. Food is still very good albeit with many changes, and the menu is uncomfortably non-substitutable. Rigid. A single diner simply cannot order the fried egg rolls because the order provides four, no half orders allowed. In most restaurants, even a full order of two is often offered by the half. Tea is served via a pot or cup; as a single, I ordered just the cup, but it was cold, and I did want a little more (if it had been hot). Servers are minimal but very personable; attentive and well-intentioned. This was difficult for me to write; I have treasured Joy's for many years. I will return but likely sparingly given the changes and new high cost.”

“The person working the deli slicer, maybe the shift leader, during the evening on 09/13/25 had a bunch of online orders. He still greeted me, took my order and worked it in flawlessly into all of the other online orders, while directing another employee on efficiently making all these sandwiches. Which is already just A+ effort!

And then I told him the wrong toppings and he just offered to make a new one without any hesitation. It was my mistake and dude just worked this new remake back into the system. This guy was locked in and I can't even tell you how refreshing that is to see in the fast-casual restaurant setting.

“I love this place. I accidentally grabbed somebody's drink. It was delicious. I really appreciate it. I told the lovely lady who helped me she was excellent, and she said no worries. She gave me the other coffee that was mine. I gave it to my friend, who worked at the grocery store that's attached, Dustin he was so grateful everybody left happy and joyful; it was amazing”

“I used to dine in there when I lived a block away, now I live on the other side of town, but I hit the drive through, on my way to work. Their service is awesome. They are always very nice, welcoming, professional. I enjoy the grilled cheese sandwich. My absolute favorite, and I highly recommend it to anyone who reads this, is their Chicken Chorrizo Burrito! It’s lower in calories and it has tons of delicious flavors. You can get their hot sauce that comes with it. I guarantee you that your day will be made with this breakfast delight!”

“I love this location because it’s usually quiet. The employees are very good at making sure my orders are prepared exactly the way I asked, and the wait time is always worthwhile. Occasionally, it does get very busy, but the staff usually handles it well. I especially recommend the street food, such as the tofu square, just keep in mind that it may take a while, as they make it fresh.”
