“Had 2 takeouts by now, extremely good tomato sauce and balanced cheese with fresh basil. Crust could be a bit more chewy and flavorful (with a higher mineral content like authentic French bakeries). Service is impeccable, truly old world generosity - we mentioned the crust was a tad on the burnt side the first visit and they gave us a free bowl of roasted carrots (which were also flavorful). Will be back again and again, and I can imagine their chefs only getting better with time“

I'm not vegan, but I can't have dairy, so it's such a relief to not have to check menu ingredients because I know I can have every single thing on the menu! Also, as someone who does eat meat, I am seriously blown away by how good their plant based burgers (and even their chicken nuggets!) are! Each menu item is well thought out and combines things I've never tried or thought to mix, and I'm happily surprised every time.Also, as someone who doesn't drink alcohol, this is my favorite spot for NA cocktails and beverages! “Best brunch in town, hands down. We've had just about everything on the menu and it's all top notch. Their Desayuno burrito is the literal best breakfast burrito in town (I usually substitute the carnitas for chicken tinga, so good). The huevos rancheros obviously follows suit. That verde is to die for. The eggs benedict is beyond compare. The brussels sprout hash is fantastic too. So well balanced with goat cheese and bacon and everything, really, if you're thinking about it at all, get it. The BK Sammie is legit. Seems simple, but it's got texture, brioche bun, salt, savory--if you like breakfast sandwiches, this one will ruin you for eating them elsewhere. The abelskivers come out so hot and you will burn your everything on them, but it'll be worth it. Their hash browns are perfection, but you can customize them. Want them extra crispy? Want some cheese on them? Add onions? Etc, etc. They have drip coffee, but they also have a full barista station and you can get your fancy lattes, etc. For lunch: the Standish potatoes are potato discs fried with garlic and spices and you didn't know they existed before, but now that you do, you'll crave them. And don't slouch on their veggie side of the day. It changes all the time, but it's been amazing every time. The Reuben and BLT are solid choices, they're a step above ones you've had elsewhere. The light field chicken sandwich is where it's at. But, really, that Desayuno burrito and all the breakfast food is still available at lunch time and it's still worth considering. Also, every single person working there is amazing. They're all so friendly, patient and fun. Usually see the same wait staff visit to visit, so it must be a good place to work. “First time here today for chess club meetup. I was greeted right away and the gentleman/owner was super nice and helpful. Fun yet low key environment that had cool decor with fun chairs, tables and keys on the wall. It was clean, they played good music, kinda like an upbeat coffee house. They let us bring in our own snacks. They have beer, soda, seltzer and 2 NA drinks available along with pretzels for purchase. Will come back!“

“Urban Growler did not disappoint. We were there for a paint your pet fundraiser and were upstairs in the event space. The staff was very nice, taking food and beverage requests for the group and delivering them upstairs. I appreciated the time one of the employees took to answer my many questions about the beer and seltzer options. I chose the Growling Mule, which was delicious. The space was welcoming, bathroom was clean, with the biggest win being the option of food at the brewery. I posted multiple pictures of the outside space and of The Barrel Room. We enjoyed our first visit and will plan on returning soon!“

From the parsnip soup to the fried gnocchi, and then the black cod which had the crispiest skin I've ever tasted on a fish combined with melt in your mouth tenderness underneath. The meat on it was a little dry and it could have used a bit more of the delicious hollandaise sauce. The chicken and waffles was good, but could have used more flavor. “Pretty good spot for coffee in the North Loop! The space here is very beautiful, it's huge and nicely decorated. I really liked the ambiance and it seems like a great place to work or meet up with friends. The coffee is pretty decent, and they have cool merch on display. The pastry I tried had a great flavor, but it was very dry --- I think they might benefit from having a door on the back of the pastry case. Overall, I think this place is pretty good and worth checking out if you are in the North Loop.“

The atmosphere is relaxing and inviting. Background music adds to the great vibe here. This is one of the easier-to-get-to coffee shops in Minneapolis as it is near the hustle and bustle of the city but situated in a quiet neighborhood not far off the beaten path. “I was fortunate enough to experience the Tuesday night 10 course kaiseki seasonal tasting menu. Each course was beautifully presented and presented authentic Japanese tastes and textures that reflected the spring season. The staff were attentive and accommodating. For example, noticing that my wife was left handed her table setting was set up to reflect that. That has happened to her only one other time. A small thing for sure, but reflective of the care and attention to detail that was put into everything. Kado No Mise provides an elegant dining experience from the dinnerware to interior design. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.“

“This place was pretty dope. If you are looking for a Chicago Italian beef dipped with peppers and cheese, this is a safe place. It was above average good but the gyro fries stole the show, they weren't over seasoned like too many other places. Best thing about the place was that it was spotless. From the seats to the ketchup and mustard bottles...spotless. keep it up. This is my go to for Italian beef dipped with hot peppers and cheese until I find different.“
