“Food was delicious. One would need the open mind and the platelet to enjoy the wide variety of foods and flavors. Enjoyed a large meal and blood sugar levels were low after a large amount of desserts. This is just a WOW. Thank you ??.Vegetarian options: Lots of dishes with just sweet potatoes.Kid-friendliness: Small chairs and large tables to fit entire family.Wheelchair accessibility: There was a ramp“
“Had 2 takeouts by now, extremely good tomato sauce and balanced cheese with fresh basil. Crust could be a bit more chewy and flavorful (with a higher mineral content like authentic French bakeries). Service is impeccable, truly old world generosity - we mentioned the crust was a tad on the burnt side the first visit and they gave us a free bowl of roasted carrots (which were also flavorful). Will be back again and again, and I can imagine their chefs only getting better with time“
“Francis is AWESOME and I highly recommend it. I'm not vegan, but I can't have dairy, so it's such a relief to not have to check menu ingredients because I know I can have every single thing on the menu! Also, as someone who does eat meat, I am seriously blown away by how good their plant based burgers (and even their chicken nuggets!) are! Each menu item is well thought out and combines things I've never tried or thought to mix, and I'm happily surprised every time. Also, as someone who doesn't drink alcohol, this is my favorite spot for NA cocktails and beverages! They have dedicated drinks on the menu without alcohol (gotta try the "Beets Me", it's delicious), and can make many of their other drinks NA as well!P.S. their bathrooms are so coolVegetarian options: Everything is vegan!Dietary restrictions: Many of their menu items also have the option to be made gluten free (they have gluten free buns)Parking: There's always some amount of street parking. Depending on how busy it is, you may have to walk half a block, but I've never had an issue finding a spot.Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly! They have high chairs available for younger kids, and I always see families eating there.“
“I recently visited Lake and Irving for dinner before a concert. Nate our server was amazing. He was attentive to the table's needs and gave great recommendations. The food, the atmosphere, and the hospitality were amazing. I'll be making it a point to come back.“
“We love this place. We always end up ordering enough food for the week because we want to try all the things. The side dishes are seasonal and always the highlight. Live the dark atmosphere. Book your reservation early it's hard to get in.“
“Cool burger restaurant. Lots of options for burgers with some other stuff available. Fries are great. Burgers were very juicy (and oily, especially the 60/40 burger). Service is excellent and fast. Atmosphere is also very nice with comfy seating and TVs. Would recommend if you want a solid “
“The space is gorgeous and beautifully decorated. The staff are SO nice. They are also dog friendly and where absolutely welcoming of my beast, even when she knocked over my drink. Even then they demanded we bring her back weekly. 100000/10 would recommend“
“It was a pleasure to meet Joe! Despite everything being full of hate, "America" I was delighted to have Joe as my server, and he was marvelously amazing! Let's get out of our comfort zones and say hi, hi, greet, and simply be kind to each other! My partner Brian and I are following Joe's footsteps.“
“Shockingly good food. Wouldn't necessarily expect much from the name or exterior, but, walk in, and the smells let you know the kitchen is working on something delicious. Loved everything we had, and we also really enjoyed the family atmosphere.“
“Best brunch in town, hands down. We've had just about everything on the menu and it's all top notch. Their Desayuno burrito is the literal best breakfast burrito in town (I usually substitute the carnitas for chicken tinga, so good). The huevos rancheros obviously follows suit. That verde is to die for. The eggs benedict is beyond compare. The brussels sprout hash is fantastic too. So well balanced with goat cheese and bacon and everything, really, if you're thinking about it at all, get it. The BK Sammie is legit. Seems simple, but it's got texture, brioche bun, salt, savory--if you like breakfast sandwiches, this one will ruin you for eating them elsewhere. The abelskivers come out so hot and you will burn your everything on them, but it'll be worth it. Their hash browns are perfection, but you can customize them. Want them extra crispy? Want some cheese on them? Add onions? Etc, etc. They have drip coffee, but they also have a full barista station and you can get your fancy lattes, etc. For lunch: the Standish potatoes are potato discs fried with garlic and spices and you didn't know they existed before, but now that you do, you'll crave them. And don't slouch on their veggie side of the day. It changes all the time, but it's been amazing every time. The Reuben and BLT are solid choices, they're a step above ones you've had elsewhere. The light field chicken sandwich is where it's at. But, really, that Desayuno burrito and all the breakfast food is still available at lunch time and it's still worth considering. Also, every single person working there is amazing. They're all so friendly, patient and fun. Usually see the same wait staff visit to visit, so it must be a good place to work. Really cozy spot with good people and amazing food.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs, kids menus and crayons. Staff is great with kids and super patient.“
“This place is small but BOY is it good! Their flavors are more upscale and unique compared to your typical scoop shop. Sometimes I feel like places are trying to make these new fangled flavors just to seem cool and edgy, but not here. These flavors ACTUALLY work. Are they cool and edgy? Maybe. But they're also really really good. The burgers and cheese curds are great too. There's not much else on the menu but what they do, they do VERY well and I have no complaints.“
“This is one of our go-to restaurants in the North Loop! Their food is amazing, the chicken sandwich is to die for, and the Thr3 Jack burger is just as good as Parlour! The cocktails are delicious, and the atmosphere is cozy, yet cool. Highly recommend to anyone, especially if it's warm enough to sit on the patio at the bar.Parking: There is a parking ramp right next door, as well as street parking throughout the whole neighborhood.“
“I did not think this “shack” would be my go-to coffee shop. But, holy cow - it’s the BEST! I can walk to two Caribous and a Starbucks, but I prefer to get on the highway just for a coffee from Mudslingers. Something about the espresso there just doesn’t even compare to other places, even some of the more hipster and bougie coffee shops. I’m utterly impressed. Keep doing what you’re doing.“
“First time here today for chess club meetup. I was greeted right away and the gentleman/owner was super nice and helpful. Fun yet low key environment that had cool decor with fun chairs, tables and keys on the wall. It was clean, they played good music, kinda like an upbeat coffee house. They let us bring in our own snacks. They have beer, soda, seltzer and 2 NA drinks available along with pretzels for purchase. Will come back!“
“Great ambience!!! Fun space and not too busy on a Saturday afternoon to bring my boys! Beer was great! Many different Pilsners to choose from! And some good N/A options for the kids. Fun and friendly staff and added bonus of a parking lot!!“
“Very nice restaurant, parking kind of sucks but thats downtown Minneapolis on general. Had a very good breakfast there, portions are surprisingly large so I think you get what you pay for. Highly recommend.Parking: Either $3.00 per hour on street parking or there is also a garage to park in but I didn't go there so I don't know how much that is other than it is paid for.“
“I took my family to Kruse Market for brunch. What a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is amazing along with the owner and the staff. The quiche was amazing along with the salad. My grandson had the yogurt granola which was great. The coffee was awesome. I highly recommend this place for brunch or any meal. Can't wait to come back!“
“I tried two of their IPAs and they were really good and I brought a smashed crab sandwich from Coastal Seafoods which was really good. The beer had a lot of good hops, but they took my credit card for the tab? What? Do you really think I was going to run out of my tab on you? That was really off putting. The music was super loud, and I could barely tell what my wife was saying.Good beer though.“
“I'm gonna go ahead and add to these 5* reviews because they deserve them! We ordered at least 3 times back to back. The owner recognized me on the 2nd visit, which I appreciated. The pizza is always fresh, looks AMAZING, tastes GREAT, AND THE OWNER HANDS YOU YOUR FOOD WITH PRIDE! Oh! Yes, vegan sausage (soy) and vegan cheese (non soy ? ) available. One of my visits, there was a young man doing homework and eating pizza. It was a picturesque moment of a student after school hanging at the pizza spot. The prices are decent, too. Even though I do carry out, I made sure to tip because of the quality service and food. The photos are the first visit. Each visit after has been just as beautiful and tasty. I ordered without cheese, just to see how flavorful the sauce was. The sauce was SO flavorful, I did not miss cheese. Mind = BLOWN. The owner put me on to "fried peppers." When I tell you they add heat?!? So delicious! They are the peppers on the non-cheese pizza in the photos. Fresh veggies. Fresh basil! We love the crust. Crispy, chewy, and yummy! This place is worth it. Awesome location, tables and chairs to eat in, cute window seating, and super cool vibe. Seriously, give them some of your time and money.3.2.24 UPDATE: Back again... THEY DO NOT MISS! This is what you call CONSISTENCY! Today was a cheese pizza with Italian seasonings and light white onion on half. They NAILED it! No need to request extra cheese or well done. This is real pizza.Vegetarian options: Vegan cheese and sausage (soy) available“
“Urban Growler did not disappoint. We were there for a paint your pet fundraiser and were upstairs in the event space. The staff was very nice, taking food and beverage requests for the group and delivering them upstairs. I appreciated the time one of the employees took to answer my many questions about the beer and seltzer options. I chose the Growling Mule, which was delicious. The space was welcoming, bathroom was clean, with the biggest win being the option of food at the brewery. I posted multiple pictures of the outside space and of The Barrel Room. We enjoyed our first visit and will plan on returning soon!“
“The building and decor are beautiful. The cashier was very nice. I would recommend the tomato soup and focaccia. My sandwich was ok cold sandwiches are not my favorite. I also got a delicious tiramisu I think they should come out with some warm ones. A little pricey but overall a good experience.Vegetarian options: They have a couple of vegetarian options but not very many vegan ones.“
“I can't believe we were the only people in here. I mean, this place is a gem. The Dipper and the Hot Club with trout were 10/10, no question. The attention to detail in these sandwiches and the smoking process was not lost on us, we can't wait to come back! Very friendly, skilled staffVegetarian options: Roast Beets sandwich, Grilled Veggies sandwich, sides, drinks“
“Unfortunately couldn't capture a photo because we ate the food so fast!We ordered the gyro, waslad, and boy we could not have been happier with our meal. The spices, tenderness, and how they fried their food could not have been more perfect. Their sauces are spicy yet not overwhelming. I'm surprised I haven't heard of this place, it should be on everyone's hot list for the Twin Cities.“
“As the name suggests, this place is all about being social. You definitely want to come with a group. My party of two stopped by on a trivia night and, even with the host on the loud speakers, I'd say the sound split was 55/45 in favor of guest chatter. Nicely varied selection of drinks, and the food truck has a solid burger. Tots were a bit over seasoned for my taste.“
“Delicious food as always. Depending on your waiter, my partner and I were treated differently (negatively) than the folks sitting around us. Felt rushed to finish, even though it wasn’t busy. The waitress was rude and didn’t even stop by to fill our water once. She was short and rude to us while providing service, but the people seated to our sides were given a positive attitude and were told the special of the day etc. planning to just order to go next time we get a craving to avoid the negativity.“
“We recently enjoyed the the Köld Kolsch from Fair State. We do like our kolsch beers and we enjoyed this one fairly well. It had all the features and highlights like a kolsch should. With this beer the flavor highlights are crisp ,clean, bready and some presence of graininess. It was a very refreshing beer and one that we liked quite a bit as the heat of midsummer cranked up a few notches when we enjoyed this Kolsch a few weeks ago.“
“I recently dined at Fhima's, where Sean, the sommelier, provided an exceptional experience. His expertise shone as he recommended the perfect wine pairing for the Pulpa dish, enhancing the flavors and making the meal truly memorable. The thoughtful guidance added a delightful touch to the overall dining experience, making Fhima's a must-visit for those seeking a harmonious fusion of exquisite cuisine and expertly curated wine selections.“
“We had to make some last minute changes and reach out to El Jefe to see if they could assist us with our grooms dinner. Everyone was amazing through the whole process and very accommodating. The food was incredible and served fast. Even with the 100 degree weather Miguel made sure we had a great time. Thank you El Jefe!“
“I've been here a handful of times for their coursed menu and most recently the offerings were delicious. From the parsnip soup to the fried gnocchi, and then the black cod which had the crispiest skin I've ever tasted on a fish combined with melt in your mouth tenderness underneath. Still thinking about how they were able to achieve that.Basically, do their coursed meal and come hungry and you will not be disappointed.“
“I stoppped by with my kids and husband for coffee. The coffee was good, the doughnut iced with brown butter frosting was amazing! The vibe was really friendly. There were multiple families as well as an area mostly filled with solo people working. Dogs welcome. We hope to return next time we are in the area.“
“First time here. First impression is the amazing service. Michael and Max are a dynamic duo. Extremely personable. They look you in the eye when answering questions. And Max is hilarious to boot. Very fun entertainment. Not to mention the cocktails are really incredible. They will make and adjust your drink until you are 100% satisfied. Will be coming back for their cribbage tournaments. Even though we live on the other side of the metro.“
“We visited Headflyer yesterday during the Johnny Athletic podcast recording. Packed house. Our first visit to this brewery and we were impressed. Excellent beer. I had the Feel the Flow Golden Ale. A great choice for me. My wife enjoyed the Root Down. Friendly staff. Nice size parking lot.“
“The food is fantastic and the service goes above and beyond! I have a disabled husband and they are always quick to make sure he is seated where he is comfortable and they take care of his walker. We started going on Monday nights for supper and video bingo and we have a blast!!!!“
“I met up with some friends to do the wine and tarot card reading event for Halloween night. Tickets had to be pre-purchased. Located in a small business strip with a shared parking lot. When we got there we sat at an high table and ordered some wine glasses and snacks sold at the wine room while waiting for our readings. Wine and food was good. Overall experience was fun and I'd like to come Back and try other menu items too.“
“The lovely barista recommended I put some cardamon on my latte- it was incredible. Thanks so much- I really enjoyed it.The cafe is quaint, the service is kind and helpful. The food people had looked tasty. I only wish I could have stayed longer. Will be back!“
“A cosy brewery where you can sit down with your buds and enjoy every sip. They have a good variety of beers on tap and few seasonal ones as well. You can have free popcorns on the side to enjoy with your beers. They have limited seating for up to around 10 tables, so chose a not so busy time to go there and make the most of it. ?“
“Always love coming here, no matter what time of day! They were very busy, but we were seated in about 10 minutes. I had the eggs Benedict. The meat on it was a little dry and it could have used a bit more of the delicious hollandaise sauce. The chicken and waffles was good, but could have used more flavor. The breakfast skillet was very good. The cinnamon roll was delicious!“
“Pretty good spot for coffee in the North Loop! The space here is very beautiful, it's huge and nicely decorated. I really liked the ambiance and it seems like a great place to work or meet up with friends. The coffee is pretty decent, and they have cool merch on display. The pastry I tried had a great flavor, but it was very dry --- I think they might benefit from having a door on the back of the pastry case. Overall, I think this place is pretty good and worth checking out if you are in the North Loop.“
“Inconsistent quality of the coffee. We have been a few times and the quality of the espresso seems to depend on how busy the place is and who is working. The atmosphere is cute with friendly staff but for consistently quality for those serious about coffee, I’d head elsewhere. However, I have loved several of their seasonal non- coffee drinks!“
“Haven't been there in a while but I'm so glad to see they are still there. Great coffee, service(quick and efficient) and the atmosphere is THE best I've ever experienced in a coffee house. The staff is friendly and so are the customers. Outside seating is great. I love that there are spaces, on the street, reserved for motorcycles. Prices, for a coffee house of this caliber, are inexpensive. I used to live in the neighborhood and Bob's became my go to. Thank you.“
“It’s a 4 degree Fahrenheit day in Minnesota and there is no better way to spend the morning than visiting a coffee shop. I stumbled upon Up Cafe. What a treat! The atmosphere is relaxing and inviting. Background music adds to the great vibe here. This is one of the easier-to-get-to coffee shops in Minneapolis as it is near the hustle and bustle of the city but situated in a quiet neighborhood not far off the beaten path. They make a crave-worthy oat milk latte that I will come back for!Parking: This coffee shop has ample, no hassle street parking and a small attached lot.“
“The last two words "Coffee gallery" perfectly describes the coffee shop! It's cool seeing the different kinds of art work, also two huge plusses are there's plenty of tables and there's a parking lot!! For the amount of people that were there it wasn't super loud either! Will for sure be coming back again!“
“Really good service, a nice open space, and a wide variety of beer choices (which are all done pretty well). They have a food truck available generally and it is a great place pre- or post- Twins games or other Target Field events. They have an arcade week, which was on Nov 6-12th this year, where they brought in something like 15 games and you could play all of them on free play with a $5 wristband. So much fun for the family at this event.“
“This is my favorite food truck to go to. Their tacos are so good, good portion size and good price. Every time I have the opportunity, I make sure to stop by to get some tacos. The person serving / preparing the food is also very polite, nice, and friendly. Highly recommend them!!“
“I was fortunate enough to experience the Tuesday night 10 course kaiseki seasonal tasting menu. Each course was beautifully presented and presented authentic Japanese tastes and textures that reflected the spring season. The staff were attentive and accommodating. For example, noticing that my wife was left handed her table setting was set up to reflect that. That has happened to her only one other time. A small thing for sure, but reflective of the care and attention to detail that was put into everything. Kado No Mise provides an elegant dining experience from the dinnerware to interior design. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.“
“I don't get here often but when I do it's consistently good beer and friendly staff. I was last in a few weeks ago when they released their collab beer w Community Hops, a Longfellow IPA. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful when I've tried to pick a few beers to have 5 oz pours of. Parking can be a little tricky on a Friday at 5:00 as I found out in June, they have a limited number of parking spaces so....may the odds be in your favor. Cheers!“
“Great brewery. Service is always great, beers are highly drinkable and delicious. There's something for everyone. Love the building and outdoor area. Super family/kid friendly and dog friendly too. It's also a great place to grab some amazing food from Animales Food truck right outside.“
“Used to go to high school over there in that area and go to Preparatory college at McAlester right next to the restaurant didn't know they changed it from the St Croix Broiler to the pizzas Philly steak place but it was a good change cuz it is really good really good atmosphere and the price is right. Charles don't forget to check me out on YouTube Charles Simmons in Minneapolis.“
“My husband I have been coming here for a couple years now and we LOVE it. As frequent brewery visitors, out of all that we have been to around the Twin Cities WSB is by far our favorite. The hospitality and atmosphere this place brings is unmatched. (Of course, we also LOVE their beer!) We always get a friendly smile and a delicious pint. Highly highly recommend.“
“This place was pretty dope. If you are looking for a Chicago Italian beef dipped with peppers and cheese, this is a safe place. It was above average good but the gyro fries stole the show, they weren't over seasoned like too many other places. Best thing about the place was that it was spotless. From the seats to the ketchup and mustard bottles...spotless. keep it up. This is my go to for Italian beef dipped with hot peppers and cheese until I find different.“
