“5 stars is not nearly enough stars for this place. I have celiac disease (severe wheat/gluten allergy) and when I saw gluten free cheese curds and gluten free fried pickles on the menu, I about cried. I haven’t had cheese curds or fried pickles at a sports bar since I was diagnosed 11 years ago. Their food is absolutely incredible- something you normally wouldn’t expect from a place like this. I’m so grateful to whoever created the menu!

“I don’t usually spend much time or money at airport bars, and this one isn’t much to look at. HOWEVER, if your layover has you at MSP International, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR! Sit down at this funky, bisected little family-operated bar/restaurant. The prices are low, the drinks are strong, and the staff… I’ll get back to them.

The food is affordable and elevated. This little place is punching way above its weight. As for the staff, I’ve never felt more cared for. Airport bartenders are not necessarily known for their interpersonal amiability; however, Lindsay, my server and bartender, was truly attentive to all my silly quips. She even suggested pairing my meal with tomato soup.

The tomato soup was fantastic, as was the cheese sandwich. But the real gem was the burrata salad. It featured very fresh arugula, freshly sliced cherry tomatoes, fire-roasted sweet peppers with balsamic glaze, and a fist-sized portion of the freshest mozzarella I’ve ever had in my life.

“We came in on the 19th of October for my son's birthday with a limo full of people and we had the best time we are all dressed up in costumes and they had had a costume contest the night was just so much fun you really had a good time thank you opinion“

But not only was the service superb but the food was EXCELLENT! While our friends ordered the walleye and steak, my wife ordered the special of the day: a baked AND grilled chicken on a bed of rice with the tastiest curry we've ever had. I ordered the shrimp tacos BUT WAIT ... Substituted with baked walleye - absolutely heavenly along with the crispiest sweet potato tacos

“Great place to eat! My husband and I are from out of town and this place was close to our hotel. We have our usual spots when we come to town and wanted something new. So glad we chose Yankee Tavern! It was delicious and our server, Maggie was top notch! She was the best! She recommended some great dishes and brought us some delicious tacos to try. “just we had a bad experience yesterday. my husband ordered the el pastor with corn tortillas the waitress comes back with our food and said they ran out of tortillas and they had to make some, and does he still want them of course he does after about 5 mins we stopped her and she says the cooks don't want to listen to her. so about 8 mins later she comes back with 3 tore up looking tortillas. we go to pay the bill mind you I left a 6 dollar tip even tho she took ten mins to greet us and ask if we needed drinks. my bill was 51.52 I gave her a60.00 she asked if I needed change. I said yes she then pulls a paper and try to subtract 51.52 from 60.00 she gave me 4 dollars back I was already home when I counted the change she gave me back“

I also want to give a shout out to one of the managers, Calvin who intervened when he saw a man at the bar harassing me.
