“Milly’s is an absolute gem in Minneapolis! The wine selection is impressive, with a great variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options that catered perfectly to our group. The food, especially the charcuterie boards, was delicious and beautifully presented. Don’t miss out on the French onion soup! Our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. A special shoutout to Timothy, the sommelier, who was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us pick the perfect pairings for our meal. Laura helped me pick out an incredible cocktail and both Venus and the bartender (forgot to ask for a name) came by to show extra love for our first visit. “-Vinai MN- My friend and I wanted to try Chef Yia's restaurant due to being homesick and wanting hmong food. We were met with such great service and sat where we could see the work area. Chef Yia was so kind and started us off with a complimentary appetizer, rice Curry balls. We ordered and the food came so fast. As soon as I took a bite, my eyes started to get teary because it tasted like food from home. I started fanning myself to not cry which Chef Yia saw and asked if the food was too spicy. We then started to explain that we were not from MN and were feeling a bit homesick and how the food reminded us of home. Chef Yia then said, here let's do this. He returned with a pot of beef soup that consisted of mushrooms, bamboo shoots, beef and green onion and white rice and shared that this dish was one of those dishes that we would eat at gathering and events. We we so shocked and so at loss with his kindness and compassion. We both took a bite and immediately lighted up. It tasted like my mom's cooking 💓. As we were nearing the end of our meal, Chef Yia told us not to stuff ourselves too full and surprised us with a complimentary dessert which further awed us. We were so lost at words for Chef Yia's kindness, generosity and comfort. We chose the Lava Cake and it was soooo good! I normally don't like sweets but we devoured this 😋. 1000/10 would recommend.“

“My waiter Addison was great and very attentive. However, the short rib sandwich was over cooked and over priced. On line there were a couple of items that I didn't see on the actual menu while at the restaurant. We were given the lunch menu at the front door, this really confused me, later Addison eventually figured it out. The rest of the experience was nice. The comedy acts were funny, except for the second to last guy, that totally bombed, as part of his act was to call all women bitches. He was poorly prepared, and otherwise was not funny at all, and should not be invited back.“

“Nice little hole in the wall spot on Central Ave. Busy street makes for easy access by foot, but not car. So it’ll appeal to some but maybe not all. Drinks were great! The apricot old fashioned was phenomenal. Didn’t get food because there wasn’t much of a menu, but smaller items to snack on. Not really a dinner spot but definitely a romantic date spot with great drinks and service. $4 Hamms for HH is excellent.

“Ordered a classic Rachel and side salad. Sandwich filling was plentiful and came with side of 1000 island fir dipping but was a little on the dry side. Side salad was standard not outstanding but fresh. Spent a minute with table mates guessing the purple ingredient which was onion not a beet.“

“The turkey leg from The Kitchen by Baked Brand is straight fire🔥 so tender, flavorful, and addictive I could honestly eat one every day. The mac and cheese is hands down the best I’ve ever had creamy, cheesy, and perfectly baked. My only suggestion would be to leave the turkey leg whole, so I can enjoy breaking into it myself!“
