“The service was friendly and efficient for my take out order. Please note: On top of regular menu prices, they charge you an extra fee for packaging takeout even though Dining in requires dishes and waitress service... And maybe even to-go boxes. The takeout meal was over $40 for 2 people with no beverages.“

“We were here for dinner over the weekend and everything about this place was phenomenal we tried multiple things off of the to share or not portion of the menu and loved every bit of it. The whole grilled fish our waitress mentioned rotates depending on what is available fresh and it was cooked to Perfection and probably our favorite thing all weekend. The cocktail menu is unique and everything that we had the opportunity to try was delicious I highly recommend doing the cocktail flight to anybody who doesn't have a favorite spirit. Staff was incredibly friendly and knew what they were talking about if you had questions. To those looking at going here reservations are a must!!!! Great atmosphere as well“

“We had a fantastic date night at Joan’s! Highly recommend! The food was incredible. Perfect pacing, portions, wine pairings, and the flavors have you closing your eyes to experience each bite. “Amazing! We stopped here for our first time for pre-event drinks with our friends. We anticipated having one cocktail and being on our way, but were instead treated to something more akin to an experience! The GM greeted us and took our order and made sure we got to try more than just our drinks. A whole story about finding someone to re-tie my husband’s bow tie turned into a hilarious challenge for most of the staff. Even to the point that the assistant GM was going to drive to Von Maur while we finished our drinks (we declined..but wow). What kind of place does this!? Our cocktails were amazing, the charcuterie plate was delicious (the jam, honey, and cheese…just wow). But most of all, the staff made everything so memorable. We’ve never experienced anything like this! We will be back soon for a full dinner. Thank you for making our night so enjoyable!“

“We celebrated with dinner at the Lexington and it was a perfect spot to try! Our waitress, Grace, was phenomenal and so attentive to us. She helped us celebrate with a surprise photo and ice cream sweet:) She went above to help our experience be wonderful! We loved the valet option and enjoyed our first time at the Lexington! 🥰“

“So happy to see Dark Horse open and vibrant again! We couldn’t choose what to get, so we ordered an extra entree so we didn’t miss out. The chicken sandwich is a must, the mushroom burger was the perfect comfort food, and the meatballs/pasta was the perfect entree to make sure we had leftovers. If you like a creamy Caesar dressing, you’re going to LOVE that as well.

“I really enjoyed the atmosphere here. It was slow so I would think that more attention would be placed on the customers that did come into this place but nope. It's kinda like a self service restaurant where the only interaction with the staff is when they bring out your food and drinks.
Why would I even tip in such a place but AI did anywho. Next time I'll just order to go . The wings were good and extra sauce to add ..it lacks a bit“

“Wow! We just had breakfast at the Uptowner; this place is our new favorite for many reasons! Everything we ordered: pancakes, omelets, eggs benne and hash browns were some of the best we’ve ever had served to us. Our server was also so genuinely kind and attentive! “Always a top food choice at mn state fair and worth the 5 to 10 minute wait in line!
Ive been getting this corn on a cob ladt 40 plus years and so greatful for tjus option at the fair.
Only thing I can think of for improvement is to offer outside the fair and in winter months/not just late summer“

Very cool & well designed with a great vibe, beautiful bar area where you can comfortably dine also. Which is aso the main diningroom with views of the kitchen & Chefs creations. Food was out of the park; 2 chicken entrees & the Walleye-and let's not forgot the delicious chocolate mousse dessert! Will always plan a dinner here we visit again.“

I was visiting my former DeafBlind client and after I left her house i decided to find a place to eat, then I discovered this. “I gave the food 5 stars but it's really 4 stars. That's my rating but most people that like their food will give 5 stars. To me 5 stars is THE BEST. Don't mistake, the food was fantastic. Got salty Calamari, General Tsos Chicken and Hot and Sour soup. We did take out, 3i miles away. The Calamari was OK but may have been better eating in. Calamari 3 stars, good. We would order it again. General Tsos chicken was very good. Not spicy but good. I will absolutely order again. We opted for fried rice instead of white rice. It was very good. 4 stars. The hot and Sour soup was fantastic. I was already full and had to finish it. It's as close to 5 stars as I can give. The ambiance is not why you would ever go here, so 3 stars. But that's OK! Service was prompt but not personable. No eye contact etc. Do I care? No. 4 stars.“

The alligator is seasoned and fried to a golden crisp. Served with sweet and savory hush puppies, it's a unique and delicious combination that's definitely worth trying at least once.“
