“I enjoy the atmosphere whenever I visit. The waitresses are always so friendly. I was with a team of people (my job met there) last night (4/1/24), we had to flag a waitress down to take our order for food and drinks outside of the many appetizers my boss ordered. That's not usually the case though. Once someone came, she was wonderful. I don't come to this establishment too often anymore due to me no longer working in the area, but whenever it's an option, I am always a fan. The broasted chicken and au gratin potato are the absolute best. Thank me later.“

“Cannot say enough good things about our experience at Zambonis on 7th!! Stopped in Friday and camped out and ate and loved the entire experience! We attempted to give wild bills our business Saturday night, and after awful service we left and returned to zambonis! The food, drinks, and atmosphere are everything you would want from a local bar/restaurant! Ps...ask for Gus! He is hilarious!“

“A group of 30 of us came in for brunch on Saint Patrick's Day (we did have reservations), and even though they were ridiculously busy, we found easy parking and were greeted with friendly smiles from the energetic staff. They patiently took our orders and didn't even flinch when we needed them separated. Every staff member was great! Our food came out promptly and tasted delicious, and we all left happy with full bellies, ready for the day. It's rare to find such genuine, good places nowadays, but this one of them for sure!“

“This was a perfect stop after marching in the St Patricks Parade in St Paul. The food was delicious our server was excellent. The vibe was very chill and that is what we were looking for. We will definitely be back. Oh and the Irish Cheesecake was a treat with a twist.?☘️“

“You will not find a better bowling alley at a more affordable cost. $8 all you can bowl for 1 & 1/2 hour, shoes included on Weekdays & $11 for weekends. Multiple dart boards, three pool tables, and TouchTunes with short wait times. Amazing spot for family or friends fun!“

“Holy bananas. This place is great! Food was amazing, service was great, atmosphere was awesome for us. I say for us because it was right after open and it was empty. Right up my alley. The bartenders (Jaden I believe and another sweet girl but I didn't ask her name) were knowledgeable and friendly. Beer was fresh tasting. Food wise, the jalapeños tasted like they were just sliced. So fricken fresh and spicy! We got the totchos (exactly what it sounds like and DANK) and the firehouse 21 burger. We ordered it medium, didn't come out pink but it was so damn juicy and tender I don't even care.Overall, 10 out of 10, no notes. Even the burps taste good.“

“Quick stop here for a birthday drink! Their bloody Mary's are very good! The staff was very welcoming and accommodating to the customers. They are good for any size group and close to the hockey stadium near by for post game celebrations. A great place to watch sporting events too.“

A month ago I asked him about desserts and if he planned on getting any on the menu, yesterday the menu was updated and with new items along with 3 dessert options. “Dinner was FANTASTIC!! We had a lovely meal and had an amazing server - shout out to Lauren. She even put in the kids meals as appetizers to come out first, without us asking, which was amazing. I highly recommend the salmon & au gratin potatoes. We used to come here all the time when we lived just down the street, but we moved across the cities and haven’t been back in a while. It was a great experience and we’ll definitely make the drive to come back. Atmosphere was beautiful; the warm lights inside are so cheery.“

“We came here in a party bus for my son‘s 21st birthday, and I have to say, for the size group we came in with on an already busy night, we were taken such great care of. Peter is the man! “Came for Friday fish fry (available during Lent). Definitely recommend reservations- this place was packed! The battered pollock was tasty and filling. Accompaniments are coleslaw and fries. Food comes out faster than anywhere I've seen. Good selection of beer on tap.“

“A group of us came here Sunday for Breakfast and bingo to celebrate a birthday. We arrived shortly after 9:00am as bingo starts at 10am and we wanted to eat prior and I heard it can get busy for bingo (that is true). Place is definitely older, but clean and lots of people seem to like it. Breakfast was all you can eat for $9.99/Adult. Talk about a deal! You fill out a paper sheet and your waitress takes it. Food comes out fairly quickly. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. The French toast was SO good. It was definitely a table favorite. Scrambled eggs, potato cake, and sausage patty were also tasty. Can't beat the price for breakfast or bingo. Cheap tab- just what I like. Our waitress was nice and friendly. She was the only one in our area and she handled it well. Bingo is set up well and the ladies move it along which is nice. $10/pack and you are able to buy extra for the games. I'll be back to enjoy another Sunday breakfast and bingo soon.“

“I went there with the boys the other day and had a few pitchers. I ordered the Waygu cheese burger with bacon and one of my buddies ordered the ham and grilled cheese sandwich. The burger was delicious and not at all dry. My buddy said his grilled cheese sandwich was great. They come with battered fries which were perfectly seasoned. The only thing was, I wish they came with pickles. We are definitely going there again when we get together again.“

Their fried pickle chips are awesome, wings great even sauceless (got dipping sauces on side), walleye fries were great, the only thing we were so so on were the nachos. The restaurant was nice and clean, which I liked a lot, they really take care of the dining area making sure the tables are clean/sweeping up crumbs. A great place to grab a bite to eat. “Simply the best! They even remember my father's my father's order each and every time I go there. They take care to separate my order from my father's order, and my father and I talk NASCAR with the cooker a pleasant conversation. My dad, bread, and born in Chicago. Told me, hey! “I've gone here a few times in my life living in the neighborhood down the street from this place. It's been several names but now it's Cheer's Pub after the latest ownership change. They run a decent bar, seem to keep tabs on the patrons and it's a decent hangout. It's a typical neighborhood bar with a lot of regulars, cheap drinks, pull tabs, plus some stuff good...football nights, live music with local cover bands and some homegrown musicians, and Karaoke nights. The food here with the new owners is actually pretty damn good for a bar. I've ate here a couple times and I'd go back for those times I'm peckish and don't want to make anything myself (and they make a good drink). Simple menu: French fries, Mozzarella sticks, Jalapeño poppers, Hot dog, Slaw dog, Polish dog, Burger, Cheeseburger, Chicken drummies/sandwich/tenders, Catfish nuggets, Corned beef or Turkey sandwich.This time around I had the slaw dog (see pic) and it was a good take on a Chicago but with slaw...it's a beaut and tastes great, plus the fresh cut fries were the bomb.“

“Station 280 is simply a great bar. The staff are friendly, honest, attentive, and personable. Whether visiting with a large or small group, or by yourself, there has never a moment where I have been left wondering where the server was. I love the variety of people here, the sort of place where you can get a drink with your boss without feeling too old for the college crowd, or like an outsider due to a mix of blue and white collar professionals as patrons. An extra long bar with plenty of seats, larger serving area that can accommodate a bigger group outing if needed, as well as a few booths/tables provide a great variety of experiences depending on your preference. Parking isn't well marked, but generally you won't be too far from the entry. Bar can be a bit loud inside, but I feel like it reflects more that the customers are enjoying themselves more than anything. I really think Station 280 has something to offer for everyone and would highly recommend for anyone to check it out.“

“If you are on the downtown NSP strip, you should stop in and check this bar out. It definitely has an old school feel and you can tell it has been around since the start. The bartender was very friendly and everyone in this place is a local and seated around the bar. Very affordable drinks and they have great music, pulltabs, dartboards and a lot of seating. They also have a back patio area to hang outside.“

“This West Side Sports Bar & Grill was a treat! The food was delicious and the service was friendly and accommodating. We were a party of 6. I had street tacos ala carte. My niece ordered the Menudo and said it was perfect. We also ordered guacamole, queso and chips for the whole table and that made a great appetizer for the whole table. The chips are made fresh and sprinkled with chili-lime salt... Yum! The guacamole was delicious considering it's mid-March in MN! The Horchata was refreshing and cool and was made 'from scratch' - not a mix. I didn't try the marguerita but it was huge and was happily shared around the table. There were 4 screens playing different sports, including futball and women's college softball. The music was recorded - it was lively and loud ... mostly Mariachi (and Mexican rock?).Parking: Not sure if the street parking is free during the day. We went on Sunday evening and both cars found parking easily. The lot surface is bumpy, so I'm not sure how a wheelchair would do. It is on the first floor - no steps at the entrance. One of us used a rolling walker and was easily able to navigate the front door, but I'm not sure if the door is wide enough for a motorized wheelchair.“

“I happened to find this place when my son had to have emergency surgery...first off, very friendly staff and regulars, could see the stress on my face and were so kind! But the best part, hands down, which is why I'm leaving this review 3 years later is bc Bob's steak sandwich (should be Bob's FAMOUS steak sandwich) was THE F’N BEST sandwich my son and I have ever had - to date! If fact, 3 years later and my son is still talking about Bob's steak sandwich being the best food he's ever eaten! So much so that for his birthday in a few weeks, he doesn't want a party or gifts, just to take a trip to the cities for his favorite dinner!“

“Best priced drinks I've seen in a long time, friendly local bar with happy patrons and prompt service from bartender. For food I believe they have Heggies pizzas however it appeared the patrons bring in potluck style food to share with everyone. Pulltab's available too. We were not locals and were treated well“

“It's surprisingly large. Even if the lot looks full, chances are good that you can get a table immediately. Service is always good, and they've got great specials. Especially happy hour! It's a great place to grab a burger or a couple tacos, and their chili is awesome. The biggest surprise was the salads, though. I didn't expect them to be that good at a bar & grill type place. “A classic Saint Paul neighborhood bar, with simple grub yet so affordable, a mix of Asian and American. All served as takeaway but you can eat it there if you want and the portions are gigantic. There's bingo two nights a week, a Friday afternoon meat raffle, and pulltabs/etabs. Locals are the majority of the clientele but for all its grittiness, it's a safe place with patrons who care about the establishment! Watch out for the parking lot. It's a dirt lot minefield of potholes that will destroy your transmission of you go faster than 1 mph.“

“It's good, except they always try to avoid actually giving you the advertised good discounts. I'm not sure why. But you need to check the bill, and ask for the discount. Then they always put up a fight. Otherwise, the food is great.“

“Good people, pool, and overall fun time. Granted the bar has some flaws (the bar tender over charged me $5 or short changed me), some random guy was bent over getting sick in the bathroom, and the pool tables aren't exactly the straightest I've seen. But overall still for a watering hole or dive-ish bar this place is perfect. Crowd is interesting and seemed to be a mixture of new patrons and regulars and everyone was pleasant and I'd for sure return. Also worth mentioning due to a random incident in the parking lot a few months ago they now had armed security at the door which was also super polite, professional, and for sure made you feel 100% safe while there.“

“What a wonderful creation this place is! Every detail is stunning — the food tastes delicious and is presented so artfully. The space is gorgeously designed, with huge colorful painted walls murals. Cultural authenticity and creative expressivity are beautifully balanced in the unique restaurant RAS. I love it!“

Located just off the exit for 35E in St. Paul, big open parking lot, lots of space inside, bouncer scans your ID upon entrance, a space for arcade games and pool but no stage for live music. My sister has lived less than a block away for 15 years and tells me of drunken fights and gunshots being heard late at night... I'm from out of town and have visited my sister many times over the years but have never stepped foot inside. My curiosity finally got the better of me the other night while visiting again. It was a Tuesday night around 9pm so not crowded at all. We didn't have any food, but they had a nice selection of local beers on tap and we all had a few beers each. Our waitress was super friendly. So not as rowdy as maybe a Saturday night would be but overall we had a pleasant experience.“

Staff was so kind and attentive to our group and we truly appreciate that. “We LOVE this bar. Eagle Street was our go to for after Wild games, but then they closed and we needed to find a new after bar. We tried other bars, but none fit what we needed. Then we tried Wild Bills and it was PERFECT. It was the atmosphere, service, kindness, all of it, rolled in one little package. We were won. The icing on our cake, and why we'll never go anywhere else is their bouncers. CJ and Chris made sure that a wayward cabby, who wouldn't listen, didn't make off with my best friend. Not only did they make him move along and look for someone who ACTUALLY requested service, but they stayed with her while she finished her cigarette, and then made sure she reconnected with me when she came back inside. Safely. I can't tell you enough how much this is appreciated, from both of us. We won't go anywhere else after Wild games because not only do we love PJ and his music selection, but we feel safe and seen not just as a dollar transaction, but people who deserve to feel safe. 10/10“

“Good food and service at a great price. We've gone a couple of times with family and our kids and both times were great! Our oldest actually ate their kids meal of mac and cheese, which is rare. Only negative (which is purely a personal thing related to timing) is that one time we went bingo was happening and it was really loud. It seemed like decent bingo, just not what I was feeling at the time and would make me consider looking at their website for events before deciding when I want to go again.“
