“I tried Trieu Chau for the first time today I had the Bahn Mi. Absolutely fantastic the best bread ever and grilled pork!!! super fresh ingredients. I can’t wait to come back. I live about an hour and a half north of Duluth. If they brought this type of food up by us, they’d be a millionaire overnight nobody is making quality Vietnamese food.!!!!!!!!“

“That's a five star worthy pho. Easily. I'd say this is at the top of my twin cities pho tour. All around fantastic. Cash only, so come prepared. Atmosphere is a bit cramped and not so comfy, but the pho is all the comfort you need haha“

“I've been going here (well actually began eating at the original location next door) for over 25 years! It is my very favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the world! So sad to see it close! We have celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, etc. The family has always been so kind. Mai Village you will be greatly missed!�“

“Phenomenal! Best hot, fresh meal in awhile. Had the Chefs Choice Beef & Shrimp. Excellent, qualiity, savory!! Couldn't put it down. Fried rice was quality with green onions, needed a littlespice though. Also ordered the Szcheuan Wings. Excellent, so good!! Asked for spicy wings, it wasn't spicy enough, probably missed that step.
Wall menu didn't match handheld menu. Service was personable & helpful. Ill be back!!“

“I can only access this place in the late afternoon, but I gotta go as soon as he's finished cooking cause the taste is always close to great. I've read the reviews and I've only ever had the old man, just lucky I guess. If they made lunchboxes I'd eat here every day.“

“Great hole in the wall restaurant, tucked away in a strip mall. If you're driving on University Ave, you might miss it. Their pho is excellent. I'm originally from the west coast. When I was good pho, I go here. Their steamed buns are spot on. Their service is quick. Prices are reasonable and you'll never leave hungry. You can't sleep on their bun rieu. This crab cake noodle soup is hard to find in Vietnamese restaurants in MN. Try it out. You'll be glad you did.“

“Their thai boat for me wasn't good they tasted like package noodles. What was great and probably the best in MN to me is their raw larb. They use real pepper, not dry pepper, not chili flakes, real authentic cayenne pepper. 1 out of 5 places I've been to will use real pepper and not just that, they put mint leaves and lemon grass also. A lot of places just throw in cilantro and green onion, maybe red onion TOO. Their lao papaya is good, full of flavor and spice if you ask for it. I would say 4.5/5 overall as my main interest was their thai boat which wasn't for me. Service was great too.“

“We have been regulars for over 5 years and absolutely LOVE this place. The sesame chicken, PHO, spring rolls, won tons and pad thai always come out perfect. So so good and reasonably priced!“
