9 Best Chicken Restaurants near Woodbury

“Family stopped here on the way to a hockey game in the cities. We experienced some of the best service you could expect from the team on staff. Henry was amazing and quick with our order while we were in drive-thru. Josh W. was very professional, made great small talk, wished us luck at the hockey game and was very quick with changing out our drink order. The team was great and went above and beyond our expectations for a late lunch. Highly recommend this Chick-Fil-a to anyone going through Woodbury, MN. Great workers and customer oriented, we would go back anytime.“

“This is a new fast casual restaurant in Woodbury that hasn’t been open for long.

I ordered a 4 piece tenders with mashed potatoes and gravy. The tenders themselves had very little spice (I like more spice than the average Minnesotan), but the dipping sauce kicked that up a notch and took these tenders to a different level than they were at by themselves. They were not overly juicy, but definitely not dry, and had a slightly thicker batter that wasn’t off putting, just not my preference. The roll was a basic, room temperature roll. I think a warm butter biscuit would serve this restaurant well and fit with the theme a little better. Now, let’s talk about the whipped butter mashed potatoes and gravy. Oh lord!! I would eat these by the bucket. Those delicious, buttery whipped potatoes and southern style (not redeye) gravy had my tastebuds singing hallelujah!!! To top it off, the choice of a free cone with the choice of vanilla, chocolate, or my favorite, twist, made me so happy! It’s that icy, refreshing kind of soft serve that will give you a bit of a brain freeze if you consume it too quickly, but you won’t care, because it hits the spot!

The very best thing about this new restaurant is the people. Every staff member I interacted with was great. They were very welcoming and made me feel like my business mattered to them. They checked on me and everyone else dining in a few minutes after we were served, and invited us to visit them again. I will definitely be back, and hope they offer super sized mashed potatoes by then. I also want to try the wings to see if they are as salty as other reviewers noted here. I did not experience that with any of my items this visit.

They have a large, handicapped accessible restroom, as well as handicapped parking near the entrance.

The tables were clean, and one of the wonderful employees I interacted with also swept the floor while I was there.

Come in and try out this new establishment and give them grace as they learn the ropes and deliver those million dollar smiles!“

“AMAZING! We just happened up this restaurant while attending a carshow event. Everything was made fresh so it took a bit to wait. But it was worth it!! The food was amazing, the value for the cost was fantastic and the staff was wonderful!! Although we do not live or work in this neighborhood, we will definitely be back!!“

“The Coop catered my husband's funeral luncheon. very kind and professional to work with. The food was so good; we had a lot on comments on it. Highly recommend.“

“We’ve only been here twice and both times everyone was extremely helpful. Today we went for the second time and didn’t remember the menu. Colton was very calm and polite. He asked if we wanted him to go through the menu with us. It was just an overall great experience.“

“The Mallards’ smashburger is always one of my favorites no matter which location we visit. Yesterday we celebrated one of my wife’s milestone birthdays and Lisa made the experience memorable! She is so knowledgeable, friendly, humorous, and entertaining. What a treasure for Mallards!“

“Great experience! The restaurant was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The crew members were very polite, friendly, and helpful. Excellent customer service and a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend this place and look forward to visiting again.“

“Love their chicken. The person who took the order from a drive thru asked me if I wanted to make my order 1/2 spicy and 1/2 original which I never order like that before or even been asked for.
The staff is nice and friendly. Always come back to this area. The only bad thing is they don't make Cajun rice anymore so that's not good.“

“I can't believe Im giving them 4 stars - I mean its Popeyes Chicken! But the service was great, and my chicken sandwich was hot, fresh and juicy!!! It's been a bit since I've been. I'll definitely start going more often! Thank you!!“
