She's 12, so her taste buds are still a work in progress, but hey, as long as it makes her happy, right? 😄 As for my husband, he tackled the bacon cheeseburger. Now, here's where things got interesting. The food arrived piping hot, but the location of the Village Inn has some wild intersections, and guess what? A car accident unfolded right before our eyes. my old man had to rush out to help (he's a firefighter), so he ended up eating his burger cold. But guess what? It still hit the spot. “Excellent food and service! We had the California burgers and fries. Our server, Becky, took very good care of us and even gave me a tour of their private dining area for a groom's dinner we have coming up in the summer. We will definitely go back.“

“I thought i would give this a try as I was in the area on a Friday night. The casino is small but offers quite a bit of card games for those who enjoy poker, black jack, pai gao and several others. When you first walk in, the bar area and restaurant greet you, I grabbed a seat at the bar and was quickly offered a water and menu. I ordered a club sandwich and fries($10), my sandwich arrived pretty quickly and was delicious. the club is large and filling, and the fries were tasty. If you are looking for a good value in the Forest Lake area, it's hard to pass up Trout Air Tavern but it does come with whole Casino vibe.“

“I work here and it's the best golf course in Minnesota in my opinion the course is very easy to follow the staff is exceptional, it's really clean, and the atmosphere is amazin. I recommend it to anyone who wants to become a member because it's a private course.“

“My husband and I have been going to the blacksmith restaurant for over 40 years. The only item I have had is their chicken which is addicting. They sell more Broasted chicken than anyone else in Minnesota. All their food is great but it is their chicken for me. At least once a week I have to have it. They have a 12 piece to purchase and take out also….we have done that after eating there !!!!!!!“

“Burgers are overcooked here 80% of the time, it's very frustrating. Chicken tenders are always hot and fresh. Fries are nearly always piping hot, which is impressive. If you special order a burger or especially ice cream, you have only about a 40% chance of them getting it right, which is frustrating. When you hit the right day and they don't overcook the burger patties, their Culver's deluxe burgers are 5 stars plus! I would suggest you skip this Culver's and go to Blaine. They don't burn their burgers.“

“Ate with family and child. We were in for a treat as it was busy. Plenty of other family's, couples, friends, and individual people there eating. Everyone was served swiftly and correctly. Getting pretty drinks from the bar, to a good old beer in a pint. Child also had fun with staff and would play with her when around. Come in if you want a nice night with anybody around!!“

“Shout out to my new favorite spot! This is the only bar in the North Branch area that will play a Packers Game for locals and not just the Vikings games. They are extremely friendly. The owner is amazing and accommodating unlike, sadly, some of the other local owners who won't even make eye contact with patrons. Their food is amazing! The bartender and waitress are hard workers especially given the short staffed situation of all places as of late. We go out alot and this place is the place we will frequent even though it's farther away than others! Love it here. Thanks Friar's!“
