“We frequent Teleo Coffee with our family after moving to St. Louis. As a European, in my first months living in the US, I visited so many coffee shops where I could feel the cozy atmosphere and smooth, delicious coffee like in my homeland, and I found it here. This place has become like a second home to me, especially thanks to the friendly baristas and owner of the establishment. This is the very moment when you come to this cute house with a huge bright veranda and they greet you and call you by name. They also participate in donations, helping different organizations during certain periods with a small percentage of drink sales, which is amazing!P.S. Barista Sarah recommended the Lavender Vanilla Latte to me on one of my first visits, and I've been kind of addicted to this latte ever since. Highly recommend. Thank you, Sarah!“
“This is an order at the counter and pick your seat establishment, so be prepared when you walk in to potentially wait in line for a bit. The service is always top notch and the food is always out fast and well cooked. The restaurant is clean and homey with a fireplace and wooden chairs. There is a little market with on theme home goods, shirts, and toys.“
“Out of all the coffee shops that I have visited within Saint Louis, this is by far the best cafe I have gone to. Whether it be the coffee or pastries, every item that I have tried on the menu has been unforgettable. My personal favorite is the dulce de leche with oat milk. It is sweet and consistently tasty. Not to mention, the environment/staff are friendly, the prices are affordable, and I find myself getting the most work done when I do choose to study.“
“This is absolutely our favorite place for breakfast. The fresh bags are incredible and the gooey butter is out of this world. On a nice day we love sitting in their outside area. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for an authentic St Louis dining experience.“
“I really loved my time here. The staff was very friendly and approachable. They were more than happy to help with games or menus questions. The overall atmosphere was very laid back. My guest and I were there from about 4 pm to 10 pm, and no one pressured us to order anything. They kept our water craft filled and occasionally popped in for friendly conversation. Their color coded flag system at the table is an Ingenous idea to alert staff to your needs. I really appreciate not having to scan the room like an anxious child looking for my server and begging for eye contact so I can flag them down. If you are someone with severe social anxiety like my guest, this Is a pretty solid place.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian sloppy Joe sliders were very good.“
“Places like this are why I'm happy to live in St. Louis. Planted only minutes away from downtown sits a cozy little country style restaurant.Between the eclectic decor and very kind owners I felt like i was sitting down at their kitchen table for a farmers breakfast. There is a small bar off to the back with a lively bunch who seemed like regulars. Off to the side you'll notice a counter with fresh baked pies and bread. Everywhere you look you can feel how much love the owners put into this place.I find myself stumbling into restaurants, wiping sleep from my eyes, muttering coffee please, when most people are going on their lunch break. If you like afternoon brekkie like I do get the farmers choice breakfast. It samples a bit of everything, including either biscuits and gravy or a pancake. The sausage patties are hand made, not some frozen meat pucks. The bacon is THICC, the tattors are crispy, and you can tell the eggs are farm fresh. Their giant fluffy biscuits are even made from scratch. My favorite part of my experience was finding out they make all their hot sauces in house. The garlic Zucchini and mango habanero pack just the right amount of heat. They have an even hotter one which was a bit too much for me, but definitely not overbearing. If hot sauce isn't your thing they even have a smoked salsa you could try.Starting out at the Soulard Farmers Market in 2014 to opening a store front in 2020 these people have built a reputation for themselves and it's no question as to why. I felt like I got a real sense for who they are. Whether they're here serving up smiles or working on their actual farm they love what they do. I'm so happy to have stopped by and got the chance to meet the makers of this incredible establishment. If you're looking for somewhere new to eat this is definitely the spot.“
“Teatopia is my new favorite hidden gem in STL!There are SO many tea options that it can be a bit overwhelming but the owner is extremely helpful and will help find something that you’ll love! The ambiance is laidback and quiet making the back dining room perfect to work from.I got a hot tea with milk and my friend got one of the smoothies with tea in it. We both loved our drinks and can’t wait to come back for food!“
“This is my overall favorite place for coffee in St. Louis. Every cafe has their strengths but this one makes for my overall top rated cafe. Quality service, food, beans, and creativity on their menu all at a good price. Their bottomless drip is just a dollar more than their large, which is very good value!“
“Cute and clean with phenomenal food! I don't understand why this place isn't packed with people!! You can tell they put so much love into their food! I would eat here every day if I could! Hatch'd is a few buildings away and they always have an hour wait for Saturday brunch. This food is just as good if not better if you don't feel like waiting!“
“I am ashamed to admit from the get-go...our food looked so good when it arrived at our table we dug in before taking any pics! Ugh. Once I thought about it I had done enough damage to my salad and plate it wouldn't have been very appetizing. I will say this though...Valentine's Day, sneaking out for lunch with your sweetie, 65 and sunny, AND Union Loafers tees you up for a great day! Happy Valentine's to all and thanks to Union Loafers to making our day even more special. Ambiance is always fun, loud place. We each ordered a chenin blanc, the little gem salad with beets (my favorite salad in STL!). My wife ordered the Turkey Swiss and I had the Bistro Beef. Everything was just outstanding. Of course a loaf of semolina to go. Service was great as always, place was packed. Love, love, love Union Loafers!“
“I have been looking for a place that serves like a Cuban coffee shop, and I stumbled upon this place. I feel like this place is underrated because you would pass this time so quickly while driving through Gravois Street, but don't pass this place up and check them out! There are two stories in this shop, so there is plenty of space for all the guests considering studying here. I love the wood-styled table and chairs; it is a gem!I ordered an iced cafe latte and then the chicken panini.I highly recommend this place, and the service is fast!“
“This place is amazing! The kitties are so cute, and the work the cafe does is great. The place is clean and inviting. I would highly recommend getting a reservation. You get a complimentary drink with your reservation or a discount on other things. This is a great place to spend an hour, plus you get to hang out with adorable kitties! ?“
“So I used to live next door to this place.I had a fiance who was up to no good and pocketing the rent. When our antique row fairy tale ended they bought our building and expected me to pay some undisclosed amount of back rent (pay the rent again sucker! Yeah.sure.)instead of communicating what was going on from the beginning.I now still am unsure what I supposedly owe or how it affected my credit but I basically can't rent anywhere.Fun stuff.Anyway the hipster staff is snarky snobby and rude, but its comical to observe and that absolutely is part of its charm. Its a show.100% The coffee is THE BEST coffee I have ever had.I don't know what it is about it but man...it is VERY good.Amazing.The food is also amazing. Its an adorable place.I am embarassed to go there though I should simply be pturbed but yeah.I never have the money to go out for fancy coffee anyway but yeah...its good.Very good.“
“The kitties were adorable, the staff lovely, the price great. I was only disappointed that there were cats I couldn't get to because they were caged or high up. But I totally understand kitties need their space. Also, we weren't allowed to pick them up, which was disappointing.“
“I really love this place! Delicious food and kind service! the pork donkatsu and crispy fried chicken are great. I get a SDSD and Biscoff Croffle everytime I order, both a perfect street food style treat.Parking: free street parking available“
“Oh my goodness this place is so amazing. I think we will be seeing them grow quickly because it is so fresh and good. Highly recommend if you like bubble tea or even if you don't they have plenty of other drinks. They are so good about letting you have a small sample if you are unsure if you'd like a certain thing. That was me with the Taro which I loved“
“Went here for date night. Very nice inside with flowers on the table. The service is very fast. I have food allergies and I knew I couldn't eat alot of the things on the menu, my boyfriend loves this place and we went here mostly for him, but I was able to have steamed broccoli with noodle rice and carrots and shrimp with no seasoning, they did offer sauce that doesn't have any garlic or onion, but I was still afraid so I just ate it steamed. It was very good. I like how they can accommodate for allergies.“
“Great brunch place. I appreciate the table service which was excellent. The menu selection was varied and I was very pleased with my selection of half a salad and half of a sandwich.Wheelchair accessibility: Zero grade entry. Tables and accessible bathrooms.“
“After a fantastic hike with the Black People Who Hike (BPWH) group, Anita's Cafe was the perfect refuel spot! Their brunch collab with Honeybees Biscuits was a winner. The biscuits and gravy were comforting and delicious. The drinks were just what we needed to rehydrate. I'm excited to go back and try their Mediterranean menu!“
“The charcuterie board I ordered was phenomenal!!! Also the best slice of key lime pie you will find in St. Louis (the owner makes it homemade!)The owner was so sweet and helped each of us at the table pick wine that we would enjoy. Thank you for the hospitality ?“
“Hands down the best Vegan restaurant I have ever had. Everything I get here never misses. Always tastes phenomenal. I always feel good after eating a nice wholesome meal from here. I have a "happy" tummy ? but all in all my go to place all the time and so happy she has changed her hours so people can catch more of the cooking and desserts. My favorite cupcakes are the sweet potato and the lemon cupcakes. Just so fresh and good. Favorite thing to eat is the Jamaica Kincaid tacos and the oyster mushroom tacos! The Spicy Chikn Sandwich is great as well. Thank you Sweet Art! I will be back for more! ?? “
“Great food and unique items. Ignore any reviews complaining about restaurant week here. Regular diners realize restaurants don't serve typical items during Clayton restaurant week to make it possible for the new visitors to have a chance to try a reduced menu and lower prefix. This place is fabulous.“
“SO CUTE! The iced mint matcha was solid and the inside and outside aesthetic is adorable, clean, with a vintage decor flare. The greenhouse and garden area makes this place more than a coffee shop, but a cute afternoon activity! I’m excited to come back?“
“Got a cappuccino and the spot of sunshine herbal tea. Well prepared. Friendly service. Nice atmosphere. Many happy laptops around us. Books and games available. Comfortable seats. We didn’t have anything, but the pastries looks amazing. Gelato was available too.Vegetarian options: Sandwiches, milk alternatives for coffee, pastries.Dietary restrictions: Caffeine free options available. Nice vegetarian sandwich options.Wheelchair accessibility: Smooth entrance. Plenty of table seating.“
“The cheapest best coffee in Stl. For $5 I can get a latte with flavor of choice, including my dairy sub and a filling breakfast. Baked egg on a toast is my fave. I drive from quite far so it’s a treat a few times a month when I’m in the area. The staff is great too! Highly recommend this place. Lots of coffee flavor options and super affordable! Food is a bit pricey like breakfast burrito to lunch etc but haven’t tried the lunch and salads yet to know if it’s worth it! The staff here is great and really welcoming!“
“The English muffin sandwich I ordered was pricey, the bacon soggy and limp and the muffin was not toasted. However, their pastries and coffee drinks are really good and a nice selection. Pricing is better on those items. It is a cute place and they sell adorable jewelry and other items. Certainly worth a visit.“
“I've only been here twice, but both times the drinks have been 10/10. I've gotten the strawberry one & the creme brulee dirty boba. They're both very good, but the creme brulee one is next level good, probably my favorite drink I've had from any of the tea places I've been to. And super pretty!! :)“
“I stopped in for lunch after having an appointment across the street and was glad I did. The staff member at the register was super helpful running through some of their more popular items. I went with one of her favorites, the spicy chicken panini. It was delicious, flavorful and with fresh crunchy veggies. It came with a small serving of couscous salad and was the perfect amount of food for my lunch. I'll be back to try more of their menu!“
“My friends and I visited St Louis for a weekend trip! This little coffee shop was walking distance from our place and we loved it here! The matcha latte I got was great and the breakfast was super yummy. The baristas were awesome!! They were kind and approachable, and gave suggestions of shops and boutiques for us to visit. We went there several times for coffee; fabulous & friendly!“
“Nice and tucked away coffee shop with off street parking. They have good prices and are generous with their caffeine pours. There are ample tables and options of books and board games to enjoy if you don't bring your own. They also had an all day breakfast menu and lunch options to enjoy.“
“This place has been in business for 5 years. West siders are going to say this place is on the West side. Northsiders are going to say this is on the North. Im from North so it's on the Northside. Lol Either way, I finally decide to stop on thru and was rewarded with some very good tasting food. They are known for their homemade ice cream and for selling breakfast all day during their operation hours (as of this review, they are closed on Sundays and Mondays) On the day I went it was too hot for me to get ice cream as a togo item so I got :Breakfast plate with salmon Croquet 3.5/ 5: 2 nice sized patties that were well seasoned ( too well season for me but I can see how the majority of their customer base would like them this way.Egg over easy 3/5 good but the yolks wasn't running like it supposed to bePotatoes 5/5 smothered potatoes; best ever I had from a restaurant hands down Wheat toast; 3/5 I would have prefer white bread. Im going to ask next time if white is an option. Plain Stirfry : 5/5 noodles and sauce were on point .portion size was huge They have a loyal neighborhood customer base and the food is cooked to order; so there will be a wait time.If you are on the North, check out Ari's !!“
“A wonderful experience, starting with the lovely ladies behind the counter, and extending to the great little grocery store attached to the restaurant. But let's be real, you don't come here for the ambiance, you come here for the cevapi! And boy does it deliver. Expertly cooked sausages, lots of raw onion, banana peppers, and sour cream. As usual, bring your appetite or be prepared for leftovers... the sandwich is about the size of your face!If for some reason you're still not full, there is a full service bakery to satisfy your sweet tooth. And the Bosnian coffee is top notch as well.“
“Lovely atmosphere, though it's a bit small. I found seating somewhat limited as business picked up, so be prepared to stand or take-out during busy hours.I ordered a chocolate croissant and an iced matcha latte. The croissant was to die for all around, but I found that the matcha tasted a bit too milky.Overall, would recommend if you're looking for a cozy café experience!Parking: The parking was a bit inconvenient, but that's to be expected when you're in the city. There was a two hour parking lot shared between the local restaurants located behind the café, and some street parking and on-site parking. Nearly all of it was full when I parked.“
“I was here for less than five minutes and can't wait to go back. Wait staff was lovely. Got a coffee to go and a cherry turnover both to die for. Coffee was a chocolate raspberry that didn't totally wipe out that fresh coffee taste. Turnover is flakey and complimented my coffee nicely. Sit down food looked amazing can't wait to bring friends here.“
“Very nice French bakery in St. Louis. They had an assortment of pastries, macaroons, and other baked goods. They have limited coffee but many teas on their drink menu. I got a slice of the raspberry almond tart which was incredible. There are a few tables to eat inside, but I took to go. Lots of street parking close by. I’d definitely stop by again when in the area.Parking: There is a lot of free street parking in the area. There are some locations that are restricted during certain times.“
“Had one of the yummiest burrito bowl I have ever eaten. It had grilled mushrooms, grilled red onions and grilled yellow corn served with a ball of mashed avocado over jasmine rice. It was priced at $15. Also had a very tasty chocolate chip cookie.“
“Visited the daily bread yesterday for the first time. Cannot wait to go back! Great service, friendly staff, clean surroundings, and great food! Their salads are huge, their sandwiches use the freshest meats, and their desserts are really difficult to pass up!“
“The London Tea Room was everything we hoped for! Amazing ambience (felt like we were in Europe!), so many tea options and so well prepared, wonderful food, and lovely service. I took my mother and mother by love and we had a wonderful time. Thank you for working so hard to make this a beautiful experience!“
“Awesome. Best burger I've had in St. Louis. This was my first time here. I do plan to go back. The portions are a good size. The person I was with couldn't even eat all of her food. It became obvious they have regulars. Every other person who came through the door was greeted by name. Great place highly recommend.“
“We love coming to Road Crew and grabbing some coffee and some of their baked goods. The food selection is limited to baked goods but everyone single one we've tried has been great. The space is beautiful-- lots of natural light and and seating options. Apart from the coffee they have a cycling corner with bikes, cycling gear and a repair area. The staff is very sweet!“
“These beings are so kind and accommodating. Always ready for a good laugh and down to earth. I have never waited more than 8 minutes for incredible food and the outdoor patio is amazing. I love the ambiance, the many options and the staff! Prices are very reasonable for what you get and less pretentious than surrounding coffee places. Also, the coffee is the best around this area and you dont get ripped off. They're not marketing to south county hipsters, but I am so thankful to have such a genuine and authentic coffee house (not coffee shop) so close to home.“
“The server had great recommendations and was patient with my while I made the hard choice of choosing which delicious things to try.I got the butter squash pizza (pictured), a Fruitz juice and a chocolate chip cookie— all were so delicious!!Great job Seedz!!! Vegans and non-vegans will love this place! Yum!!“
“At first we weren't sure we were at the right location, but then spotted the sign. Great little place, we got a chicken pita and gyro with drinks. Fast, tasty, friendly, and good prices. There was a nice sitting area outside which we were lucky to have perfect weather for.The chicken was moist, the pita was warm with a little crisp, they were generous with tomatoes and onions, and the sauce was pretty good. Altogether very tasty, would recommend that, and the gyro was similarly great. If you're hungry, you can opt for a big boy instead of the standard size, but this size was perfect for lunch for both myself and my husband.Parking: Parking was easy to find on Friday afternoon.“
“What a great combination of ideas here! The bookstore is small, but is only local authored books. The cafe part offers many choices for coffee, teas, beer, wine, and mixed drinks. My only issue was with the acoustics. We were there for a presentation, and before it began, they were playing the music WAAAAY to loud for that size and type of room. It was painful! Other than that, I loved the place...“
“I bought the black forest smoothie this morning and let me tell you it is worth every $9.25 plus tax. Not to mention the cup size is very generous, and I absolutely love the staff. If you’re looking for a healthy restaurant that serves breakfast lunch that has turkey meat, as well as vegan options, visit UKraft they will not let you down.“
“I LOVE THIS PLACE! It's a great shop that I've been able to meet up with friends and business partners to enjoy great food and drinks. The atomsphere lends to lots of collaborations and joy. If you are looking for a place to stop through or hang out and get some work done, stop in! You will not be disappointed!“
“I am a fan of Rated Test Kitchen! No complaints! Chef JR is an amazing chef. Bri has amazing customer service. The spirit staff does great with cocktails. And all the sous chefs are polite and welcoming. If you are local or visiting Rated Test Kitchen should be on your list.“
“This place was soooo good! Food was out fast and it was super delicious. I had the parma breakfast skillet and everything about it was perfection. staff was polite and helpful also! Will definitely be back and will also reccomend others. For myself it was a generous portion and I had water. It was 15$ and some change.“
“My kid had a dental surgery next door, so we came here to pass the time. I'm usually skeptical of fake meats, but the match chorizo hash (vegan) was calling my name -- so I went for it. Really delicious. Filling. And surprisingly meaty tasting! My only regret was not getting a drink. It was the wrong time of day. But, hopefully I can get back here to try a specialty drink, or at least the coffee.“
“Absolutely in Love with the creamy chicken and wild rice soup. The drink membership is a wonderful idea. I work pretty close so always stop in for a coffee in the morning and always a good quick lunch idea. Love the atmosphere. Very relaxing and always great service.“
