“Went here after looking up local diners on google, as I try to support family style restaurants when I travel. Walked in and was greeted right away and told to sit where we wanted. Place was pretty full with locals all chatting across tables like a community of friends. I ordered a “three little piggies” omelette and my friend ordered the chicken fried steak. The meal was on our table in under 10 minutes even though the place was packed. My omelette was stuffed to overflowing with meats and the chicken fried steak was almost the size of the plate. My friend also ordered a cinnamon roll to go. When I say this thing was big, that is an understatement. It was the size of a large to go box. Friendly staff, homelike atmosphere, large portions, nicely priced and very tasty. Overall, a great place to eat! Stop by this place if you’re ever in Washington, MO!!!“

“Point Labaddie is true to a cliche in the bar/brewery scene in the since that it "feels like home" to me in a way that few places ever have. I'd gladly venture as far as saying it felt closer to home than any house I resided in during my stay in Missouri. Its not just in the drinks, music, or the atmosphere. It's not all because of the man that say down and told me about his over 500 days of backpacking he'd recently completed right before relating over both having a flight to Colorado the following week. It may be a large part, but it's not all due to my boy cookin up fire tacos on the grill out front. Its the way everything comes together to make you feel like your loved and surrounded by family even though you're a long, long ways from home. I will add in now that I'm writing this from my couch at home overlooking Pikes Peak, but I'll always be looking forward to the next song or picking circle, the next fire, the next story, and the next delicious brew with everyone at Point Labaddie!“

“My review is limited to one particular dish - The All-You-Can-Eat Catfish Dinner. Three visits, the staff were always friendly, and the fish was always good. I'm a fan of the hush-puppies... Wonderfully sweet, not the jalapeño mix that has become to popular for its own good. Always seems to be quiet, the staff to customer ratio has always guaranteed a full beverage glass without having to ask ?“

“Great food and drinks, I would hands down recommend this place to everyone! I had the walleye with onion rings, it brought me back to my childhood in ND. It was so delicious tender and flakey, best onion rings, and so much food. I didn’t walk away hungry or feeling gross from the fried food, super light and crispy breading. The barrel aged manhattan was awesome!! 10 out of 10 would eat here again and make sure others come try it too!!!“

“10/10 this place is great! Next time I come I am trying the bison burger!! The staff were amazing and when I mentioned this was my first time here a lovely host named Diane showed me around the different rooms and all the rustic decor. My waitress was so nice and I tried her recommendation of the bread pudding and it was delicious! This is a great place to host parties or gatherings for events and I was informed there is no room rental fee for their large room where they can also set up a buffet for your guests.“

“We come here a lot and normally order things we've had before. Tonight was different as I saw Quesabirria as a special and after asking our server about, gave it a try. It was so good! You get 3 tacos that are crispy on the outside, with meat, cheese, onions, and cilantro on the inside, and the sauce on the side for dipping. They described it as a mexican stew meat and it was very tender. Highly recommend if it's on the menu when you go.“

“I recommend the fried pickles! This appetizer is one of my family’s favorites along with the brew bites. My family frequent the Pacific Brew Haus to enjoy dinner and cold beer. However, lately they have been out of the beer I drink. The last three out of four times we have been there they haven’t had the cider. I was told tonight that IPA replaced it? IPA and Cider are very different. Are you out of the cider and not getting it back? Please consider at least carrying the cider in a bottle if not on tap! My family and I enjoy coming there and hated walking out tonight to go to another establishment that does have the cider.🍺“
“I hosted a baby shower for my daughter in the Barrel Room and it was the perfect place. The staff was so accommodating from the beginning to the end. Brooke and Emily had quick response times and very professional. Matt was our server and he was top notch along with the food on this special day! Thank you so much!“

“I've eaten here often, only because of the simple fact, that there are no other Chinese buffets within 30 or 40 miles. Everytime, I've eaten here I've been disappointed. The foods either cold, has no flavor, or has mysterious foreign objects in the dishes. One Friday afternoon, my crew was rained out. So, against better judgement, we decided to eat here. My boss found a piece of speaker wire mixed in his chicken and broccoli. Another time, while I was eating a ice cream sandwich, I noticed out of the corner of my eye a small movement. After a few seconds, and careful Ninja tuition, I watched a very bold, and obviously unafraid Cockroach march across my table without a single worry about a 250 pound Ninja ready to snatch the life right out of it. As far as the workers go? I've never met one yet that has greeted me or actually said anything more than, "Drink?" and, "The cost of the meal." I quit going here after the speaker wire incident with my boss at lunch. I decided it's worth driving a hour further were first and foremost they recognize a true blooded Ninja. And I get decent Chinese food, rather than risk eating mysterious additives, (like a Poison laced Dart Frog object), that could puncture interior organs. If you decide to still eat here? Eat at your own risk, and make sure your wills signed.“

“Going to the Botanical Tea Room is a wonderful experience. I went with a group from the St Louis Evening Herbal Association. We really enjoyed the conversation with the owners. They are very informed on the herbal teas, garden to table herbs, flowers and vegetables. It’s so much fun touring the property to see what’s being grown there. It is evident that Penelope loves what she is doing and sharing there. She takes growing and serving very seriously. It’s really just a beautiful experience!
Dietary restrictions: I’m dairy free and Penelope had twice accommodated for me.“
