He did our party and other sales. How he managed that I will never know. Because the kids were coming in left and right. I was excited that this business had sonic the hedgehog ice cream. But they exceeded my expectation on the variety of treats. We purchased bracelets for our party guests so the driver could know they were with the party. It worked out beautifully. The flavors are unique and delicious and they rotate new ones in frequently. They also offer alcoholic and vegan ice creams. The cones are delicious and come with different flavors. They let you try each flavor if you want. Getting the ice cream is a little slow, but worth the wait. The scoops are large, personally I've never eaten more than 2. The place is cute, but doesn't have a ton of seating. It's normally enough to hold everyone but on popular nights you might have to eat outside on one of their benches. Would highly recommend.“

Having grown up in STL with TD on the Southside, Silky gives TD a run for the money... very good, creamy, and not quite as sugary-sweet as some custards. It was nicely balanced, and there are plenty of shapes, sizes, toppings and add ons to please anyone in your group. Stop by next time you're close. Highly recommended.“

It seriously used to be a one room shack on the corner of California and Cherokee. Now the enlarged building multiplies its size by at least 10! The outdoor patio on the corner is larger than the whole joint started out.It's now formatted so you order and seat yourself, which works out well as far as I can tell. And takeout is just as easy. IT DOES GET BUSY, so if you suspect you're in a time crunch you could always go to another spot nearby and grab Mexican at a (potentially) less busy spot.ALL of the Mexican restaurants on Cherokee have great items on their menus and and it's worth exploring all of them to see what you like where. But basically La Vallesana is my go-to when I'm not being particular and maybe want to go be anonymous somewhere.The last thing I have to say about La Vallesana is that you might want to think about dessert first, so you can save room. When you enter, all the house made ice cream and aguas frescas like horchata are also not to be overlooked.
