“The food and the entire experience were amazing! The evening was to celebrate my milestone birthday and it did not disappoint! The bourbon list was extensive with so many great choices to choose from! And I sampled several! For dinner I had the fillet, crab and crawfish chowder, and a loaded baked potato…delicious! The bread pudding was also divine. I will definitely be returning! 🤤 🖤“

“We had a wonderful time celebrating my two sisters birthday at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse downtown St Louis. The steaks were delicious and cooked according to our request. Corey was wonderful and made our dinner memorable. Attention was given to detail and we were surprised to receive desserts for my sisters. A great time was had by all!!“

“It is my daughter’s 16th birthday today and we made a reservation at their sister restaurant Bristol’s awhile back. It’s her favorite place to go because of the fried cauliflower. We got a call today and they had a fire so they couldn’t open but graciously made us a reservation at j Gilbert’s. My son got sick so I had to stay home but they called me and said they made her the fried cauliflower that she loves at Bristol’s tonight at j Gilbert’s!! My family said everyone is being so nice and definitely made my daughters night!! Thank you so much for all you did to make her 16th so special!! You guys are amazing!! I can’t thank you enough!!!“

“Food as usual did not disappoint, however this was the first time we had Dave as a server, and the services was subpar for what we are used to at Kreis" Steakhouse. Maybe it was just a bad not, but it was continuous throughout the evening, as well as waiting on our check for 15 minutes before having to ask for it.“

“Carmine’s is my favorite steakhouse in St. Louis. I have been a loyal customer at all of the Lombardo family restaurants my entire life and Carmine’s is simply the best. The atmosphere is welcoming and the food is always 5 stars, never disappoints. I recommend eating here before/after a downtown event or game because the location is prime and has easy access to the highway. I always use their valet parking to avoid traffic at other downtown parking places.“

“Went here for my boyfriend's birthday and the service was amazing! I'm unsure how to spell her name but Nicki is an amazing server. She is so sweet and bubbly and made the experience come to life! This is a perfect spot on the hill with plently of parking available and I definitely would come back again. I had the steak sandwhich and it was very simple and tasty.“

“The place was amazing. Great food and wonderful service provided by Tom. It had ambiance, something missing in many places. This had the charm and finesse that is often missed in the new LOUD places. This place was packed but still quiet and the perfect setting for a romantic dinner. Not cheap but well worth the money.“

“This food was delicious. I had a salmon with freshly grilled squash, peppers and mushrooms. It was the first time I had ever been there and really enjoyed it. It is probably more of a takeout place than a sit and eat place as there were only narrow counters along the window wall, but they did a booming business while I was there. I highly recommend it“

“My first time there and what a great experience! The steak was really the best I have had in recent months (years?) in the St. Louis area. The service was fantastic - Demitra (sp?) did a great job as our server. The decor and atmosphere is tremendous - classy yet contemporary. We will definitely return!“

“The restaurant has very narrow aisles, making it difficult to pass someone standing or walking. The service was good, the drinks and appetizer came out quickly. The entrees too a while to show up. The restaurant was busy, but not that busy at 3 p.m. It got busier later and there was a wait when we left.“

“Very serene setting with a deep history dating back 100 years. Maitre d Sid a great job telling the story of the restaurant as well as explaining the menu. Food was fantastic. Ravioli amazing, blackened salmon equal. Would highly recommend!“
