Charcoal House Reviews
A special date night was made more special by what we experienced. We were immediately greeted upon our arrival and escorted to our table. Had a great experience at the Charcoal House! Went with a group of seven and were welcomed warmly right away. Robin was our server and did a fantastic job. She was attentive and friendly the entire night.
I had the filet with shrimp scampi, and I shared the creamed spinach, and a twice-baked potato—everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. The owner even stopped by to check on us, which was a nice touch.
Excellent food and service!
Cool place. A step back in time to the days of old. Great food.

The Charcoal House is a cozy and festive restaurant known for its wonderful dining experience and excellent service. The prime sirloin steak, described as huge and delicious, and the twice baked potatoes are customer favorites. The restaurant also offers a special fish of the day and a range of delectable dishes, including the escargot in mushroom caps and beef tips with mushrooms, which are praised for their delicious taste and perfect cooking. The cost per plate ranges from $37 to $55. The staff, including servers who have worked there for years, are attentive and friendly, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Customers have particularly enjoyed the Charcoal House Special, a rare filet mignon with mushroom sauce and blue cheese, and recommend pairing it with a fine wine like the Jordan Cabernet. Many visitors have expressed that the steak, especially the steak and shrimp, is some of the best in the area, and the service is often described as fantastic, with servers like Demitra being highlighted for their great job. The decor and atmosphere are considered classy yet contemporary, making it a perfect place to celebrate special occasions. However, some customers have mentioned that the restaurant can be crowded, with tables placed very close together, and wait staff may bump into guests during busy times. Overall, the Charcoal House remains a popular choice for those seeking high-quality dining in a warm and lively setting.
