“Going to the Botanical Tea Room is a wonderful experience. I went with a group from the St Louis Evening Herbal Association. We really enjoyed the conversation with the owners. They are very informed on the herbal teas, garden to table herbs, flowers and vegetables. It’s so much fun touring the property to see what’s being grown there. It is evident that Penelope loves what she is doing and sharing there. She takes growing and serving very seriously.It’s really just a beautiful experience!

“Great flavor, I got this Jalapeño Burger, I might not have read the menu right but not always a fan of sweet and meat, but this was great!!!! Service was okay. Friendly, just busy im sure. The greek fries are quite good, the other member of my party got the Fish n Chips, the tartar sauce is quite amazing!!!!!

“The Hawthorne Inn is one of the best restaurants just outside of the St. Louis area. My boyfriend and I make the drive out from St. Charles, MO. The service is always exceptional, and the food is absolutely amazing. I’ve never had a dish I didn’t like. Their house salad is one of my favorites. The prices for the quality and portion sizes are very reasonable as well. Perfect place for dates, special occasions, or any occasion at all, as their menu offers a wide variety from soups & salads, sandwiches, pizza, pasta, and various dinner entrees.“

“We had our son and daughter in law’s rehearsal dinner at Mellow Mushroom and boy, did we choose a great place! They had us all set up for 25 people beautifully when we arrived and was quickly introduced to our amazing server, Katie. Between her and her crew of helpers (for lack of a better word), we were taken care of so well. Tara, the bartender also tended to us with quick and excellent service. The general manager Ahmad checked on us several times to be sure we were happy and everyone was taken care of. Food and drinks were quickly and deliciously served and enjoyed. The atmosphere is so fun and upbeat. I don’t think we had one problem (except us being 7 minutes late - so sorry about that!!). We go to Mellow Mushroom as a couple and a family and now we can add as a wedding party and extended family. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!“

The main entrance is through the patio on the back, but if you use the front door you just walk through to the host station on the other side. “Point Labaddie is true to a cliche in the bar/brewery scene in the since that it "feels like home" to me in a way that few places ever have. I'd gladly venture as far as saying it felt closer to home than any house I resided in during my stay in Missouri. Its not just in the drinks, music, or the atmosphere. It's not all because of the man that say down and told me about his over 500 days of backpacking he'd recently completed right before relating over both having a flight to Colorado the following week. It may be a large part, but it's not all due to my boy cookin up fire tacos on the grill out front. Its the way everything comes together to make you feel like your loved and surrounded by family even though you're a long, long ways from home. I will add in now that I'm writing this from my couch at home overlooking Pikes Peak, but I'll always be looking forward to the next song or picking circle, the next fire, the next story, and the next delicious brew with everyone at Point Labaddie!“

“We ate their last night for dinner for the very first time. I must say the food was really good but, our appetizer came out which was the spicy Mac & cheese bites, they were good but cold in the center. I let the waitress know and she apologized. She took them back and bought a freshly made order and they were steaming hot and excellent! I got the double smash burger, which was really good, but it was cooked more like a regular hamburger because on a Smashburger the edges are crispy which adds to the flavor. My hamburger SB edges, even though it was a really good burger! I I would still recommend eating here because the food is really good and the service is excellent! I get it some days,there are off days and maybe that’s what happened. But we will definitely be back!“

Parking: Spots infront of restaurant &huge parking lot belonging to Walmart one row behind &to the side. Plenty of parking for the whole strip.

Kid-friendliness: The ladies are super friendly with my kids. Always answering questions &asking them how they are doing also&what they are interested in. So nice. Family feelings when we walk in the door.

I don't understand why people gave bad reviews, they are so nice, my food always comes out less than 10 mins.

First best is the Mongolian Beef, and you'll have to try the dumpling, and Lo Mein when you're feeling it.“

“10/10 would recommend! Especially for hosting an event! We had a pretty decent sized (35) celebration here a few weekends ago & it was perfect. We ordered food ahead of time, brought in some decorations and the staff was incredibly kind (shout out to Matt, Chelsea, Ali & Todd!) throughout the entire process. The food & drinks were great & affordable. The heated patio was amazing. Will definitely be hosting here again in the future and visiting for dinner until then. Ordered a curbside pick up but when we got there they didn’t show the order. Not a problem because within minutes the manager, Andrea made sure our order went in quick and even added extra salad and fries too! Andrea, you couldn’t have made a glitch turn out any better!
