“Going to the Botanical Tea Room is a wonderful experience. I went with a group from the St Louis Evening Herbal Association. We really enjoyed the conversation with the owners. They are very informed on the herbal teas, garden to table herbs, flowers and vegetables. It’s so much fun touring the property to see what’s being grown there. It is evident that Penelope loves what she is doing and sharing there. She takes growing and serving very seriously.It’s really just a beautiful experience!

“The Hawthorne Inn is one of the best restaurants just outside of the St. Louis area. My boyfriend and I make the drive out from St. Charles, MO. The service is always exceptional, and the food is absolutely amazing. I’ve never had a dish I didn’t like. Their house salad is one of my favorites. The prices for the quality and portion sizes are very reasonable as well. Perfect place for dates, special occasions, or any occasion at all, as their menu offers a wide variety from soups & salads, sandwiches, pizza, pasta, and various dinner entrees.“

“Our first visit to Town Square Pub N Grub was great. The food was excellent.
The service was great.
It was loud but there was a football playoff game and there were plenty of TVs so you have a TV no matter the angle you are sitting in.
We will definitely go back to eat here again.“

“We had our son and daughter in law’s rehearsal dinner at Mellow Mushroom and boy, did we choose a great place! They had us all set up for 25 people beautifully when we arrived and was quickly introduced to our amazing server, Katie. Between her and her crew of helpers (for lack of a better word), we were taken care of so well. Tara, the bartender also tended to us with quick and excellent service. The general manager Ahmad checked on us several times to be sure we were happy and everyone was taken care of. Food and drinks were quickly and deliciously served and enjoyed. The atmosphere is so fun and upbeat. I don’t think we had one problem (except us being 7 minutes late - so sorry about that!!). We go to Mellow Mushroom as a couple and a family and now we can add as a wedding party and extended family. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!“

Food is honestly, large portions, and large variety. Service was fast and friendly. Price was good. There's even a route 66 state park nearby.“

I must say the food was really good but, our appetizer came out which was the spicy Mac & cheese bites, they were good but cold in the center. I let the waitress know and she apologized. She took them back and bought a freshly made order and they were steaming hot and excellent! I got the double smash burger, which was really good, but it was cooked more like a regular hamburger because on a Smashburger the edges are crispy which adds to the flavor. My hamburger SB edges, even though it was a really good burger! I I would still recommend eating here because the food is really good and the service is excellent! I get it some days,there are off days and maybe that’s what happened. But we will definitely be back!“

Ordered a curbside pick up but when we got there they didn’t show the order. Not a problem because within minutes the manager, Andrea made sure our order went in quick and even added extra salad and fries too! Andrea, you couldn’t have made a glitch turn out any better!
