I ordered the country fried steak with street corn and was not disappointed at all. My family ordered meatloaf with okra and Mashed potatoes and they were extremely happy. “Had resv for 4:00 on a Sat, got there at 3:25 asked to sit at table to get drinks, told we could, then someone else said no since r resv wasn’t until 4:00. Said we could sit at bar but all tables in bar were taken! Freezing cold inside, put 7 of us at a table that would hold 10-12 people had to scoot down to other end to try and get warm. Food finally arrived way later than those around us! No one in the rest. hardly but we couldn’t sit at a table till 4:00. Not very friendly about it! Food not impressed with! “I had lunch at Halftime yesterday and the food was wonderful. The special of the day was a Smashburger, homemade chips and a salad. I also shared some southwest chicken rolls as an appetizer. The southwest chicken rolls are always great, but I really loved the Smashburger and homemade chips. The chips had a really tasty seasoning on them. Apparently, this meal was a special only and not on the everyday menu, but it should be. Everything was delicious and our server was great.“

“Annie Gunn's is an exceptional eatery. The moment you walk in until you walk out you know you are their focus. The servers are exceptional. The food comes out timely and hot or cold depending on what you order. The food is fresh and fabulous. I live in Naples Florida and am accustom to fresh grouper prepared well. Annie Gunn's is as fresh and tasty as any I have had in Southwest Florida. While you may look at prices as being above average, well so is the service the food and the atmosphere. I dare you to eat it all as the size of the dish is enough for two meals, one onsite and one at home. And just to make sure your experience was outstanding a manager stops by to ask for your approval. Ryan was the management guy checking our table and showed genuine interest in our complete satisfaction. Try it you love it and she will love you for taking her there!!“

I have ordered from here and went in person numerous times over the past year. In the last 3 months, it has really gone downhill. The last 2 times I went in person, the sweet potato fries were not able to be given to us because they said there was a 30 minute delay. They gave us macaroni instead which was nice, and promised a refund that I never received. Then, the last 3 doordashes the fries were hard, burnt, and inedible. It's a shame because I pay good money to eat healthier options at lunch, especially with my gallbladder being removed, so I can not worry about flare ups and feel confident that I can continue my work day, by eating healthier options, and not getting sick. This used to be my favorite place but I'm disheartened now. 😔 I wish it would let me upload the pics.“

When our younger son and his family fly in from California, their first stop after leaving the airport is Lions Choice. Do not recommend if you ever want to eat. I have never walked out of a restaurant like that in my 42 years. it was terrible“

“Always a lovely meal at Almonds! Their pan friend chicken is the dish I keep coming back for. Its a love at first taste. Despite my favoritism, anything written on the chalkboards are wonderful. Almonds is an excellent and consistent spot to meet up with friends to enjoy a comforting meal.“

“Our stay was very enjoyable, and the hotel amenities, including the pool area, were generally excellent. However, we did encounter a few instances related to staff interactions that we feel warrant attention.

Evening Reception Policy Enforcement
Upon returning one evening, we intended to briefly attend the complimentary reception to get beverages. We were carrying 'doggy bags' with restaurant leftovers. While we respect policies designed to prevent the consumption of outside meals during the reception, a staff member quickly and insistently addressed the presence of these bags. We had no immediate intention of consuming the contents at the reception tables and were simply getting drinks. The gentleman's immediate suggestion to discard the bags, rather than allowing us the chance to store them, felt premature and somewhat overbearing. We recommend reviewing the communication strategy for this policy to ensure a welcoming atmosphere, even while maintaining proper protocols.

Pool and Fitness Center Observation
The pool facilities were very nice and well-maintained. However, we observed the same gentleman who was present at the reception entering the pool area. He appeared to conduct a detailed sweep of the area, seemingly looking for policy violations among the guests, before quickly departing. Immediately after, he walked past the weight room, where we noted minors were engaging in inappropriate behavior, specifically throwing balls and playing on the treadmills.

While we did not report these events at the time, the contrast between the intense scrutiny directed at guests in the reception and pool areas and the apparent lack of attention given to safety issues in the fitness center was noticeable. The overall impression was one of inconsistent policy application and potentially disproportionate focus on guests simply utilizing amenities.

Other than those couple of actions our stay was perfect, we loved the space and accommodations . I docked 1 star for service.“

“Had a great experience from beginning to end. Cocktails were a twist on classics and were fun and delicious. We tried the crab cakes and to my delight they were not all filler. “the staff here saved a choking man's life today. they were very quick and effective, several staff had him surrounded in seconds, got the blockage cleared and he was on his way. Then they just went right back to working like nothing happened and it was just another day at the office. a true class act!“
