“I've been in a couple times now and everything is always delicious. The bread is still warm. The pastries are flaky and just wonderful. Every time there has been one or two different things from the last time I was there, which is so exciting. I highly recommend stopping by if you can. Staff is always friendly and helpful.“

They were quite busy when I walked in but the owner Ray came to the counter to take my order pretty quickly. I used to come here for the Taro Milk, but my current favorite was the Purple Rice Yogurt with Mango drink. It's delicious and tasted similar like Vietnamese dessert - sua chua nep cam, but in a fruity side. I also got the Purple Rice Yogurt with Blueberry and Pasteis De Nata for my girlfriend, and she absolutely loved both items. My partner got his usual Chai Latte with Oatmilk - very aromatic and the sweetness just right. Bakery and drinks here are not overly sweet. “Liz’s has the best Filipino food hands down. I often come here after school and it never disappoints. If you’re Cebuana like me, you will love their kawali combo with rice and pancit. It’s also a bonus that they have biko and budbud for dessert amongst other ones but those are my favorite! I love this place ❤️“

“Everyone loves Grandmas Cookies! We were VERY happy with the gluten free variety. They were most delicious gluten free cookies EVER tasted. Thank you Grandma Cookies for catering to the specialty diets! Our 14 year old visitor was so happy to eat something so delicious. You truly made her day. They will be stopping in tomorrow on their way out of town to get a dozen.Dietary restrictions: The best Gluten Free cookies our visiting 14 year old ever tasted. “Sucrose is the best bakery in the greater St. Louis area. Period. Their staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The locally roasted coffee (Blueprint) is fantastic. They also have plenty of options for those with dietary restrictions (GF, dairy free, etc.). In the dozens of times I have gone here, I have never had something that was not fantastic. The quiche lorraine, NY coffee cake, blueberry muffins, and macarons are some of my favorites, but that list is much, much longer. Treat yourself and go on Saturday mornings when they really go all out. Bacon, cheddar, and caramelized onion croissants, sticky buns, whole loaves of bread, amazing specials using ingredients from their garden, and so much more. During the holidays they sell whole pies and other desserts. Their apple pie is truly special and I will continue to buy it every Thanksgiving. I have been going there since they were at their old location (and also had a different name- Four Seasons Bakery), and will continue to frequent their establishment until I am no longer physically able. “Ordered the bisque/ gravy, pancakes, omelet, and the bisque/ gravy platter. The food is amazing and tastes more home-cooked than commercial, which I LOVE!! Now, the show stopper is the giant cinnamon roll with the chocolate frosting...OMG it's ABSOLUTELY amazing!! Super soft, and the taste is beyond! Best one in town, hands down! Love the atmosphere it is a true local hangout. I love eating in a place where the locals gather. That's how you know you're in the right place!“

“Peace Love Coffee is absolutely the best vegan restaurant in the entire St. Louis area! I’ve eaten pretty much everything on the menu and most of the desserts. Everything is delicious. I usually order the chickpea of the sea sandwich with a side of chili. The desserts are out of this world delicious and moist. We have brought most of our family here and they love it too! The service is as good as the food. I can’t say enough good things about Peace Love Coffee.“

“Sugar and Slice is my absolute favorite bakery. They made our wedding cake and dessert bar for our wedding reception. The desserts are so delicious and we’re such a big hit. Everyone complimented them and loved the dessert bar idea. Sugar and slice was so easy to communicate with and handled last minute changes like adding our dog to the cake. They did an amazing job and were so much fun to work with!“

“Brought family of 5 in for ice cream. Our local library had a promotion where kids that read a lot of books got a scoop of ice cream. Kids enjoyed the birthday cake scoops while my wife and I split an ice cream flight. Yes, you read that right. I got 4 little scoops of all the stuff I wanted to try out. I was quite fond of the elderberry honey. My youngest like the banana pie, and my oldest leaned towards the Snickerdoodle.Overall, great experience, not a complaint in the world. “I like going here for freshly made bakeries. The store is always clean and neat. Staffs are friendly and welcoming. My favorites are their custard and cream cheese breads - which tends to be sold out pretty fast. I tried their melon breads couple times before but it's not my cup of tea. They also have some savory items and birthday cakes. My family and I especially loved the sweet potato cake here a lot. Must try item!“

The owner Amber comes out and personally makes everyone feel welcome, she explains the options that are available and what to expect from week to week as they rotate out the selections. “We had a wonderful lunch at the Balkan Store and Bakery today. We were greeted with smiles and felt so welcome. We had lots of questions and the ladies took time to answer them. The gyros were huge and terrific, the soup was amazing and the greek salad fresh and delicious. We were so full that we had to take our Baklava home with us. “We have order many many things from Laulie and every one of them is delicious. Cakes, cupcakes, cookies, gooey butter, and the pecan pie brownies at Christmas time are to die for!!! Macarons are especially good as well! You won’t be disappointed!“

“I drove 30 minutes to be able to try the Venezuelan sweets and savory food. Everything was DELICIOUS!!! The bread that was used for the food is very soft and tastes fresh. You can really tell that the food is made with a lot of care. Some of my personal favorites are the cachitos filled with ham and bacon and turkey and cream cheese. My favorite bombas is the one filled with the pastry cream. The pastry cream has the perfect level of sweetness. I highly recommend that you try this food. You won’t be disappointed ?“

“We made a trip to St. Charles, MO in August 2023 to ride the Katy Trail. The Bike Stop Cafe was the perfect choice to help us with the trip. They were so helpful in so many ways. Jodi got us to Clinton, MO for us to start our ride back to St. Charles. St. Charles is a cute little town to stay in, so many shops and restaurants right by Bike Stop Cafe. We also got to enjoy a lunch one day at the Cafe and the food was amazing. If we get to ride the trail again we will without a doubt use Bike Stop Cafe and their services again.“

“I was staying nearby and got the chance to walk over to Colleen's for breakfast before starting my day at work. I was warmly greeted despite all the snow on the ground at the time. It didn't take long to receive my order of a chocolate croissant and Americano with vanilla and half and half. The Americano was good but I've had better. The chocolate croissant was very flaky and delicious but I really wish I would of asked if they could heat it up a bit. That would of been the chef's kiss!“

“This was my first time at Lefty's and I was not disappointed. My loxs and bagels were one of the most delicious sandwiches I have had in years. The staff here is so helpful that they go above and beyond the definition of the job. Leftys also has a very expensive menu that I am going to go back and try a couple of new dishes. She was too cute, snuggled up with her new friend at 94 years young ...and the two of them were sweet sharing the large Gooey Cake . “We stopped in late one evening right before Christmas. It's right off main street, so parking may cause some issues depending on when you go. The service was okay enough, nothing horrible - nothing great. We were late so the assortment of cookies wasn't the top cookies, I don't think, but what we did get was pretty good. Very homemade tasting, which isn't a bad thing. The best was the gingerbread and snickerdoodle, by far! Worth a stop in!“

“After a delicious lunch next door, my family popped over to a very busy Helfers. Since it is Fat Tuesday we expected it to be busy, but it was packed. Staff was friendly and helpful and got through customers quickly. We had 6 people in front of us but we only waited maybe 10 minutes. We got a nice assortment of goodies and each one was delicious! My son loved his donut and I loved my lemon packzi! My husband got one of the strawberry stollens which we all enjoyed! Helpful hint: they have number tags for you to take for getting people the orser they come in. It might just be when they're busy but we didn't notice the numbers until someone else grabbed a number tag.“

“This truck was at a tree lighting I went to and my husband and I picked up an oreo gooey and a red velvet gooey bar. They were delicious and a great sized portion. They even provided our dog a box of his own treats, since he was with us as well.“

“We ordered a wedding cake in October, and a carrot cake for Thanksgiving. The wedding cake was not only beautiful, but the cake and buttercream frosting were exceptional. The carrot cake was simply delicious and the best I have ever eaten! I am just so impressed with this little jewel of a bakery!!“

“I am not a huge cookie fan but my daughter kept telling me about Crumbl so since I knew she was going asked for two cookies. I got a Kentucky butter I think it was called and a. Stuffed cookie that was like a s'more, Two grams and a thick layer of chocolate in between. Now this would not be the same if you cook it at home, technically it sounds like you could but it's not...and it was by far my favorite. I loved this so much I made my daughter (she works right across from the Chesterfield location). I made her go get me at least one more cookie before. Flavors changes. I still am not the greatest cookie fan but if I were to want cookies I'd look for the nearest Crumbl!“

“This place has literally anything you could ever want! I stopped here around 10pm wanting something sweet and they certainly provided that. I got a small key lime pie that was perfect bitter and creamy. The whipped cream they included on top HAD to have been homemade, it was so creamy and delicious. This is definitely a little gem outside St Louis. Don't walk here, run here!“
