Karaoke, and it was HORRIBLE. Not that having karaoke is horrible, it's the few people that were there that couldn't sing. You could tell it was a few regulars and that's what is keeping more people from coming. We left because it was so bad. Will definitely be back though when no karaoke is going on“

I sat here today and my other black friend had to go to the owner about their owner than explaining the issue, bc he know like I, it’s start a mental race issue WITH MEG AS ALWAYS AND KNOW.N BY MANY BLACK PATRON! THEY ARE WILLING TO NOW SPEAK AFTER TONIGHT!I reported her issues in 2022 and it hasn’t changed. i come here to relax and listen to the available music. Meg tells me a black woman, Beyonce, if played multiple times will make her upset and she will project that to customers. She never has asked anyone else this EVVER! In discussing further of no tip, she advised me not to come back in if I’m not playing the music that makes HER happy if not expecting for it to be turned off or for anger to go to other patrons which made me feel discriminated and responsible for others bad times. In drinking my drink in an almost empty bar, NOW, I’m taking seats up and mich as before amassing people around her to bully. This isn’t right and MEG SHOULD BE FIRED but at the very least a case is coming as she informed me her and the owner talk often and hertreatment is of the bar. As Meg stated if I want different treatment don’t come on her shift vs trying to make things right. My biggest fear is retaliation for speaking out CONTINUALLY on the same issue and we are still here and I AM BANNNED. So another reason this is public bc of the fear she put in me that her and the owner are so close that my claims will mean nothing!“

Tony's beer is cold & it doesn't cost $7 The only hot food available for purchase is pizza however the owner & her daughter (Pat & Diane) provide FREE food for numerous celebrations throughout the year. They also sell chips. Tony's has a lot of regular customers. I've been going there once or twice a month for years & if there's a secret handshake that's a well kept secret! Tony's is & has been a family owned bar a long time. Their prices are on the low end of the spectrum & if you get in a fight you're banned. Usually for life. Newcomers are always welcome, attitudes are not.“

The bartenders are fun and the beers are always cold. The outdoor area is much larger than I expected which works great when I have a larger group meeting. Always a fun place to grab a beer with a buddy.“

“I love the Fireplace. It's basically a neighborhood type dive bar. Very friendly people, good drinks and small food offering. They have a pool table, game machines and the best karaoke on Fri and Sat nights.

They have recently had a bit of a facelift and the place looks great. They have also elevated their drinks with holiday special menus. I love the fall caramel apple martini! DELICIOUS! They also make a great white russian for a reasonable price. I've had the smore's dessert which is a cool experience and the pizza which is consistent and good. Service is quick and friendly and sometimes they even have a employee offering food samples.

I really enjoy that the karaoke crowd is kind and there to have a good time. They are friendly and will sing with you and cheer you on. The guy who runs karaoke is polite and does his best with your songs and rotating the list of singers.

They also have the cleanest restrooms I have ever experienced in a bar! This is not the kind of bar you go to and avoid using the restrooms, its one where you feel comfortable and they always have soap and towels for handwashing!

The only downside is that their parking lot is tiny and once its full, you are basically out of luck. There isn't any overflow parking, so I do recommend carpooling if you can.

“Kt's used to be my go to bar at the end of a night of drinking to go dance and hear live music and now I find it as one of my Go to Spots any time of the day or night and any day of the week or weekend. Best bartenders. Elizabeth and Chris are the best! A good gal pal and myself had a little Birthday celebration there this past April and I was able to hang out with the Owner Angie whose by far one of the most down to Earth fun yet business savvy women I've ever met. She keeps making Kts a better spot and a reason to go to constantly. Highly recommend going too.“

“I never even knew this place was here, 15 minutes from where i live. It is cozy with a cool atmosphere for music. It almost reminded me of a small pageant. Its in a historic building. The inside has a nice feel with exposed brick, wood, beams, and wiring but tastefully decorated. Nice bar is there. they DO NOT SERVE FOOD, but they allow patrons to bring in takeout. Im so glad I discovered it. I will be back.“

“I did not eat there. I went for a wonderful Christmas market that had a big screen and Christmas cartoons playing for the kids as well as a large bubble machine. I bought all my holiday gifts , every booth was more creative and unique than the rest and the nicest vendors. I even met one vendor in a central location that evening because I had no cash left and she met me with her husband after I could go to the bank“

“Went to the Ritz last night for their New Years Celebration. My shoe strap broke when walking in and I didn’t know what to do. But the staff there saved the day. I’ve never experienced such amazing hospitality. They saw me struggling and came to my rescue. Shoutout to Kenna for helping me. She not only offered a solution, but she sat on the floor and took 10 minutes to fix my shoe herself. All of the staff are so amazing and kind. My shoe stayed on all night and I was able to fully enjoy their amazing party. Thank you guys again ❤️“

“I’ve ignored this place over the decades, assuming it was a typical dive bar. A friend assured me the food was great and I should try it. Understatement! Believe it or not I’m a hypercritical person but I could find no fault at Michael’s. During both of my visits, everything everyone ordered was cooked and seasoned beautifully. So far I can highly recommend the Greek salad (standout among the large number of Greek salads I’ve tried), the rack of lamb and the galaktoboureko - a house-made dessert consisting mainly of a fluffy custard and phyllo dough. Even the side vegetables and rice were wonderful. The beer and wine selection was good as well and I wrote down my wine to look into buying a bottle. The many servers were extremely busy and professional and our server Amy did a helluva job. Large rack of lamb with sides, entree-sized Greek salad, two beers, wine and dessert for only $80 -which for the quality of our dinner was quite a bargain. Generic name belies quality cooking and serving! Pass it on!“

The steak was cooked to perfection and the ambience was perfect. 10 out of 10 will definitely go again. “This place doesn’t look like much from the parking lot but man what a hidden gem. My husband I visited here for the first time tonight. We actually met playing league 25 years ago and I played competitively for several years. We haven’t been to a billiard hall since we moved to STL. I’ve seen this place when visiting Porter’s Chicken next door for lunch so I figured why not give it a shot. I was pretty excited to see the 7ft Diamond tables that had recently been redone. The tables play incredibly smooth and fast. All the rails on the table were in amazing shape as well. At $9.00 an hour for two people the rates were very reasonable for such amazing tables. They had sitting tables and wall table tops with places to safely sit your cues. My only complaint about the tables is the arrangement. I think if they reworked the placement there would be less congestion between some of the tables. I try to be a polite player and avidly watch to stay out of people’s way while shooting. Sometimes you didn’t have enough room for two players on separate tables to be in the same space. The thing that really seals the deal for me as a woman player is the atmosphere. Had my husband not been there I’d feel very safe going alone. Not sure what it’s like there late at night but before 9pm there were lots of other females and that says a lot about the place. Everyone there genuinely liked playing so the atmosphere was light and really enjoyable. Restrooms are clean and service was great. Can’t wait to go back!!“

Christine made sure our food came out quickly and correctly. She never let our drinks get less than half full. She checked to make sure the food was as delicious for us as it looked.
