“We came in for a Father's Day gift. Met up with Stephen at the Bourbon and Brews festival hosted by the STL Bourbon Society and was interrsted in the bourbon tasting experience.

We came in on a Sunday and got to experience something so many bourbon enthusiasts rarely get to: tasting and then trying to blend your favorites together.

The first 1hr or so was spent sampling 20 different bourbons, wheats, ryes, and single malt /Barley. The staff was attentive and awesome to interact with. As we tasted our way through the bourbons we ordered the chacuturrie (sp?) Board. The meats and cheese came from a local store and all from MO, and were delicious. Personal favs were the jalepeno & honey cheddar and the cajun sausage.

The last 2 hrs was spent with Stephen and Zach, trying to get our blends to match what we wanted. A lot of trial and error but their knowledge on which whiskey inparted which flavor/heat/abv was impressive. 1st blend too earthy? Zach knew which bourbon was the culprit and how to adjust, and kept at it to get you the blend you wanted.

The end of this 5hr experience (we're on the slow side and took our time) was a bottle that was unique, an experience that left us thinking of when we could come back, and as a bourbon fan; a better understanding of how challenging it is to create a great blend.

For the price of $140/person we had a personalized tasting, a custom bottle ( we picked the name of our bottle), this is an experience everyone should try; especially if you're diving into the bourbon scene.

Karaoke, and it was HORRIBLE. Not that having karaoke is horrible, it's the few people that were there that couldn't sing. “I noticed some inaccuracies in the Dec 2024 M reeves review I'd like to point out. Tony's beer is cold & it doesn't cost $7 The only hot food available for purchase is pizza however the owner & her daughter (Pat & Diane) provide FREE food for numerous celebrations throughout the year. They also sell chips. Tony's has a lot of regular customers. I've been going there once or twice a month for years & if there's a secret handshake that's a well kept secret! Tony's is & has been a family owned bar a long time. Their prices are on the low end of the spectrum & if you get in a fight you're banned. Usually for life. Newcomers are always welcome, attitudes are not.“

Meg tells me a black woman, Beyonce, if played multiple times will make her upset and she will project that to customers. She never has asked anyone else this EVVER! In discussing further of no tip, she advised me not to come back in if I’m not playing the music that makes HER happy if not expecting for it to be turned off or for anger to go to other patrons which made me feel discriminated and responsible for others bad times. In drinking my drink in an almost empty bar, NOW, I’m taking seats up and mich as before amassing people around her to bully. This isn’t right and MEG SHOULD BE FIRED but at the very least a case is coming as she informed me her and the owner talk often and hertreatment is of the bar. As Meg stated if I want different treatment don’t come on her shift vs trying to make things right. My biggest fear is retaliation for speaking out CONTINUALLY on the same issue and we are still here and I AM BANNNED. So another reason this is public bc of the fear she put in me that her and the owner are so close that my claims will mean nothing!“

“We had a death in the family and someone referred OSP Tap House. My boyfriend booked it on a Saturday night and texted all our updates which made it easy for him. They opened their bar area just for us and were super accommodating. We got there earlier than expected and they got everything going and our server Amy killed it! We were all super impressed. They’re were about 30 of us so not an easy task and she did it flawlessly! The service was excellent and she got everything out and drinks refilled as quickly as they were emptied. The exterior is pretty impressive walking up to it.
The inside, there’s an antiquated ATM if you’re attending a cash only show. And once you get inside inside. The vibe to me was like a basement or maybe a living room. Which I loved. Comfy, feel right at home. Very loud sound system. Bartender came and found us, like sought us out. Even though we didn’t want anything, props for that. Really good service.“

“Went to the Ritz last night for their New Years Celebration. My shoe strap broke when walking in and I didn’t know what to do. But the staff there saved the day. I’ve never experienced such amazing hospitality. They saw me struggling and came to my rescue. Shoutout to Kenna for helping me. She not only offered a solution, but she sat on the floor and took 10 minutes to fix my shoe herself. All of the staff are so amazing and kind. My shoe stayed on all night and I was able to fully enjoy their amazing party. Thank you guys again ❤️“

“This place was nice to listen to music outdoors on a nice evening. The food trucks were really good. The atmosphere was nice but there were a lot of kids running around somewhat unsupervised. Not sure if that is the case every event or not but just be aware. You can bring your own lawn chairs or blanket. They also have a large screen TV outdoors to watch sports while listening to good music.“

“Everything about Robin was above expectations! Traveled in from Chicago, and before I arrived to St Louis, the team was able to help me secure a reservation. Upon arriving to Robin, the dining experience and service was impeccable. The vibe and atmosphere of the restaurant was perfection and truly allowed for a beautiful dining experience. Tables are well spaced, and the noise level that typically generates from other diners was basically non-existant. Drinks were top-notch, and whoever curated the drink menu should also get high praise. We ordered the snacks and bread to go along with the tasting menu. The snack bites started the food journey on the right food. My dining partner and I bother ordered the bread, and we probably could have gotten away with just one order. Every dish that we ordered from the tasting menu qas perfection. Standouts were the venison tartar, trout, chicken and short rib. It wss fantastic to also watch Chef Alec prepare each and every dish thst went out. The entire team was exceptional, and worked harmoniously like a beautiful choreographed ballet. “We met up with family from out of town on Friday night. The food was great as always. We sat and chit chatted for a bit after we were finished eating. Our sever was cut and we were not told. When we were ready to leave the server who had taken over our table was very rude and made a comment I finally get my station back! As we were getting up and walking away she went further to say that maybe she will be able to get a table finally before she’s cut. Nothing was mentioned about her needing her table or anything of that nature otherwise we would have gladly given it up. We’ve never had this issue when dining at biggies before. We were astonished and how rude she was instead of just asking us if we were finished. She never offered to refill our drinks or anything. We are very disappointed as we believed this was a family friendly environment who did not have an issue with a family getting together to celebrate the holiday early“
