Imagine a St. Louis Blues fan watching their team miss an easy goal. Complete disbelief mixed with "Why, universe, why?" Then, the bread and pickles at the condiment station pulled a Houdini on us. Just gone. The restaurant decided not to refill them, which felt a bit like being left hanging for a high five. The brisket? Hubby says it was solid. “First time there the food was really good I got a double cheeseburger, my mom and her friend got a whole Jack plate too and it was really good they didn't really add no salt to the whole Jack plate though so, my son got a Philly cheese steak and he only ate half of it so wow and he can eat“

“The food was amazing. I got the Oklahoma cheese burger (I got double patty since it is a smash burger) with Mac and cheese. We also got the grilled cheese brisket and fries. The fries are so good, will not go wrong. Overall the experience was great, literally no issues. Also they do not use Coke or Pepsi products. They use Excel bottling sodas which are really good. You can taste the cane sugar in the drinks. We got a lemonade and the R-pep (basically Dr. Pepper). Both are so good. The lemonade does not have that Minute Maid taste, more like a real lemonade to be honest.“

“Delicious food, it was like going to a barbecue at my family’s house, but I didn't have to do any work! Rib tips are tender and kissed with smoke, and that barbecue sauce is soooo delicious-savory, sweet, spicy, and perfectly thickened! We tried the coleslaw, baked beans, and potato salad, perfectly prepared-grandma’s hands are in it. The bread on the side is delicious too and I don’t eat bread, soft-slightly sweet and airy. I wish it was a sit down spot with a restroom, but they want you in and out and I get it. It’s clean in the seating area and comfortable. Customer service was alright, the plight of a Black entrepreneur is working hard for very little and never being able to lay down the apron-because business needs you as much as you need it. My prayer is that the elders in the Roper family get to pass the torch down fully to their heirs and that abundance infiltrates the business in every way and that rest is bestowed upon them.
